18+ MINORS AND THOSE WITHOUT AGE IN BIO DNI
tags: @illiana-mystery
warnings: Swearing, ranting from reader
The noise from the water park was getting unbearable, even with the door to Owen's office closed. I dug my headphones out of my bag and plugged them in but even the music blasting from the laptop couldn't drown anything out. Groaning, I put my head on the desk. The little clock at the bottom of the exam kept ticking away, reminding me that I was taking an insane amount of time to complete it. There was a knock on the door before it opened. I pulled out my headphones as the person walked in.
"Whoa. Hey." Owen said. "No dying on the clock." I lifted my head and glared at him, propping my chin on the desk. "Oh. Its that bad then?" I nodded and he walked over to see the exam I was taking. "Yeah. No. Can't help with that. Like at all."
"That's ok." I said with a sigh, running my hands down my face. "Neither can I. I don't know what I need this for. It isn't even part of my actual degree or anything. I mean it is but not what I want to use the damn degree for." I leaned back in the chair and let it hit Owen in the stomach.
"Ow." he said, but not moving away. "How much more you have to go with this?"
"Like the exam or the class?" I asked, looking back at him. "Because both feel like forever."
"The exam." He said, leaning down as he righted the chair. Owen put his hand on the table next to the laptop and leaned closer. "Ok. Four more questions you can do this."
"No. I can't." I moaned, letting my head fall back against his arm that was braced against my chair. "It took me 40 minutes to get here! That's three questions Owen. Three fucking questions I'm not even sure are filled out correctly!" Owen put his hand on my shoulder and gently rubbed it.
"Have you talked to the teacher? Maybe get some extra help or something?" He said, eyes roaming over the computer screen still.
"Ha!" I laughed. Owen looked at me. "The teacher is shit. Talks at us instead of to us. Grades and corrects us but half the shit that we get wrong wasn't even fucking covered in the lessons. At all. And when she does answer our questions, it always goes back to check the lesson. Well I'm sorry but the crap you added to correct whatever it was I put down wasn't even there! Maybe don't dock points for shit you didn't even cover!" Owen squeezed my shoulder. "And then...and then...she expects you to remember all this crap so it isn't even written down anywhere except in the lessons cuz she's too lazy to compile it all and the students are too brain dead to do it themselves! So you have to spend twenty minutes to find the shit you need only to see it was the wrong shit to begin with!" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. âI feel like Iâm failing no matter what I do.â
âso why donât you cheat?â Owen asked with a shrug. I gave him a look.
âI did. Copied and pasted from somewhere else. And she marked it wrong! Like she graded it to her standards and it was wrong!â Owen chuckled as he wrapped his arms around me. A kiss was pressed to my temple. âOwen I just canât take this anymore. Itâs driving me up a wall.â
âdoes how long you take on this matter?â He asked after a minute. I shook my head. âCome on. Weâre going for a ride.â He pulled me up and started to drag me out of the office.
âOwen Iâm not in the mood.â I groaned. He laughed and shook his head.
ânot that kind of ride.â He said, smiling at me. âBut Iâm not opposed to one later.â I rolled my eyes. âNo im talking about driving down the highway as fast as we can without getting caught. Top down. Radio blasting. Come on. Youâll love it.â
âalright. Alright.â I agreed as Owen grabbed his keys. âI do need to finish that exam eventually though.â Owen nodded before opening the car door for me. When he had gotten in, the car reved to life. He peeled out of the parking lot and headed out to the highway.
âso how much longer do you have this class?â He asked, glancing over at me. âAm I going to have to stay out of my office for months on end now?â
âno. Just today.â I sighed. âJust because of the exam. I didnât have enough time to do that at home and itâs due by the end of the night. Thanks for that by the way. Not sure if I said it.â Owen nodded, reaching over to hold my hand.
âanytime. Just let me know when you need it.â He said, pulling my hand up to kiss it. âAnd I want you to know that anytime you need to vent again, well Iâm here.â I nodded.
âthanks Owen.â I said softly. He nodded before gunning it down the highway, a smile on both our faces.

Psa. Matt refers to reader as "pretty" and Chris refers to reader as "ma", just so you don't get confused with the dialogues.
Sum. Everything goes south when you show up at the campus Halloween party in a tiny black witch costume; becoming their prey for the night.
You werenât prepared when your best friend came knocking at your door with a big duffle bag, trying to convince you to come to the annual Halloween party, but you had already decided to stay in your dorm room and continue doing your assignments.
"Câmon, donât be like that, I even bought us matching costumes," she stepped inside, letting you close the door behind her. "I can help you do your make-up, please?" Your friend begged, plopping down on your bed. You sighed and rubbed your temple, "I told you already, Iâm not going, that Halloween party will probably be just like a frat one and you know how I am about frat parties."
Your friend crossed her arms with raised eyebrows, "no, it wonât be like a frat party, but I guess thereâll be those fraternity guys there since you know... Campus party, everyoneâs gonna be thereâ" you cut her off, "except for me," causing her to collapse back onto your bed.
"Pretty please?" She pleaded again, jutting her bottom lip out dramatically, making you laugh. "No, like I saidâ" she cut you off with a groan, "câmooon, Halloween happens only once a year..." her voice trailed off as a grin made its way onto her lips, "if you go this once, I wonât bug you again, like I promise I wonât ask you to come to frat parties with me."
You couldnât help but be tempted with the deal, clearing your throat as you looked at her, "you serious?" She nodded vigorously, "yeah, I am, I am dead serious, so? will you?" You sighed and nodded, eliciting a happy "yay" from her.
She immediately spilled the contents from her huge duffel bag, tons of make-up products and two matching witch costumes. You picked one up, inspecting it. The costume was incredibly short and could almost pass off as a long shirt.
"Are you serious? This is what you picked?" She gave you a deadpanned look, "itâs Halloween! You know what they say, the only time of the year to be as slutty as you want." She nudged your arm, grinning, "plus I bet guys would go nuts when they see you in this."
đ©âĄđȘ
Your friend helped you with your make-up, and as you looked in the mirror, you felt like you were someone else, in a good way. The costume was short, but it made you feel a bit more confident than usual. The black heel boots you had lying around â that youâve been wanting to wear for so long â seemed to match the vibe of the dress.
The long sleeves and overall style of the costume had already started to grow on you. "Not too bad," you said as you curled your hair, "yeah? told you so," your friend grinned triumphantly, making you roll your eyes in a playful manner.
The moment you arrived at the party, your ears immediately rang at the loud music, "fuck, why is it so loud here?" you shouted to your friend, trying to get your words across the short distance, but the music drowned out your voice.
"Itâs always this loud, youâre just not used to it, câmon, letâs get drinks!" She dragged you towards the table of drinks, expertly weaving through the crowd. Alcohols that you didnât even know the names of were stacked in an oddly neat way along with soft drinks, water and way too many solo cups.
A girl standing by the table, dressed as the grinch, offered to make you and your friend drinks, halloween specials. As you were sipping on your drink, you noticed a pair of guys, almost identical looking.
"Holy fuck, you know who they are?" you nudged your friend, jerking your head at the direction of the guys dressed as vampires. She followed your gaze and looked at them, "yeah?" she chuckled, "you donât?" Shaking your head as you kept your gaze on the guys, unable to take it off of them.
"Of course you donât, youâre always buried in schoolwork," she clicked her tongue, "theyâre quite famous around campus you know?" You let out a huff, taking another big gulp of your drink, groaning at the burn of the mixed alcohols. "So? Who are they?"
"The one with the cap is Chris and the one that doesnât have a cap is Matt, obviously, theyâre identical triplets, but I donât think Nickâs here today." You let out an "oh" sound of understanding before you took another sip of your drink.
"Heard they got a bro code or whatnot, like they wouldnât hit the same girl," your friend shrugged, telling you all she knew about them, "yeah... couldnât care less, câmon letâs just dance or something," you said pulling your friend away from the table of drinks and onto the dance floor. You couldnât help but feel interested despite your words.
After one too many drinks and a few stolen glances later, you found yourself in a bathroom, two pairs of hands roaming over your body while you shared a kiss with one of the guysâthe one with the cap.
The other one kissed your neck, trailing it down to your collarbone and leaving love bites there before going back to your neck. The one with the cap broke the kiss, "you know our names ma?" He breathed out, "uh... youâre Chris, and heâs Matt, right?" you asked hesitantly, the slight intoxication making your mind a jumbled up mess.
"Mhmâbingo, pretty," Matt whispered, his lips grazing just under your earlobe, causing a shiver to run down your spine. Butterflies swarmed in your stomach as they continued to kiss and caress your body, your body reacting to every word and touch from them, making their faces light up with smirks.
Their fake fangs nipped at your skin, causing you to gasp softly each time. "Say, letâs go to a more comfortable place?" Chris suggested, "Yeah, canât really do much in a bathroom," Matt chuckled as he added.
They led you out of the bathroom and weaved through the crowd of people dancing. You tried to find your friend to tell her you were going but you couldn't find her in the crowd. Suddenly, you got a message and a photo from her apologizing saying that she was gonna head home with her boyfriend since it was getting late. How convenient.
You sighed and let the guys lead you out of the party, your costume rode up ever so slightly as you tried to balance on the heel boots in your slightly tipsy state. You were very much aware of your surroundings and the two fellas, dressed as vampires, leading you towards their car.
"Where are we going?" You asked, a bit puzzled but willing. Matt and Chris both chuckled in unison at your confused state, "oh yeah, weâre gonna go to our place, you mind?" Chris asked as he looked back at you, "I mean, if you donât feel comfortable with that, we could always hit up a hotel," Matt shrugged.
