Decided to brush up on the mothman story recently, this documentary was good so thought I'd share!
#for the record if it was a bird I don't think it could have been a crane#because of the silent flying detail#owls have specialized feathers to move silently like was described but it means they aren't waterproof#if u leave mothman in the rain or throw him in a pool he is going to look like a sad wet cat#or a sad wet owl as the case may be#idk tho lol#I do think it's spooky that the grinning man in the narrative apparently went 'be not afraid' angel-style tho#according to a different documentary#interesting stuff no idea wtf was up
