THE GUY!!!! left algorhythm in march 2018 because of the issues he had with daehoon and the fact that despite helping out a Lot with the tracks on their second ep he goes Zero credit. like literally none. the biggest social butterfly ever hes got the largest friend group out of the 5 😭 in love w minwoo like.. they are best friends. fc is jay from enha!!!!!!!

Hybrid!! Youngmin and Kwangmin x Gender Neutral!! Reader

(A/N: I was very sad to find out that Boyfriend disbanded, seeing as I’d originally gotten very into them back in the summer of 2013, but nonetheless, I’d gotten back into listening to their older things and decided to write something self-indulgent for my biases, hence the hybrid au.)

A series of loud cracks and bangs sound from outside, and you groan internally at how the sounds of the fireworks just won’t seem to die down and let you sleep. A particularly loud one goes off as you go to sit against the headboard, and a pair of yelps follow, both of your dachshund hybrids bursting into your room and climbing into your bed to curl up against you, afraid of the noises. Yet another string of smaller pops and screeching whistle sounds happens, and the blonde puppy flattens his ears and clings to both you and the younger chocolate twin pup, alongside his Whinnie the Pooh plush.

“Why are fireworks a thing for holidays??” Kwang-Min whines, settling in your lap but leaning forward to tuck his head under Young-Min’s chin, clutching onto his Pikachu plush, “Why are they a thing in general??”

“Shh… Shh...” You coo gently, petting both of them softly and pressing feather-light kisses to each of their temples, “It’s alright. It’s okay.”

“It’s just that the loudness is so sudden and harsh that it’s scary….” Young-Min murmurs against your shoulder, and they both jump as another louder bang sounds.

“Want some music??” You offer, moving the hand that was rubbing Kwang-Min’s back to grab your phone, and he whines briefly.

They both nod their heads at that, and you turn on a random playlist that you’d made a while back for them. As the tracks pass the time, the fireworks slowly start to die down, and they relax more and more against you despite not falling asleep just yet. When the noises of fireworks finally go away, they both look so relieved. Young-Min peeks out from your shoulder and Kwang-Min moves back a bit so there’s room for Young-Min’s head to be partially under your chin as well, the both of them tucked into your sides and arms draped almost lazily over you and the other.

“Better now??” You ask quietly, still sitting up against the headboard and letting your fingers comb gently through their hair, toying with then messy ends and stray strands before sometimes moving to run your fingertips down the lengths of their spines.

“Mm-hmm.” They both hum in response, nodding against you, tails wagging slightly as you pet them.

As time drags on, music still plays, and as they drift off against you, you find your chest swelling with impossible amounts of nothing but pure warmth and fondness for the twins.
