Ehi Passiko continues with a gap between lovely holidays to the beaches of England and Wales. I took the opportunity to meet @jennyannearts at #manchesterbuddhistcentre - the day before I was collaging white manmade things onto the brown paper in answer to one of Keri Smith’s explorations but went back to exercise two for our trip to the meditation hall with the large rupa of Amitabha as a Western Buddha. I had been unconvinced by the image when I saw it on photographs but was surprised to find it had reduced me to tears wen I was actually in its presence. J.A and I had had a lovely day discussing the Emptiness of inherent reality (or self) in phenomena, (as you do), and had experienced a pretty profound spiritual event when leaving- (like a good joke you kind of had to be there but we were both pretty amazed by it at the time). The next day was a return to ordinary Samsara and waiting in the phone with my call being appreciated and valued by Talk Talk to make a complaint. Horrible service from a diabolical company. The Dying Slave seemed like a reasonable response and not in the least hyperbolic or camp. Following that was an ill/observed drawing of Kev and exploration 6, which I had translated into the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries of the Rosary to make notes about three stages of my life, the wonderful childhood full of kindness I had been lucky enough to have, the very challenging period with school and the Church about my sexuality and the unfathomable and seemingly un-earned good fortune of meeting the Buddhadharma, and having Jasmine, Kev and wonderful friends in my life #kerismithbooks #kerismith #journaling #drawing #sketchbook #amitabha #memories #nostalgia #2000s #shitservice #talktalk #queerartist #liverpoolartist #collage #buddha #manchesterbuddhistcentre #triratna #kadampabuddhism (at Manchester Buddhist Centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiqAhMQMTrA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

40 random stuff about me
Hey, everyone! How is it hangin’? Since it has roughly been three years since I first joined the platform, I decided to do tell you 60 random stuff about me, so that we can finally get to know each other a bit better! Let’s begin!
1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Palaio Faliro, a small suburb near the sea, in Athens, Greece.
2. Where do you currently live?
Well, I’m still living in Palaio Faliro :)
3. Who is your first best friend?
Through the years, I’ve made lots of friends and at the same time I lost many friends. I only started making serious friendships at the age of 12. So, my first actual best friend is Mary! We still hang out whenever we can :)
4. How tall are you?
I’m  5 ft 0.24 in tall [153 cm]
5.Dogs or Cats?
Dogs!
6. Funniest moment throughout high school?
I can’t recall sth funny from my high school years :(
7. What year were you born?
2000
8. Are you in/have you gone to college?
Yes, I’m halfway through my second year at University! I’m in the Archival, Librarian and Information Studies department.
9. What is your favorite drink?
Hot chocolate
10. What is your spirit animal and why?
My spirit animal is a deer. I guess that’s because I have the ability to be vigilant, move quickly and trust my instincts to get out the trickiest situations. I am highly sensitive and have a strong intuition. By affinity with this animal, I have the power to deal with challenges with grace. I master the art of being both determined and gentle in my approach.
11. You’re wearing perfume, what scent is it?
Right now, I am heavily obsessed with Sexy Amber by Michael Kors. It smells like amber wrapped in sandalwood and layered with white flowers [jasmine in specific, if I am not mistaken]
12. Tea or Coffee?
Tea
13. What are your life goals?
Study and then work as much as I can so that one day I won’t have to depend on anyone except for myself.
14. What sports do you play or have you played?
When I was a teenager, I used to play table tennis. I stopped at the age of 17.
15. Have any books you read changed your life?
Yep. Pollyana by Eleanor Porter is a book that has changed my life. Basically, it kind of taught me to see the bright side in everything and how to make things work out no matter the situation.
16. What is your favorite movie?
Disney’s Brave
17. Who are your favorite YouTubers?
Zoella and MessYourself
18. Do you speak any languages and how well?
I can speak Greek, which is my native language. Apart from that, I can speak English at a decent level I guess, and then I know a bit of French and Spanish.
19. Are you single or taken?
Single
20. What is your idea of your dream date?
I’ve never really thought about it tbh. I guess spending the night at home, watching movies and snuggling in each other’s arms
21. How long was your longest relationship?
I’ve never had one
22. How would you describe your fashion sense?
That depends, I guess. I really love the emo/pastel emo fashion. For some people it’s terrible, for me it’s perfect
23. What is your go-to hairstyle?
Messy bun
24. How many siblings do you have?
One younger sister
25. What is your go-to fast food order?
1 cheeseburger and a medium-sized cola
26. Do you use a PC or a Mac?
I’m a proud PC user huehuehue
27. Your most memorable vacation memory?
I was very young when I last wen on vacation, so nothing comes to mind tbh
28. What are your morning, evening routines?
Get up, have some coffee/ tea, study, read manga, comics, and books, draw a bit, write one of my books, ya know stuff like that
29. Do you have any bad habits?
I’m quite violent towards myself when stressed and sad, sometimes without even noticing
30. Tell us one thing about you that we wouldn’t know?
I love dunk memes
31 What is your favorite Netflix show?
Stranger Things
32. What is the craziest thing you have done?
I have smoked once, does that count? :p
33. What is your favorite genre of film and why?
Comedy I’d say because I really love having a good laugh every now and then
34. What was your dream job as a kid?
When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a vet!
35. What is your coffee order?
One latte, double, with 2 cubes of sugar
36. Have you moved from home, where to and how was the experience?
I have moved houses several times, yes. We changed areas twice [when I was little] and then we actually stayed in houses in the area I currently live in. After the first two times, I just felt emotionally exhausted
37. Have you ever failed at anything and what did you learn?
Well, my exams in the first semester at Uni, last year. Out of the five subjects, I only passed the two. What I learned is to fight harder for my goals and not to let any distractions ruin my plans
38. How many countries have you traveled to?
I have traveled to Malta with my parents!
39. Who is your celebrity crush?
John Deacon from Queen. He’s so cuteeee
40. What are your pet peeves?
People who chew with their mouth open
So, um, that’s basically it! If there’s something else you’d like to know about me, you could write it down in the comments or even send me an ask!

Ehi Passiko continues with a gap between lovely holidays to the beaches of England and Wales where, I took the opportunity to meet @jennyannearts at #manchesterbuddhistcentre - the day before I was collaging white man made things onto the brown paper in answer to one of Keri Smith’s explorations but went back to exercise two for our trip to the meditation hall with the large rupa of Amitabha as a Western Buddha. I had been unconvinced by the image when I saw it on photographs but was surprised to find it had reduced me to tears wen I was actually in its presence. J.A and I had had a lovely day discussing the Emptiness of inherent reality (or self) in phenomena, as you do, and had experienced a pretty profound spiritual event when leaving- like s good joke you kind of had to be there but we were both pretty amazed by it at the time. The next day was a return to ordinary Samsara and waiting in the phone with my call being appreciated and valued by Talk Talk to make a complaint. Horrible service from a diabolical company. The Dying Slave seemed like a reasonable response and not in the least hyperbolic or camp. Following that was an ill/observed drawing of Kev and exploration 6, which I had translated into the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries of the Rosary to make notes about three stages of my life, the wonderful childhood full of kindness I had been lucky enough to have, the very challenging period with school and the Church about my sexuality and the unfathomable and seemingly un-earned good fortune of meeting the Buddhadharma, and having Jasmine, Kev and wonderful friends in my life #kerismithbooks #kerismith #journaling #drawing #sketchbook #amitabha #memories #nostalgia #2000s #shitservice #talktalk #queerartist #liverpoolartist #collage (at Manchester Buddhist Centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_nGjwaAq1G/?igshid=xm8pwy7axrk4