You hummed, looking back and forth between them before making your decision, "no, yeah, iâm good with your place," they both visibly relaxed and grinned, "alright then, hop in, pretty," Matt said as he opened the backseat door.
đ©âĄđȘ
The drive to their place was fairly fast, accompanied by small talks and laughter, but that quickly turned into heated kisses and breathy moans once you got inside their house. Stumbling into one of their rooms, they started to strip you out of the skimpy costume.
Gently pushing you on the bed before they started to strip themselves, your gaze raked over their bodies as you waited on the bed, biting your lip in anticipation. Once they were matching you in nakedness, they sat on either side of you, starting to lavish attention to your body once again.
"Fuck, youâre so beautiful ma, so fucking beautiful," Chris murmured against the swell of your breast, "mhm... so pretty" Matt whispered an agreement in your ear before kissing along your jawline, his hand caressing your body, slowing inching down to cup your mound.
You hissed softly when his fingers made in contact with your swollen clit, slick with arousal, and throbbing for attention. The brothers quickly picked up on your growing need and desperation as they saw just how wet you had become.
Your folds glistened in the dim light of the bedside lamp, the obvious need evident in your tone when Chris plunged a finger inside your tight heat. "Fuâck," you moaned softly, your breathing a lot more ragged now that he was moving his digit in and out of you, slipping in a second finger and smirking at how you seemed to suck in his fingers.
"Someoneâs eager," Matt chuckled, his voice a bit deeper than usual, betraying his arousal. The pads of his fingers started to circle your sensitive bundle of nerves, eliciting slightly louder moans from you.
The feeling was already so pleasurable, and you didnât know if it was the alcohol making you feel more than usual or just the brothers themselves, either way you knew you were incredibly turned on.
They adjusted your position, easily manhandling you, but their touch was gentleâ almost tender if you will. The new position gave them more to work with. You were on your hands and knees and they stood on their knees on either side of you, still squeezing and caressing every inch of skin they could touch.
They were big â huge even â it made you feel a bit nervous. They were easily 10", and who knows how thick, standing tall and proud. You gulped softly when Chris gripped your hip with one hand and led his length towards your aching pussy. The tip of his cock slid up and down your slit, making you whine and push back against him.
They chuckled at your needy gestures and sounds, "youâre so responsive ma, âs intoxicating," Chris emphasized his words with a slap on your ass, causing you to jolt and whine, his hand gently caressing the reddening skin.
Matt, being the one in front of you, caressed your cheek and made you look up at him by lifting your face by your jaw. Smirking when he saw the desperation in your eyes, "whatâs up pretty? Canât handle a little teasing?" He spoke with faux sympathy, making you all the more desperate.
Before you could open your mouth to speak, you felt the sudden stretch, causing you to move forwardâtrying to get away from the sensation, only to be held in place by two pairs of hands. Chris clicked his tongue, "relax ma," his hands squeezed your ass, sinking his fingers in your plush flesh as he moved forward, filling you completely.
"Oh fuâck, Chris too bigâ" your moans got muffled when Matt fed you his length, groaning at the sensation of your mouth on him and the vibrations from your moans as Chris took you from behind.
Chrisâ pupils dilated when he saw the way your ass recoiled against his hips with each deep and slow thrust, he gripped your hips tighter and surged forward with increasing fervor. The force of it pushed you forward, each thrust making you involuntarily deepthroat Matt, making them both groan at the pleasure.
Chris suddenly pulled out, and stood up, "I think Iâve got something nice." Matt chuckled when he understood what Chris implied and pulled out of your mouth with a wet pop. You looked at them confused, feeling empty and still aching with need.
A few minutes later, Chris came back with a vibrator and a bottle of lube in hand. You blinked rapidly as your gaze flickered between the brothers, making them chuckle, "donât worry pretty, weâll make you feel good, âpromise." Chris sat on the bed behind you, getting in position again.
"Alright ma, up," he playfully slapped your ass before helping you back in the position you were in moments ago, but this time you were facing Chris with Matt behind you. Your moans filled the room once again when Matt entered you, stretching you deliciously.
Your moans were quickly muffled by Chrisâ cock, which you eagerly let in your mouth, and the pleasure was already bordering on too much. Your body tensed when you felt vibrations on your clit. Matt groaned loudly when he felt you clench around him like a vice, his hips picking up pace in response.
Your moans vibrated around Chrisâ shaft, making him buck his hips faster, fucking your mouth as he gripped your hair in a makeshift ponytail. Your eyes rolled back briefly as Matt hit that spot deep within you, the one that made sparks dance behind your eyes, the one that made you moan louder.
The vibrations of the vibe increased, making your legs shake as you tried to ground yourself from the intense pleasure that you wondered if you could take any more of. That was when Matt held you by your waist and started to target a specific spotâyour g-spot.
The feeling of him hitting your g-spot with such precision and the vibrator doing its job on your throbbing clit, made you squirm, trying to get away from the intensity of it all, but their hands kept you in place. With a loud muffled moan you squirted, unable to warn them due to Chrisâ cock in your mouth. The brothers let out breathy chuckles when they saw the mess you were making, but didnât stop nevertheless.
They followed you soon after, their releases filling up your holes. You couldnât even keep yourself steady on your legs and arms anymore, it was all threatening to buckle under you any second.
Carefully, they laid you down, and seeing the wrecked state you were in just seemed to fuel their desires further. Their semi-hard lengths hardened once more as they gazed down at you. Your disheveled hair, the hickeys adorning your body, Mattâs release trickling out of you and Chrisâ dripping down your chin.
Mattâs hand came up to caress your side, causing a breathy sigh to escape your lips, "you think you can go one more round pretty?" Chris chuckled softly, "mhmâma, donât think we can get enough of you, think you can take us both?"
"Both? like at the same time?" you whispered, your voice already hoarse from overuse. They nodded, chuckling as they helped you into a sitting position, "yeah, weâve got lube, but itâs fine if youâre not up for it, prettyâ" you cut him off, "well, I donât mind, i mean... if it can fit that is..." your voice trailed off as you looked down at their laps.
"Donât worry, ma, weâll make it fit," is all you heard before they got in position. Matt laying with you on top of him and Chris behind you. The pop of the lube cap made your body shiver in anticipation, the mildly cold oil jolting every nerve as it ran down your slit, making you shudder.
Matt slowly pushed inside, eliciting a soft moan from you, and as you finally adjusted to his size, Chris nudged himself on your already full pussy. "Shhâ âs alright, pretty, just relax," Matt cooed from under you, his arms holding you in place as Chris entered you from behind. You squirmed under their touch, moaning loudly, and the stretch being too much, too big.
Chris grunted at the tightness as he pushed inside, stilling when he bottomed out inside you, "shit ma, so fuckinâ tight," he hissed through his teeth. Matt chuckled, his voice huskier, "yeah, you like how we stretch you, pretty? how fuckinâ big we are?" You could only mumble a "yes" that sounded more like a whimper.
They let you adjust to their sizesâthe fullness and the stretch. Their hands caressed your body soothingly, whispering sweet nothings in your ears, and kissing your shoulders and neck.
You finally relaxed around them, moaning softly at the sudden pang of pleasure from being filled to the brim. Your pleasure didnât go unnoticed by Matt and Chris, chuckling to themselves as they started to move. Your world blurred as you felt an immense pleasure youâve never felt before.
Your body moved on its own, meeting their thrusts, wanting more of that delicious feeling. And all that only made them move faster â harder â thrusting into you with renewed fervor. Your hands clutched whatever you could hold, grounding yourself so you wouldnât get consumed by the pleasure.
"Fuâck pretty, so fuckinâ tight," Chris mumbled an agreement, both of them holding you in place as they took what they wanted. You could only hold on, and moan for them. "Shit, gonna fill you up so goodâ swell you with my cum, ma," Chris groaned, "Yeah, fuckâ you ready for us pretty?" Matt added, muffling his sounds of pleasure on your shoulder.
You mumbled a plea for them to cum inside youâto which they gladly did, groaning and moaning as they filled you up. Their combined release spilled out from the sides, making a mess.
Gently pulling out from your well-used hole, their chests heaved with exertion. In spite of their softening cocks, they couldnât help the feral, almost animalistic, feeling when they saw the sight of their mixed release trickling out of your pussy.
They both groaned under their breaths before exchanging knowing glances, a silent conversation between them, and slowly alerting you about their insatiable desires for you. "You okay, pretty?" Mattâs hand caressed your cheek while Chris squeezed your ass, "weâre not done with you ma, not by a long shot."
They chuckled as they saw you look at them surprised, but didnât protest or say no, instead pulled them closer â a silent plea for more. "Weâre gonna fuck this pussy so good," Matt whispered in your ear, "and fill you up with our spend until you swell with our babies," Chris added, whispering in your other ear.
Their words were filled with promises, and that alone made you feel immense pleasure, a need for more.
The next morning, you woke up with a bad headache, and sore all over. It wasnât a surprise that you had a hangover but it was a surprise when you became aware of your surroundings. You were in an unknown room, entangled with not one, but two guys. It didnât help that they were brothers, identical brothers.
"Heard they got a bro code or whatnot, like they wouldnât hit the same girl." Your friendâs words echoed in your head. Guess it wasnât true after all, their bro code.

scared half to death
đȘïžïżŒtyler owens x fem!reader ïżŒ
â genre: angst, fluff, friends to lovers
â wc: 2.7k
â summary: tyler owens is not easily angered, but when the love of his life runs into an incoming tornado without a second thought, his emotions get the better of him.
