ah so. genshin's english team doesn't record lines until a month before the expected patch drops. and here I was incorrectly thinking they recorded things way earlier than that

#this is about several VAs having no recorded lines for this and upcoming patches bc of a strike #not against mhy but against formosa. the studio theyre working under #and specifically against formosa refusing to negotiate w the voice actor's union about not using generative AI #p much everyone in the upcoming sumeru event except cyno and paimon's VA are participating in that strike
