Bite-sized update

I’m working on myself trying to stop overthinking so much and get in touch with my feelings instead. I thought things were getting sorted out for me but that wasn’t the case and for the past month+ I’ve been going through a situation that’s still causing me occasional stomachaches.

One day when I was particularly disheartened I happened to see this cutie around, I called out to him without holding too much hope and he came over to let me love him. He rolled over too! 12/10 experience, much needed.

Thus the break is still ongoing but I hope I can eventually muster up enough motivation and energy to finish up some things for Simblreen. As expected, it’s hard to create with a heavy heart.

In order to keep my mind off things I decided to finally start learning Welsh and it’s making me reasonably happy with myself.

I was today years old when I found out that normal maps for tucked tops will show through high-waisted bottoms (for the part that the game still reads as being “top”) 😫

EA pls why no normal map sort layer? 😭

Welp just noticed I have misspelled a good number of nonsims tags throughout the years 🫠

Well I can’t seem to be able to schedule the release from early access anymore 🫠 I feel like those people in movies who wake up from a coma and find out that everything around them has completely changed 🫣

Woah Tumblr’s image quality is even more potato than I remembered

I know that it’s meant to limit anonymous hate, but I can’t help feeling kinda bummed about the fact that now people need a Tumblr account to ask questions.

I used to think that I loved that part of Tumblr, allowing anyone to interact with anyone else even without being a user. I did also take advantage of this feature myself, and came to ask a few questions in the past.

It felt way more democratic over Twitter’s and Instagram’s policies, where you can’t even rewatch a video if you’re not logged in, and can only scroll a couple of times…

And it’s funny because I still have a draft dated Feb 7, 2021 talking about how much I appreciated the Tumblr asks system and how frustrating it feels to want to just tell an artist on one of those other platforms “You are amazing, I love your work!” but being unable to do so without registering first

hi. i don't want to be weird since i'm a complete stranger, but i just got back into the sims 4 and am therefore binge-downloading sims 4 cc, which led me to your blog. i read your pinned post and its tags, and i just wanted to say that you're not broken and you're not to blame. a shitty person decided to do shitty things to you, that's on them and only them. i wish you the best of luck with healing and everything, and that the good days make the bad ones worth it.

I open my pictures in the app to see how they look and the poor quality makes me want to cry 🫠