â warnings: a very upset tyler, yelling, language
note: so i watched twisters and it was actually everything to me! the brainrot is bad and iâve been wanting to write for tyler ever since i saw it, so here it is! this is very much the idiots in love trope because itâs one of my favorites. enjoy! :)
âWhere is she?â
Tyler isnât sure if heâs ever felt this angry before. He considers himself a fairly easy going man, always quick to make light of a situation and put everyone in the room at ease with his charming, joking nature.
But this was different. This had his heart pounding, his ears ringing. His face is flushed red and he feels like he can hardly breathe.
All because of her.
He slams the door of his truck, approaching his crew in the gas station parking lot with a look on his face thatâs so completely un-Tyler that it makes them all shift uneasily.
âWhereâsâŠwho?â Boone tries weakly, unsuccessful in his attempt to play dumb. Lily rolls her eyes and elbows him in the ribs, shooting him a glare.
Tyler clenches his jaw, for once not in the mood for his friendsâ antics. âYou know damn well who Iâm talking about.â
They all exchange glances, his uncharacteristic demeanor both surprising and concerning. This isnât the calm, charismatic frontman of the Tornado Wranglers theyâre used to.
âSheâs in the RV, but I donât think-â Dani begins, but heâs already beelining for the camper before they can finish. He can hear his heartbeat pulsing in his ears as he nearly bursts through the door, finding her sitting at the small table in the back with her head in her hands.
Her gaze snaps up at the sound of his entrance into the RV, and her face immediately drops when she sees him practically fuming. âTyler-â she says urgently, instantly on her feet as he approaches as if sheâs about to defend herself. But he isnât having any of it.
âYou wanna tell me what the hell you were thinking out there?â He seethes, suddenly towering over her with his jaw clenched and hands on his hips. She swallows thickly, nervous around this version of him. Terrified to have upset him, disappointed him.
âTyler, I promise, I was just trying to do the right thing-â she starts again, her tone practically pleading, but he just scoffs. ïżŒïżŒ
âThe right thing?â He questions in disbelief, cutting her off with a shake of his head. âYou call nearly getting yourself killed in the field âdoing the right thingâ?â
She squeezes her eyes shut at the reminder of what sheâd done, at the venom in his voice thatâs ordinarily so gentle when directed at her. Memories of what had transpired nearly 20 minutes ago flood her mind and she feels a lump forming in her throat.
âI couldnât let our data get lost,â she whispers weakly, her gaze glued to the floor in shame. âBullshit,â he mutters, jaw clenched as his breath picks up. His eyes search her face, grasping to understand why the hell she had risked her life the way she had.
âYou donât run into the path of an incoming EF3 to recover some stupid equipment for our disruption research,â he practically spits, his voice growing louder, more emotional.
âThat equipment is completely replaceable. You sure as hell arenât. So I want to know why on godâs green earth you thought it was a good idea to run headfirst into danger like that.â
Her breath hitches, her eyes welling up with unshed tears at the reminder of her brashness. She feels ashamed and almost embarrassed as Tyler practically berates her.
They were best friends, a pair that the rest of the team liked to call the âdynamic duo.â With a shared passion for tornadoes and a taste for danger, they had instantly clicked from the moment they met during a chase a few years ago, becoming inseparable. Which is why Tylerâs harsh reminder of her stupidity stung so painfully.
She wasnât used to hearing him so upset, so emotional in the worst way. With her, his tone was always soft, teasing, sometimes so overtly flirty that it would leave her heart pounding and her cheeks flushed.
But this was different. Now his gaze was harsh, curses unnaturally tumbling from his lips as she struggled to explain herself. And she hated every moment of his scrutinizing stare.
âYouâve worked so hard on putting together the equipment for the disruption research. I didnât want you to have to start from scratchâŠnot after all the effort you went through,â she explains pathetically, her voice cracking slightly as her emotions begin to shine through.
Tyler shakes his head, stepping even closer into her space. âAnd you thought it was worth risking your life for?â He grits out, his furrowed brow and downturned lips looking so unnatural on his normally smiling face.
Another shuddering breath escapes her as she catches herself from revealing the true reason sheâd been so careless, from baring her soul and telling him that sheâd run into the path of an incoming tornado because she loved him more than anything. That the thought of his disappointed face, his devastation over months of work lost to an unpredictably large tornado, hurt her so much that she would have done anything to save that equipment.
Anything to make him happy, to be the hero that he was to her.
âI- I didnât get hurt, I knew I had time to get at least some of it-â she stammers, but she canât get the words out.
âYou didnât have time!â He practically yells, gripping her shoulders and giving her a gentle shake. His eyes are wide, his gaze burning as he stares down at her.
âIf Boone hadnât been close by with his truck, you couldâve easily not made it. You couldâve died,â he chokes out, his grip on her tightening. His eyes are watering now, his anger fizzling out into something more desperate, more panicked.
Tyler still remembers the pure, unadulterated fear heâd felt as she slipped out of the safety of his truck before he could stop her, sprinting out into the open field where the winds and torrential rain were getting worse by the second.
He remembers the devastated scream of her name that had ripped itself from his chest, lost to the howling winds.
He sure as hell canât forget the feeling of overwhelming fear and helplessness that overtook him when the rain became so intense that he could not longer see her, no longer assure himself that she hadnât been sucked up into the raging funnel or hurt by the flying debris.
It was only when he got radio confirmation from Boone five minutes later, stating that she was safe in their truck with some of the equipment intact, that he even knew she was alive.
It had been the most hopeless, terrifying five minutes of his life.
âDonât you understand what you mean to everyone? What you mean to me?â He rasps, his voice quieter now, more broken. âSome stupid equipment for an experiment isnât worth your life, Y/N. Not in the least.â
His eyes are tender now as they rake over her face, scanning the scrapes and cuts littering her cheeks, the patch of dried blood clinging to her temple. His heart aches at the thought of her getting hurt, even if the injuries are small.
She notices that nearly all of his anger has left his body, replaced by the emotion that had truly been brewing beneath the surface: crippling fear at the possibility of losing her.
A silent tear runs down her face at his softer, more vulnerable words, her heart breaking as she realizes the effect her thoughtless actions have had on the man she loves. Heâs quick to gently wipe it away with the pad of his thumb, his touch lingering on her cheek as he gazes at her.
âIâm sorry,â she whispers, her voice breaking as she chokes back a sob. In an instant, heâs enveloping her in his tight, comforting hold, cradling her head to his chest and pulling her so close to him that their bodies are practically molded together.
âShhhâŠitâs alright, sweetheart,â he gently hushes, his hand stroking through her hair as she cries softly against him. Heâs back to himself now, all anger and frustration long abandoned in favor of his naturally calm, caring demeanor. Through her tears, she feels herself flushing slightly at his term of endearment.
âIâm the sorry one. I shouldnât have yelled at ya, you didnât deserve it,â he murmurs into her ear, his arms tightening around her.
He internally berates himself for defaulting to anger when she had also probably been scared and upset. But thinking she had died in that tornado just for attempting to recover his equipment had struck something so deep within him that his brain had reacted irrationally.
He stews in his remorse for a moment longer before admitting a truth that might be a little too vulnerable, a little too revealing of his deep and unwavering love for her, but he has to get it off his chest.
ââŠYou just scared me half to death, darlinâ. I canât lose you...I canât. It would tear me apart worse than a damn tornado ever could.â His whispered words are so raw and tinged with devastation that her breath hitches against his chest.
Slowly, she peels herself away from his comforting embrace to get a good look at him, and what she finds makes her heart clench in her chest. ïżŒ
ïżŒHis eyes are red and glassy, obvious signs that heâd been crying. His muscles are taught with anxiety, like every fiber in his body had been tense ever since she fled his truck. His hair is slightly tousled and she instantly knows heâd been running his hand through it the way he does when heâs stressed.
The thought that she could cause him this much worry, this much pain, sucks the breath from her lungs and makes her feel dizzy.
âI only tried to save the equipment because I knew how important the research was to you,â she whispers, her voice still shaky but full of sincerity.
âI know how much it means to you, finding a way to keep these tornadoes from causing so much damage to innocent lives. I just- I wanted to do something brave and selfless for you, the way you always have for me,â she admits softly, swallowing as she meets his gaze.
His lips part slightly at her admission, the reverence in her words staggering. Hearing that she cares for him, finds him brave and selfless, wants to return the way he makes her feel, fills his heart with a love so deep he feels like heâs drowning in it.
âY/N, youâre-â he rasps, pausing to clear his throat when he hears how raw and weak his voice sounds.
âYouâre so damn sweet. Your heart is so big. Thatâs what I love about you. But please, donât be as stupid as me. I throw myself headfirst into danger so much because I donât think firstâŠmy judgement gets clouded by the thought of helping someone and I get tunnel vision. Which has put me in one too many potentially life-ending scenarios,â he murmurs, his hands squeezing her slightly as they rest on her shoulders.
âI canât- I wonât let you be that careless. You mean too much to me.â
Her eyes widen at the tenderness in his voice, the affection and worry dripping from every word. It feels like their conversation is breaching on something deeper, something much more vulnerable and terrifying.
Her mind is hung up on his soft thatâs what I love about you. Even hearing the word love directed at her from the mouth of Tyler Owens makes her head spin and her face heat up, and sheâs unsure if sheâs even breathing anymore.
âTylerâŠâ she manages, her voice threatening to break with the overwhelming swirl of emotions running through her. She canât help herself, knows that sheâs finally going to put it out there, tell him how she feels no matter how scary it might be.
