Two versions I’ve painted of Boeing P-26A Peashooters flown by Filipino pilots during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines Dec 1941. P-26s of the 6th Pursuit Squadron led by Capt. Jesus Villamor claimed 4 Japanese aircraft shot down.

Boeing P-26 Peashooter from the 3rd Pursuit Squadron at Nichols Field, Philippines, April 1938. They would still be in service and face the Japanese invasion in December 1941. Mostly overwhelmed they still claim at least 4 victories, 3 Zeros and a G3M Nell
