Who’s the messiest one:Misty isn’t messy, per se, but she’s not as much of a perfectionist as Dawn. She’s more likely to leave shoes or a towel lying about, whereas Dawn needs to have everything in its place so she can find it! Misty also drips water in the home sometimes.

Who feels the most uncomfortable about PDA:Misty is surprisingly tsun when it comes to PDA! She gets very red and tries to squirm away or pretend she’s doing it just for Dawn’s sake. (She actually loves hugging and holding her girlfriend, though)

Who’s the funniest drunk:Dawn! She hiccups a lot, giggles even more, and loves to play with Misty’s hair when she’s drunk. Misty doesn’t mind the hair, but when Dawn breaks out her makeup, she has to draw the line. Drunken makeovers are a big NO.

Who texts the most:Dawn! She loves to send cute pictures or messages, and she also sends Misty a lot of snapchat selfies!

Who has the most embarrassing taste in music:Dawn did not expect Misty to have a ton of punk rock on her iPod but she does. She actually thinks it’s cute.

Who reads the most:Dawn reads a lot of mythology books! Growing up in Sinnoh, she was surrounded by enormous libraries! She also reads plenty of romance novels, too.

Who’s better with kids:Dawn is great with kids! She’s super peppy and can easily go from playful to serious when the situation demands. However, she tends to get overwhelmed by them pretty quickly.

Who’s the one that fixes things around the house:Misty does! She’s not afraid to push up her sleeves and get down to work! She maintains her gym mostly on her own, anyway.

Who’s got the weirdest hobby:Is Pokestyling weird? Misty thinks it’s a little bizarre and overly hyped, but she also thinks it’s part of Dawn’s charm~

Who cooks and who cleans up:Dawn doesn’t let Misty anywhere NEAR the kitchen. Misty cleans up as a way of doing her part and thanking Dawn so that they don’t have to live off of takeout.

The thing about dating a Gym Leader, Dawn realized, is they are often very unabashed about their type preference. Misty is a good example of this: any Water-type, regardless of how strange or “ugly”, can make her gush endlessly.

Tentacool and Tentacruel were enough evidence of this, but Dawn was a little shocked when Misty became enamored over the most outrageous Water Pokemon yet: Pyukumuku.

“Just look at it!” Misty exclaims, holding out the Sea Cucumber Pokemon out in her hands.

Dawn looks at it. It stares back at her, with blank eyes that nonetheless displays a mix of curiosity and confusion. “It’s, er… cute.” She says finally, not having the heart to tell the truth.

Misty beams and proceeds to proclaim that she’s going to capture it. She sets the Pyukumuku back down on the beach and starts rummaging in her bag for a Pokemon to fight it.

Then, to both of their surprise, a kid comes running up, grabs the Pyukumuku, and hurls it straight into the ocean.

Misty gasps as the Pokemon sails through the air, landing into the sea with a plop. 

“Oh, you beautiful weirdo.” Dawn says, sitting down on the warm sand, watching as Misty runs into the water to find the Pokemon.

Not that I expected to see it on your list of ships, but maybe oystershipping-swimming?

“I can’t believe you,” says Misty, arms folded, eyes narrowed in dislike. “You come all this way saying you want me to teach you how to swim and you’re perfectly capable of doing it yourself.”

“What can I say?” grins Dawn, eyes flashing in glee, floating on her back. “I just wanted to get you into a swimsuit.”

Misty rolls her eyes and gracefully dives into the pool, the water muffling her senses until she breaks the surface again. She looks over and Dawn’s frowning at her, having been splashed by the red-head’s entrance.

“That was mean,” Dawn pouts, and pushes her palms along the surface of the water to splash Misty back, but the Gym Leader is too fast: instantly she disappears, reappearing behind her.

“Mean is lying to me,” She breathes into Dawn’s ear, snaking her arms around the other girl’s bare stomach. Dawn gasps and shudders, her face heating up. “How are you gonna make up for it?”

Grinning again, Dawn reaches behind her and undoes the top of her bathing suit. “How’s this?” She asks, flinging the fabric out of the pool.

“It’s a start,” Misty admits, turning around to let her companion even things out.