âI love-â his lips are on hers before she can even finish. The sensation of Tyler kissing her is unlike anything sheâs ever felt, and sheâs damn sure she never wants him to stop.
His large hand tenderly cups her cheek while the other snakes into her hair, tangling his fingers through the strands as he pulls her even closer. She gasps softly as his grip tightens, his lips moving against her own with an almost feral desperation.
The salt from her tears mixes with his sweet taste â something like honey and peppermint â and she melts further into him and his warmth. She can feel him pour every ounce of his turbulent, pent-up emotions into the kiss, and it leaves her completely breathless.
Heâs waited for this moment for so long, and after thinking heâd lost her today, heâd be content to just kiss her like this for the rest of time. Reassuring himself thatâs sheâs still there, that sheâs his. Showing her what she means to him.
Finally getting a grip on his emotions, Tyler pulls away for a moment, wanting to make sure he hasnât misread the signs, misinterpreted what heâd felt brewing between them for so long.
But a wide, disbelieving grin spreads across her face as she fights to catch her breath, and he suddenly has no doubt that sheâs been his all along.
âIâve been waiting for that for- well, I donât even know how long,â she laughs breathlessly, slightly woozy from his intoxicating taste.
He huffs a laugh in return, his eyes shining with an overwhelming adoration for the woman before him. âYeahâŠI think Boone might owe Dexter and Lily some money,â he jokes softly, his thumb gently brushing her rain-soaked hair away from her face.
His eyes roam over her, taking in every inch of her muddy clothes, her scraped up hands, the shallow cut on her temple. Regret courses through him at the way heâd raised his voice at her, even if it had been out of fear of losing her.
âAre you sure you werenât hurt?â He murmurs, his voice lower and more serious than before. She gently nods, her hand moving to rest on top of his own as it cups her face.
âIâm ok, promise. Itâs just a little scrape from slipping in the mud,â she reassures him, sensing his lingering gaze on her slightly bloodied face. She can practically feel the apprehension in his stare, his constant worry for her well-being so endearing that she just wants to kiss him again and again.
âI promise, Ty. And I swear, I wonât do anything like that again. I just got lost in the moment and didnât think before acting.â He nods slowly, letting the sincerity in her voice wash over her and comfort his racing mind. ïżŒ
âYouâd better not,â he teases softly, a ghost of a smile pulling at his lips. âIf weâre doing this thing, no more running headfirst into tornadoes, you hear? Canât have my girl acting like an irrational daredevil like me. Iâve been told sheâs smarter than that.â
She feels herself blushing as he calls her his girl, the title rolling off his tongue so naturally that it makes her heart skip a beat. Tyler watches as a hearty laugh escapes her and she leans into his touch, his own smile growing wider.
Suddenly nothing else has ever mattered beyond this moment of her in his arms, blushing and laughing like heâs the funniest damn man in the world.
âOk, alright,â she giggles with feigned exasperation. âNo more running into tornado paths, I swear. Wranglerâs honor. But you have to swear it too. Youâre an adrenaline junkie and a trouble maker, even more than I am.â
He chuckles at her playful jab, his body feeling lighter than it has all day as he finally lets the tension within him fade. Sheâs safe, he tells himself over and over. Sheâs alive, sheâs teasing him like she always does, and sheâs got him smiling like a damn fool.
âBaby,â he mutters with that teasing glint in his eye, âyou need to get my head checked if I ever run away from you and into a tornado. No man in his right mind would leave a gorgeous thing like you for some wind.â
Before she can reply to his ridiculous comment, he captures her lips once more with his own, relishing in the way she smiles against him as he pulls her closer.
This is all Tylerâs ever wanted - all heâs ever needed. Just her, safe and sound, loving him in all his flaws and worry for her.
If her running into that damn field led to this moment, this reality where sheâs finally his, then so be it. Heâs never been more grateful for a tornado.

The fans of the triplets simply adored Y/N and Chris together, and that wasn't news. The number of comments and likes doubled whenever the girl appeared with her boyfriend in a random picture in a photo dump on Instagram or when her voice sounded in the background of a video.
But what they loved most was when a cute moment of the two of them together was captured during a video on the Sturniolo channel or in a fraction of seconds on Y/N's TikTok, and they made this clear by making thousands of compilations of these little moments, long enough to even post on YouTube.

8 minutes of cute moments between Chris Sturniolo and his girlfriend, Y/N.
1st minute:
The triplets and Y/N were walking down the sidewalk near the arena in Boston, where they played hockey with Nate.
Nick was recording himself with his phone, talking about how he had almost slipped on the ice several times, when Chris and Y/N's voices sounded, interrupting him. He focused the front camera on the two behind him, surreptitiously recording them.
"... But baby, it wasn't my fault." Y/N complained, her lips forming a pout as her eyes focused on the floor.
"Babe, I asked you to record the game, right?" Chris asked, an amused smile on his face.
They walked side by side, the girl's right arm around her boyfriend's slightly sweaty waist, while Chris's left arm rested on Y/N's shoulders, his fingers caressing her left bicep lightly.
"Yes, and I recorded it!" Her voice came out high-pitched.
"Okay, and how many times did I make a goal?" The boy asked again, raising his right eyebrow.
"Three." Y/N replied in an obvious tone, raising her eyes to look into the blue ones she loved so much. "You kissed me every time you did it." She smiles proudly.
"Yes, and how many of those three did you record?"
"None." She looked down again, her pout deepening. "But-"
Chris threw his head back, his laughter echoing through the night, interrupting his girlfriend's defense.
He leaned down slightly, sealing his lips over Y/N's head, an amused smile still on his face. Oh, how he loved his girlfriend.

2nd minute:
The triplets were filming the video "A night at the North Pole with Larray and Nai!". The camera was positioned in a strategic point so that the lens captured all the camping items around the room, as well as the brothers and the two guests.
Y/N was in her shared room with Chris, already dressed in her - his - pajamas and with her skincare done, ready for bed. But sleep never came.
She knew she had trouble sleeping without Chris after her body got used to the boy's presence pressed against hers every night for 5 years, so her mind didn't seem to give in, begging for the warmth that Chris's larger body provided.
After a few long minutes of turning from side to side, Y/N gave up trying. Sleep was taking over her, and she was feeling more and more stressed for not being able to go into dream land, so she decided to just go to her boyfriend.
Y/N rose from the bed, their duvet wrapped around her body like a cape. Her hands reached for the handle of the white door, closing it behind her and climbing the stairs in slow, silent steps caused by the fluffy socks that covered her feet.
Larray was the first to notice her - sitting facing the top of the stairs. He smiled, amused by his friend's condition; her eyes slightly closed from sleep, her hair high in a messy bun, and her hands gripping the edges of the duvet tightly.
Not many seconds passed, and Y/N's figure was finally caught by the camera, the girl having entered the frame.
"Hey, zombie girl." Nick joked when he noticed her, raising his eyebrows in amusement.
Y/N completely ignored him, walking towards her boyfriend from behind the triplets, not wanting to step on the food that was on the floor between the five of them.
Chris's face automatically lit up when he noticed her after hearing his brother, a big smile taking over as his eyes sparkled. He opened his arms, already waiting for his girlfriend's next move.
The girl smiled lazily back, planting her feet on the floor on either side of her boyfriend's hips, before lowering herself with Chris's help, sitting on his lap.
The brunette quickly wrapped her in his arms, surrounding her torso covered by the fluffy duvet. He hugged her tightly, laying his head in the crook of her neck and exhaling the sweet scent of her shampoo momentarily, before resting his chin on her shoulder, being able to see everything in front of him.
"Sleep, pretty girl."

3rd minute:
Chris was playing Fortnite live on Twitch. His camera was on and focused on his upper body. His head was covered by the hood of his hoodie, pressed against his ears by the headphone, from where muffled sounds from the video game were coming out.
Within 30 minutes of streaming, Y/N's figure shyly appeared behind Chris. Her hands held a tray with some snacks and an already opened can of Pepsi.
She walked towards her boyfriend, curving her spine slightly forward so that her face came into his field of vision, alerting him to her presence.
The boy's blue eyes widened in excitement almost instantly, a smile stretching across his face as his right hand worked on pausing the game, using the soles of his feet against the floor to turn his body towards her.
"Hi bubba, I just came to drop off some snacks for you. It's been a while since you had dinner, I thought you could be hungry." Y/N counted in a low tone, momentarily forgetting that Chris's headphones were of the highest quality, meaning it caught her every word.
The couple didn't notice the chaos in the chat, too focused on each other.
Chris bit his lower lip in an attempt to stop his smile from growing any wider, taking the tray from Y/N's hands and placing it on the free space on his computer desk.
He lifted his chin slightly in the air so that he brought his lips closer to hers, sealing them in a quick kiss, his eyes shining with intense love.
"Thank you, babe." Chris thanked in an equally low tone, adjusting himself in his chair again, ready to go back to playing.
Y/N smiled, caressing his shoulder lightly before turning to leave the room.
"I love you." The brunette shouted quickly before his girlfriend could close the door, receiving an "I love you more" in return.

4th minute:
The triplets and Y/N were at an Italian restaurant, having decided to go out to dinner together that day.
Y/N was talking to Matt about one of the random facts that the boy knew and blurted out of nowhere, the two deeply involved in the conversation.
The dishes had just been delivered by the waiter, who placed them respectively in front of the person who ordered, leaving shortly afterward.
Chris quickly pulled Y/N's plate towards himself, grabbing his own knife and fork and cutting the sirloin steak into small pieces and separating them from the pasta, knowing how much his girl hated cutting meat and how she always ate too quickly.
What he didn't notice was that Nick took out his phone the moment he started the gesture, closely recording his brother cutting his girlfriend's food, practicing the act of service.
After finishing, Chris lightly pushed the plate in front of his girl, turning around to start eating his own.
The girl smiled shyly, turning to Chris momentarily, sealing her lips over his cheek before murmuring a "thank you, babe" against his skin, turning her attention back to Matt.

5th minute:
The triplets were in their car, recording another car video. Y/N was their special guest, sitting in the backseat next to Chris, who chose to sit there just to be close to his girlfriend.
Y/N had just taken a bite of the pepperoni pizza that Nick took from the trunk, finishing chewing quickly so she could bring her point of view on something Nick was saying, gesturing with her right hand while her left held the piece carefully.
Chris watched her closely, his eyes fixed on her side profile as he listened, nodding his head.
Something the fandom loved was how Y/N was the only person Chris didn't interrupt all the time, showing himself completely interested in hearing anything his girl was saying, regardless of whether it made sense or not.
At one point, the boy lowered his eyes, stretching his right arm and taking one of the napkins that was on the car console, bringing it to Y/N's mouth, lightly wiping the corner of her lip that was dirty with sauce, but without interrupting her.
Chris folded the napkin, leaving it on his lap, knowing he would have to use it again soon.
ăăăăăàŒ»ïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄàŒș
6th minute:
"Look, boys, learn from Chris how to treat a girl right." Nick whispered from behind his phone.
He was standing behind the kitchen table, holding his cell in his right hand, the rear camera focused on the living room couch, where Y/N was.
The girl was lying on her side, her knees bent so that her thighs touched her chest. Her back was facing the room, while her face was lightly pressed against the back of the couch. A Fresh Love sweatshirt set covered her body, keeping her warm.
Small sighs escaped her half-open mouth, her eyes moving behind her eyelids, showing how deep her sleep was.
Chris, who was sitting with her feet on his lap seconds ago, was now standing in front of the couch, curving his spine down so that he could reach his girlfriend, slowly passing his arms under her neck and bent knees, pulling her up.
On instinct, Y/N raised her left arm, surrounding Chris's neck and laying her head on his chest, waking up for just a few seconds, caressing his covered skin with the tip of her nose.
"Shh, sleep baby. I'm right here." Chris murmured in a low tone, sealing her forehead lightly, stopping his movements as he watched her close her eyes again, falling back to sleep.
Chris moved slowly, hugging Y/N's body against his as he walked towards the stairs, not noticing Nick recording them from afar.
ăăăăăàŒ»ïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄàŒș
7th minute:
Y/N was sitting on the puff in front of her makeshift dressing table. Her phone was resting on it horizontally while her front camera recorded herself.
She was talking about the new trend in the fashion world, having as a hobby making videos for TikTok about fashion and makeup. While the girl explained in detail, her hands worked on doing her nighttime skincare, gesturing, and changing products alternately.
Chris's figure appeared behind her a few seconds after she started it, his hands holding Y/N's hairbrush. He was already ready to sleep, his eyes half closed with sleep and his hair slightly messy.
A habit created by the couple was that, while Y/N did her skincare before bed, Chris would carefully comb her hair, having always had a great love for her locks.
The boy approached his girlfriend, smiling quickly at the camera before stopping behind Y/N. His free hand parted her hair so he could comb it without hurting her or leaving any part behind.
Chris raised his hand with the hairbrush, starting to do it gently, untangling the knots created throughout the day and aligning the strands.
His eyes met Y/N's from time to time through the mirror, a small smile resting on his lips, adorning his passionate features.
ăăăăăàŒ»ïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄàŒș
8th minute:
It was the Versus Tour; Matt, Chris, and Nick were playing the last round of Giant Jenga when Chris spotted a fan with a sign held up.
"Wait, before we continue, can I read a sign from a fan real quick?" The brunette interrupted the group, holding his microphone with his right hand and pointing at the crowd with his left one, receiving absurdly loud screams in response.
Matt shrugged, looking at Nick, who nodded, making a go-ahead gesture with his hands.
"Hi! Can I read your sign?" Chris turned back to the audience, pointing to a specific girl. The girl's eyes widened, her mouth opening in shock at being noticed by her idol, taking a few seconds to finally nod her head repeatedly. "Your sign says, "I'm only here for Y/N"-"
Loud screams interrupted Chris, fans going wild at the mention of his girlfriend's name. The brunette took the microphone away from his mouth, laughing in disbelief and looking at a specific area on the right side of the stage.
A fan, who was in the audience and recording the moment, focused the rear camera of her phone on the place where Chris looked, being able to capture the figure of Y/N, who was laughing loudly and clapping her hands in amusement, shaking her head.
"Well, I can't judge you. Everywhere I am, I only go for Y/N, too." Chris muttered into his microphone again, laughing as he received even louder screams in response.
His eyes met his girlfriend's, throwing an air kiss and an "I love you" with just a movement of his lips, before turning his attention back to the game.
ăăăăăàŒ»ïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄïčĄàŒș
Extra minute:
The triplets and Y/N were at their house with Nate and Madi. Everyone was in the living room, talking about random topics while a movie played on the television at low volume, serving as ambient sound. Some board games were scattered on the floor, next to unopened or already eaten snacks.
Chris was sitting on a puff in front of the big windows while Y/N was on his lap. She had her legs thrown to one side while her torso was on the other, sitting sideways on Chris's thighs with her right shoulder resting on his chest.
Chris's arms encircled her body, his right one holding her waist while his left one caressed her thighs lightly.
The girl was talking about a situation she witnessed between a group of third-party friends, always keeping her boyfriend updated on the gossip.
What they didn't know was that Madi was recording their cute moment.
As Y/N spoke, Chris looked into her eyes intently, his gaze so full of love that Madi thought she could see hearts in the place of his pupils.
The brunette nodded from time to time, making it clear that he had his attention on her and understood everything she was saying, an almost imperceptible smile resting on the corner of his lips.
The two seemed to be surrounded by a bubble created just for them, the entire outside world completely forgotten.
That was their dynamic, and the triplets fandom loved it.

chris & matt sâ positions and places.
-HEADCANONS.
Author's note: yes, fav positions in secs. Just because I can't get some images out of my head.
Warnings: smut, obviously. Juat filthy smut, smut, smut. Minors dni!
doggystyle.. he loves, loves, loves watching your ass bounce as he's pounding into you. He'd grab and squeeze it, smack it every now and then, letting you push back against him as he stays still, "come on, baby, move."
â â
C H R I S
reverse cowgirl.. again, he loves your ass. He loves watching you work for it while he stays still and speeds up only when he feels like you're going too slow. He'd grab a fistful of hair and push your head back while bucking his hips to thrust into you harder, "you like that, ma?"
table/counter sex.. Chris is the kind of guy that would take you anywhere, anytime. I feel like he'd just see you cooking and immediately just grab you, lifting you up to make you sit on the table. He'd eat you out first, sloppy and hungry and passionate, and then fuck you then and there, "you look and taste fucking delicious."
pool/beach sex.. as I said, he'd take you anywhere. He wouldn't be able to see you in bikini without touching you, "you can't do this to me, babe." He'd push you against the wall of the pool and push your bikini to the side, rubbing his clothed cock against you, making sure no one's really looking. Not that he cares.
head.. he loves giving, as much as receiving. But he absolutely fucking loses it when you, out of nowhere, get on your knees and suck him off. Like when he's doing work, or playing, and you're just on your knees, sucking him off, spitting on it, distracting him completely. He'd tease your nipples and pinch them to push you closer and take him in deeper, "that's it.. fuuuuck."
â
M A T T
missionary.. Matt absolutely loves keeping eye contact while fucking you senseless. He'd want to see you losing it, to see your eyes roll to the back of your head, unable to have control over anything, "keep looking at me, pretty. Or I'll stop. And you don't want that, do you?"
cowgirl.. he'd sit up, back against the headboard so that he can see you better; he needs to see your tits bounce. He'd never let you do a thing â digging his long fingers into your hips, he'd keep you in place and fuck you mercilessly, "you're so pretty. Fuck."
against the wall.. he just loves wrapping his fingers around your neck while he's balls-deep inside of you, your legs wrapped around his slim waist, "take it, baby, take it". He'd press his forehead against yours and thrust into you deep, and hard.
car sex.. do I even have to say anything? He loves his car so much, but he loves pleasuring you more. While driving around, he'd order you take your panties off and spread your legs wide for him. He'd lick his fingers and touch you in such a delicate way, pushing his fingers inside of you gently while keeping his eyes on the road. Then, he'd stop the car somewhere private, not able to control himself, and push his pants down, making you straddle his lap and sit on his cock with his fingers still wrapped around the steering wheel, "that's my girl.."
shower sex.. that's the only time he'd have you facing the other way. He'd push you against the glass of the shower, if anyone were to see you, they'd see your tits and cheek pressed against it. His fingers would wrap themselves around your neck and push your head back as he pounds into you. He'd make you arch your back so much that even in that position, he'd still see you, even upside down, "gonna cum all over me, doll?"
Chat. I am not okay.

risk it all for you
pairing: tyler owens x reader
summary: you and tyler have liked each other since high school. but you both may have waited too long to tell each other, which leads to a pretty nasty fight between the two of you. thatâs when a storm comes.
word count: 3.7k
a/n: ended up being so much longer than i thought it would, but had a blast writing for everyoneâs favorite tornado cowboy
The comforting scent of burning wood filled your lungs as you sat by the campfire. You didnât even notice the smile that was glued to your face as you looked around.
The recent storms had brought in all kinds of visitors, hoping to witness a tornado up close and personal. It was the end of a busy day, and all the chasers were camping out in the parking lot of the motel they were staying at.
Tyler, your best friend since high school, had invited you to the bonfire. Tyler had always been the adrenaline junkie, not you. Chasing tornadoes was his thing, and you were glad to let him have it all to himself.
You were currently sitting in the back of Tylerâs truck waiting for him to bring you back a beer.
âSo, youâre telling me you and Tyler have never gone for a ride?â One of Tylerâs friends continued to pester you. You quickly shook your head. You couldnât bear the thought of risking your life like that. âNever, you all can keep your tornadoes. I am happy staying at home and hearing the stories.â You replied.
âNobody said I was talking about tornadoes.â He retorted. The whole group erupted into laughter. Your cheeks heated up at the implication. It wasnât like youâd never thought about it. You definitely had.
You heard a few rogue whistles. âAlright, thatâs enough.â You heard a low voice say beside you. You turned to look over your shoulder and saw Tyler with two beers in hand.
âHere you go, sweetheart. Donât let âem bother you too much.â He said, handing the bottle over to you. He jumped up to sit next to you on the tailgate. Even after being friends for years, you still sometimes got butterflies when you hung out with him.
âI mean, you canât blame them. Itâs a complete mystery how weâve managed to stay just friends. I mean, you are just so hot and irresistible. I donât know how any girl could stay friends with the infamous Tyler Owens.â You sarcastically teased him.
He nearly spit out his beer as he laughed at your joke. Whenever Tyler laughed at your jokes, it was like a little ego boost.
Many people had prodded over the years and asked you and Tyler why you never dated. Every time you gave a sarcastic response to the questions, Tyler fell a little harder for you.
Tyler leaned against you, clinking his bottle against yours. His arm pressed up against yours. Heat radiated off his skin. You hadnât realized how cold you were. Tyler noticed too.
âOh hang on, here take this,â he said, grabbing a blanket from behind him. He carefully wrapped it around your shoulders, so it would keep you warm.
You could smell his cologne on the blanket. If you closed your eyes, you could pretend you were wrapped up in his arms.
âSo, Tyler, if you two arenât together, are you seeing anybody else?â One of the girls sat around the fire asked Tyler. You instantly felt your stomach drop. Youâd watched girls flirt with Tyler for years, but it never got easier. You faked a smile, but inside, you had a pit in your stomach.
âWhy you wanna know? You want me all to yourself?â Tyler jokingly flirted back.
It was no secret that Tyler was a flirt. It never meant anything more to him. It was always just a flirty comment. But you still got jealous. You knew you and Tyler couldnât have any kind of flirtatious relationship.
The girl pretended to fan herself and blew a kiss towards Tyler. Everyone was laughing at the silly exchange. You just couldnât do it.
You set down the blanket and hopped down off the tailgate. âI gotta get something out of my car.â You lied, since everyoneâs eyes were glued on you. Jealousy was written all over your face. It didnât take a genius to figure it out.
They all went back to their conversations as you walked away. You wiped away the tear that was rolling down your cheek.
You heard a heavy pair of footsteps behind you. âWait up. Where ya goinâ?â He asked. You both knew you werenât just âgetting something out of your car.â
âAnywhere but here, Tyler,â you said. You continued walking and refused to look back at Tyler. You knew if you looked at him, youâd melt and lose the courage to leave. Tyler could convince you to do anything, and all it took was the twinkle in his eye.
You reached out to open your car door. Tyler smacked his hand against the door, pushing it closed. The loud slam caused you both to jump. It hadnât been so aggressive in his head.
He mumbled a quick âsorryâ and then squeezed himself between you and the car, his back pressed up against the car door.
You focused your eyes on the ground. You refused to look him in the eye.
âWhatâs goinâ on? Are you mad at me?â He asked you. You rolled your eyes and huffed. He waited for you to answer as you stubbornly crossed your arms. âIâm not mad at you, Ty. I just want to leave.â You said, with your eyes still glued to the ground.
He grabbed your chin and forced you to look at him. You bit your tongue, trying to remain assured. Tyler had to resist the urge to laugh at how much effort it was taking you to keep a serious face.
âReally? Cause it looks like youâre mad at me. In fact, it looks like youâre a little jealous.â He said, smirking down at you. He moved his hand from your chin to brush a piece of hair behind your ear.
You pushed him off of you and took a step back. âOh, really? Is it that obvious?â You said, hitting his arm. He cocked his head to the side. He was expecting you to deny it, and he was a little shocked when you didnât.
âSo, you are feelinâ a little jealous? Why didnât you just tell me?â He said, taking a small step towards you. He was wearing the same cocky smile that he always had plastered on his face.
âDo you know how hard it is to see you flirt with every girl you meet?â You asked. He furrowed his brow as he tried to figure out why you were so frustrated. To him, it seemed like there was a very simple solution.
He let his hand rest on your waist, softly toying with the fabric of your shirt. âWell, sweetheart, if you wanted me, you could have just told me. Iâm right here for you to take.â He told you, genuinely. Hearing those words come out of his mouth made your stomach do flips.
âItâs different with me and you. We canât flirt the way you do with those girls.â You told him. You could feel yourself starting to give into his touch, as you leaned in closer to him. âI see no reason why we canât, sweetheart.â He said, looping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him.
You could feel your heart pounding. You had to remind yourself to breathe. His cologne was enveloping all your senses. Your eyes were stuck on his.
âCause with them, itâs casual. But weâve been friends for years, so it could never be casual. It would have to be all or nothing. It would have to be this serious thing, or weâd risk our entire friendship.â You told him, your voice coming out as a whisper. He ran his fingers through your hair. He couldnât help but admire you under the moonlight.
âI never claimed to want something casual with you, sweetheart.â He told you. You could feel goosebumps spread down your arms as he looked at you like you were his everything.
You had to pull yourself out of it. You were getting dragged in. âWe canât be together, Tyler.â You said, pulling yourself out of his grasp. You noticed his slight frown as you slipped out of his arms.
âWhy not? I think we both know weâd be great together.â He tried to convince you. He didnât know why you seemed so hesitant when you both knew the feelings were mutual.
He could see the sadness on your face. You wanted to be with Tyler, but you knew it wouldnât work. âI would always end up as your second priority. It would ruin us, and weâd never be able to be friends again.â You told him. Your emotion was clear in your voice.
He cocked his head to the side in confusion. That was the last thing he expected you to say. He never thought he struggled at showing you how important you were to him.
âWhat do you mean? Nobody comes before you. Nobody ever has. Iâve always put you first.â He told you. He was practically begging you for answers. He wanted to know how to assure you.
âOwens, Iâm not talking about a person. Iâm talking about all of this.â You said, looking around you both. There were storm chasers camping out for as far as you both could see. âWhat are you saying? That we canât be together because I chase tornadoes?â He asked, starting to raise his voice.
You both were very stubborn people, so it was gradually turning into more of an argument.
âIâm saying youâd always have one foot out the door. And at the drop of a hat, youâd be racing out to risk your life. I canât be wondering if youâre gonna come home. But, I know how much you love what you do.â You told him. Your voice cracked, and Tyler stepped forward to try to comfort you.
You put your hands up to stop him. He swore under his breath. He was seeing how determined you really were. He was becoming less confident that you could convince you otherwise.
âWell maybe I love you more.â He said.
The thought of losing you was enough to finally push him to confess how he really felt about you. He saw your eyes soften. Those were the words youâd always dreamed of hearing Tyler say.
You felt your heart break when you realized they didnât change anything. âOh, come on, Tyler. Itâs not fair to throw out words that you canât back up with any commitments.â You said.
Tyler was becoming more frustrated as he felt you drifting further and further away. âDonât push me away. Youâve known me for years. You know me better than anyone. You know Iâm not reckless. A risk taker? Yes, but Iâm careful enough to stay safe. Because Iâve got someone to come home to.â He told you.
You tried to take a deep breath, but all you could focus on was the broken expression on Tylerâs face. âTyler, Iâve seen you chase tornadoes for years. Iâve seen how much you light up when you talk about it. I know how much you love it. Itâs inspiring, it really is, but itâs also the reason you canât make a long-term commitment to anything or anyone else.â You told him, honestly.
Tyler shook his head, looking down at the ground. You were technically right. He had trouble making commitments. But it wasnât because of how much he loved storm chasing.
It was because of how much he loved you.
âWhat about us, huh? Weâve been friends for years. Iâve never missed a birthday or a phone call or a breakup. So, donât tell me I canât make a commitment. I have never failed to be there for you. Why would I stop if we started dating?â He snapped at you.
You flinched at how loudly he was talking. Heâd never yelled at you before. He noticed how your expression changed. You stepped backwards, putting some physical and emotional space between the two of you.
You pushed past him to open your car door. âWait, câmon, donât leave,â he begged you. He knew heâd crossed a line, and he was trying to remedy it.
âIâm not gonna stay here when youâre yelling at me like that.â You told him. He grabbed your hand and spun you around to face him. âSweetheart, Iâm sorry. I really didnât mean to. I was trying to tell you that Iâd always put you first.â He apologized, squeezing your hand. You wanted nothing more than to melt into his arms. But you couldnât.
âI canât do this right now, Tyler.â You said, pulling your hand back and getting in your car. Tyler felt a pit in his stomach as you drove off. He couldnât help but worry that heâd lost you for good.
He ran his fingers through his hair as he wondered what to do. His eyes landed on the bar across the street from the motel. He started walking in that direction. He felt stupid for being optimistic that youâd reciprocate his feelings.
His friends all called after him, having seen the whole fight go down. They all asked him where he was going, but he ignored them all. He wasnât quite ready to talk about you and have his friends tell him heâd screwed up. Because he knew that already.
So, while you drove home and started crying on your couch, Tyler went to the bar. He wasnât even really drinking that much. It was mostly just sulking.
Heâd drowned out everyone else at the bar who was partying. He was sitting at the end of the bar staring into his glass. All he could think about was how hurt you looked when he yelled at you.
He wanted to pull you into his arms and apologize over and over until you forgave him.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a news alert playing on the television above the bar. His eyes darted up to the screen and saw âMultiple Tornado Spottingsâ. He realized your house was right in the middle of the storms.
He swore under his breath and raced towards his truck. Fueled by adrenaline, he sped towards your house. He had the pedal pushed down as far as it would go.
Nothing motivated Tyler more than the thought of you being in harmâs way. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and clicked on your contact.
He anxiously tapped on the steering wheel as his phone rang. It only rang once before he got sent to voicemail. He tried to call you again, and you declined the call again.
You were oblivious to the incoming storm, and you were in no mood to talk to Tyler.
âOh, come on, sweetheart. Turn on the news, please.â He muttered to himself, praying that he could will it into existence.
Once he got to your house, he barely turned his truck off before jumping out and sprinting towards the front door.
He banged on the door with his fist. The winds were picking up around him. His adrenaline was still running high.
âGo away, Tyler.â He heard you yell from inside. He pounded on the door again. âThereâs a storm, sweetheart. We gotta get to the cellar. Itâs not safe.â He yelled through the door. He could barely hear himself over the howling wind. He quickly tapped his fingers on his leg, fidgeting as he waited for you to appear.
The door swung open. Your fear was written all over your face. Tyler grabbed your hand and pulled you with him. He glanced over his shoulder and saw a tornado forming in the distance.
The wind was blowing you both around as you raced towards the cellar. Tyler kept a tight grip on your hand. He wasnât going to let you out of his sight.
âLookout,â Tyler yelled, shielding your body with his as a dumpster went flying by you both. After it missed you both, he tugged you towards the cellar.
The cellar doors had already flung open from the wind. He grabbed your waist, pushing you inside before him. You quickly ran down to the bottom of the stairs.
âSweetheart, get me a stick or something down there or these doors wonât stay closed.â Tyler told you. He was wincing as he struggled to hold the doors closed.
You grabbed an old broomstick and handed it to him quickly. He shoved it through the handles and prayed it would hold.
âAlright, câmon, we gotta get to the back.â He said, nudging you.
âOver here,â you said, grabbing his hand and pulling him into the closet in the back of the cellar.
Tyler closed the closet door behind you both. It was a small closet. You were facing the back wall. He was covering your whole body with his. He had his hand protectively cupping the back of your head.
âKeep your eyes closed and hold on to those pipes, sweetheart.â He instructed you. You quickly nodded your head and did what he told you to do. He pressed a soft kiss to the back of your head, to try to comfort you.
You both had always had a nonverbal way of communicating. He obviously knew you were scared because who wouldnât be? But he also knew that one of your biggest fears was something happening to him while chasing a storm. And now you were wrapped up in that.
âIâve got you, sweetheart. I promise, I wonât let anything happen to you.â He assured you, holding onto you tightly.
A high pitched whistle filled the room as the wind started to pick up. You could feel the pressure envelop your whole body. Everything around you was rattling.
Up above you, you could hear thuds as the tornado flung around cars and anything else in its path. It wasnât long until you both heard the cellar doors rip open.
The howling wind got louder. It made your ears ring. Tyler tightened his grip on you as the closet doors started to shake. Your knuckles turned white as you gripped onto the pipes.
âYou promise me you wonât play hero.â Tyler yelled at you. He didnât want you to get hurt trying to save him. You furiously shook your head. âIâm not letting anything happen to you.â You yelled back.
The closet doors started shaking even more. The hinges were loudly squeaking. You just knew that the tornado was right above you.
A piece of the door ripped off and flew through the air. The air swirled around the tiny closet, making it harder to hold on.
Pieces of the door kept splintering off. One of them sliced against Tylerâs bicep, causing him to wince and bite down on his lip.
The closet doors finally swung open. With the large cut on Tylerâs arm, his grip accidentally loosened. He started getting pulled backwards. He only had one hand on the pipes. He was gripping it with all the strength he had.
You wrapped one of your arms around the pipes and the other around his waist, pulling him back into you. You buried your face into his chest.
Then, the wind almost instantly disappeared.
You both continued to hold onto each other as your adrenaline still ran high. Tyler kissed the top of your head. âItâs over, sweetheart. Weâre safe.â He whispered, still trying to catch his breath.
You both slowly pulled away from each other and leaned against opposite walls. Neither of you said a word as you tried to process what had just happened.
âYou saved my life, sweetheart.â He said, looking at you with love in his eyes. You could feel the tears start to bubble up. You were finally letting yourself acknowledge how scared youâd been, now that you werenât in danger anymore.
âI was so scared to lose you.â You whispered, your voice cracking. He pulled you into his arms, nestling his face into the crook of your neck. He softly rubbed your back. âYou did everything right, sweetheart.â He assured you.
He continued to hug you until you stopped crying. When you both pulled apart, you could see the guilt in his eyes.
âThis was all my fault.â He mumbled under his breath. You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked at him. You stubbornly shook your head. âNone of this was your fault. It was a tornado. You might be the tornado wrangler, but you canât control them.â You said, trying to cheer him up and lighten the mood.
He grabbed your hands, interlacing his fingers with yours. Neither of you wanted to keep your hands off each other. You both were still worried if you took your eyes off the other that theyâd disappear.
âI shouldnât have yelled at you back there. If I hadnât, weâd both still be at the motel. You wouldnât have been in harmâs way if it wasnât for me.â He told you, apologetically. He was realizing that his actions had put you in the wrong place at the wrong time.
âIâm sorry that I yelled at all. I wasnât mad at you. I really wasnât. I was mad at myself. You should have no reason to doubt how important you are to me. If you do, I need to fix that.â He said, squeezing both your hands. You noticed a smile start to grow on his face when you didnât pull away.
âYou never gave me a reason to doubt you. I was just scared. Weâre not all as brave as the tornado wrangler.â You teased him. He let out a soft chuckle.
It was nice to have a peaceful moment, laughing together like you always did, after a life or death scenario.
âDoes that mean?â Tyler started to ask you, a smirk beginning to grow. You just giggled and nodded your head. âYes, it means you can kiss me, cowboy.â You said, cheesily smiling at him.
He didnât waste any time grabbing your belt loops and pulling you closer to him. You cupped his face and leaned in to kiss you. You let yourself melt into the kiss. His soft lips fit perfectly against yours. Just like youâd always dreamed.
You could feel him smiling against your lips. You both pulled out of the kiss. Tyler looked at you with a look of awe. âIâve spent years wishing I could do that.â He said, smiling down at you.

âshes a pistol, ty. hope you can handle herâ javier begins, removing his sunnies and leans against his white truck while looking at tyler across the driveway of your mothers house.
tyler smiles to himself at the mention of you. he looks in his wallet, a picture of you and him at a rodeo. youâre wearing his red flannel and white cowboy hat as you kiss his cheek.
a picture he treasured most. no one knew about this picture in his wallet. it was his own little secret, you didnât even know he had the polaroid.
tyler and you both majored in meteorology throughout your time in college. storm chasers had a limited dating pool. nobody was willing to chase after these monstrous storms in such a way and then return to laugh about it over a few beers.
thatâs why he took such a liking to you.
tyler didn't try to hide his feelings first. he would constantly try to convince you to go out with him or do something else, but you would never accept his advances. you didn't believe that you could put up with his ego.
till you began chasing with him.
since then, you saw a side of him that you didnât know. tyler was a kind hearted man, caring for the people that fell victim to these storms. he was so intelligent that it made you rethink your own decisions, that was rare.
before you knew it, you started falling for tyler owens. the rest is history.
âiâm thinkin bout asking her to move in with me after we get this storm tonight.â tyler confesses to javier, a sly smirk on his face. javierâs eyebrows raise, cocking his hip to the side and crossing his arms.
âyou think sheâll say yes?â
tyler presses his lips into a thin smile, stuffing his wallet into his back pocket where it belongs. âi hope so.â he answers, looking up towards the house.
tyler had decided it was time to take the next step with you. he had been thinking about asking you to move in with him for a while now, and he was sure it was the right decision.
he loved you deeply and couldnât imagine his life without you. he wanted to wake up next to you every morning, cook breakfast together, and spend evenings cuddled up on the couch watching movies.
the thought of you living together filled him with excitement and joy, and he couldnât wait to see the look on your face when he popped the question.
âguys!â lilly hollers, exiting the rv, running towards the pair. âwe have huge activity southeast. we gotta move, now!â
thereâs a tension that settled in over the group as they all scrambled to get their things together and radars ready.
tylerâs first thought was you. he takes off, boots stomping in the puddles as he swings the screen door open.
ây/n?â he hollers, taking his sunglasses off.
âup here!â you answer, drying your hair after a shower.
you watch in the mirror as tyler appears in the doorway, âwhats up?â you ask, dropping your hand by your sides. âthereâs one southeast. big one.â heâs almost grinning hoping to get you excited but his smile drops when you donât react.
thereâs a silence as you begin to rake product through the ends of your hair. âcmon, we donât wanna miss it. lilly says itâll touch down in an hour at least.â
âmânot goinâ you reply, looking into his eyes from the mirror. âwhat? whaddya mean?â
âitâs momâ you answer, followed by a sigh. âsheâs doing bad again, sheâs freaking out over it and iâm just gonna stay with her. the house isnât in the path so it should be fineâ you say, turning to him.
you can see a soft frown on his lips as he looks down at you, âwe always chase together.â
you smile sadly, and nod. you let your hand come up and caress his cheek. âi know, darlin. weâll get the next one i promise.â
you press a quick kiss on his lips, âbe safe, baby.â he replies, kissing the top of your head and heading off with the crew.
the atmosphere was thick and heavy with a sense of impending doom as the tornado began to take shape. the clouds churned and wracked, twisting into a massive, menacing funnel cloud. the noise was deafening, a high-pitched roar that seemed to come from everywhere at once.
gusts of wind howled like a beast, tearing at anything in their path. this was no ordinary twister; this was an EF5, the most powerful and destructive tornado there was. it loomed on the horizon, a sinister harbinger of disaster.
tyler, now chasing the storm, was strapped into his well-worn red dodge. his eyes fixed on the churning sky as he chased a massive storm through the southeast landscapes. his truck was a trusted companion, having borne him through countless weather events.
its engine roared confidently as tyler navigated the treacherous terrain, seeking the perfect position to observe the storm up close and capture its raw power. he was fueled by a deep passion for the spectacle of the weather and driven by the adrenalin rush of being in the heart of the swirling chaos.
âyou seein this, T?!â boone hollers from the passenger seat. âiâm seein it boone!â he yells back, knuckles white on the steering wheel.
tyler doesnât remove his eyes from the storm raging in the wheat field, but something feels off. something isnât right.
âwhat is it, ty?â javier calls over the radio noticing his decreasing speed. tyler is too mesmerized by the black clouds, he doesnât reply. âT?â boone calls.
âsomethingâs wrong.â he mumbles, âthe path..the path is changing!â he says hurriedly watching the surroundings.
lilly pipes from the backseat, âits moving northwest! heading straight for mayberry!â
âshit.â tyler hits his steering wheel before making a sharp turn, turning around.
âthe path is shifting!â boone alerts over the radio.
tylerâs heart launched in his chest watching the twister hurtling towards the small town where you lived. heâd often worried about this, and now his worst nightmare was unfolding before his eyes.
his grip tightened on the steering wheel, and his eyes darkened as he gunned the engine, pushing the red dodge to its limits. he had to get to you, had to make sure you were safe. his mind raced as he calculated how much time he had, the seconds ticking away in an excruciating countdown.
there was no warning, the storm was moving too unpredictably. you shouldâve monitored it closer, you shouldâve been more prepared.
the house trembled violently as the tornado tore through the neighborhood.
the windows shattered, spraying glass everywhere. the walls creaked and groaned, buckling under the immense pressure of the onslaught.
pictures fell from the walls, their frames splattering on the floor. furniture was hurled around like toys, breaking apart as it smashed into the remaining walls.
âmom!â you holler, staying low to the ground reaching out for her. she takes your hand and you pull her close to your body.
âhold on tight!â you scream.
the two of you huddled together, their screams blending into the cacophony, their eyes wide with terror. outside, the world had become a blur of debris and chaos, the swirling vortex ripping everything apart in its path.
tyler stepped out of his truck followed by boone and lilly. his heart thudding heavily in his chest as he saw the destruction hoping beyond hope that she was safe. but the sight that greeted him was a nightmare. your once-cheerful home had been reduced to a pile of rubble, the remnants of your life scattered among the wreckage. the tornado had ripped through the property, leaving destruction in its wake.
the property wasnât recognizable, the only way he knew it was your home was your white jeep wrapped around the willow tree.
tylerâs hands come up and run thorough his hair, âoh god..â he breathes. âjesus christ..â boone says just above a whisper.
tyler canât let his emotions get the best of him. he needed to find you.
ây/n!â he hollers.
ây/n!â lilly screams. âms.l/nâ boone calls for your mom.
tyler pushes his way through the debris, his eyes scanning the rubble for any sign of you.
he continued to pulled lumber, pillars, glass and furniture for what felt like hours. ây/n!â his heart thudding against his chest with every moment that passed. panic clawed at his gut as he continued his desperate search.
finally, he heard a faint sound, like a whimper. he turned, and there you were, buried under a pile of rubble.
his breath caught in his throat as he carefully dug you out, his hands trembling.
as your face came into view, it was smeared with dirt and blood, but your eyes widened with relief as you saw him. ât?â you rasp.
he gently picked you up, cradling you against him like a fragile doll.
"i'm here," he whispered, his voice rough with emotion. "im here, and you're going to be okay."
you wince, standing on the unstable ground. âmom..â you croak, tears brimming down your eyes again. âsheâs down there..â
tyler nods, he looks back at boone and was about to go down and search for her but boone stops him. âi got her.â
boone disappears in the pile of rubble, then he emerges with your mother in his arms. âwe need an ambulance!â
tyler nods and leaves you with lilly to call for first responders.
ââm fine, t.â you say, say in the back of the ambulance. âjust makin sure..â he whispered taking your arm in his hands and scanning your skin. he needed to make sure you werenât seriously injured, even though you were just checked out by ems.
ât..â you sighs as he continues, his hand snow on either side of your face moving your head around still checking. âtyler.â you call him again, this time your hands gripping his wrists.
his eyes meet yours, the sign of tears still staining your cheeks. âiâm okay, i promiseâ you assure, smiling. âjus glad you made it to me, howâd you know?â
tyler shrugs, âthe wind started morning north, learned it from you.â he answers, coming to your side and pulling you in.
you stay there for a while, the sirens flooding your ears and the lights illuminating the place where your home once stood. tyler rubs your shoulders and pulls the emergency blanket tighter around your body.
you lean your head against his shoulder and wrap your arm around his. âis now a bad time to ask if you want to live with me?â he looks down at you.
âwhat?â you look up at him.
and maybe it wasnât the right time, but he didnât know if heâd ever get the chance to ask you.
âlive with me. hell, bring your mom. i donât care, just..â he reaches for your hand. âi just know that i love you and i want you around even more than you already are.â he laughs lightly, continuing to rub your shoulder.
âi would love to live with you.â
tyler smiles proudly, squeezing you closer to his side.
ânow i just needa marry you.â

breaking point
tyler owens (twisters) x reader
words: 1.6k
warnings: 18+ only, smut, female receiving oral, p in v sex, unprotected sex, mentions of past hookups, love declarations (bc i have to make all my fics at least a little fluffy)
the legendary tornado wrangler won't get on his knees for just anybody. it's a position of vulnerability, especially as his head tips forward, exposing his throat.
but you're not a predator in this moment, not with your thighs spread apart and he's smiling up at you with that shit eating grin you know all to well.
âwhatever, you win.â you sigh. âjust eat me out.â
âthat wasn't what the bet was.â tyler says with a chuckle. âwhoever breaks first doesn't get to cum.â
it was a dumb and pointless bet, but one that was needed to remind both of you that you didn't in fact completely lack control and could handle being around each other without finding somewhere to hole up and fuck, leaving rest of the crew waiting for you to finish up.
âcome on, ty.â you pout, putting on your best pleading face. âi know you wanna taste me too.â
âyou got me there.â you watch as tylers pink tongue darts out to lick his lips. âof course i could always eat you out without letting you cum.â
âwe somehow managed three whole days of teasing each other without getting an orgasm. you're really gonna deny me of that?â you pout.
âwe'll see.â tyler hums, his eyes dropping to your pussy, spread open and put on display as you're sat perched on the edge of the bed.
you're about to open your mouth to give another snarky response, or beg and plead if you have to, whatever you need to get tylers mouth on you when he suddenly surges forward, hands pressing your thighs even further apart.
his tongue swipes through your folds, over and over in quick succession, tasting every inch of you that he can while dutifully ignoring your clit, not giving you that pleasure just yet. you hope that's his only punishment for giving in.
âgod, ty.â you moan, head tipping back as one of your hands comes to the back of his head, pushing his face even further against your pussy.
âso fucking delicious.â tyler moans, his words vibrating against your wet skin.
tyler can only tease for so long, soon his mouth moves to find your clit, circling around the sensitive bud before sucking it between his lips as you shout out.
he gives you no time to adjust to the sudden pressure, knowing you've been without it for longer than he'd like, but he's still not ready to just let you get away with losing your bet.
âgod, baby.â you let yourself fall backwards onto the bed, giving up looking tyler in the eye as you continuously moan so loud you wouldn't be surprised if the people in the motel room next to you came knocking on your door to complain.
tyler grabs your thighs, keeping them pulled apart as he eats you out, greedily slurping your juices, the wet sounds filling the room.
âkeep going.â you plead, hips raising up and down, grinding yourself against his face.
tyler gives up holding your thighs open with both hands, moving his finger to your entrance, pressing against it as he wets his digit until he's able to push into you as you let out a gasp.
his fingertip is rough against your walls as he keeps his finger pushed inside, continuing to pay attention to your clit while you adjust.
âmore, ty, please.â you whine, squeezing your pussy around his digit, knowing how much that usually entices him and gets him moving along, but not today, not when you have a punishment to receive.
tylers mouth softens, making you let out an excruciating high as your previously building high slows back down, breath coming hot and fast as he begins to pump his finger in and out of you, a slow steady motion that has your hips wiggling.
âstay still or you definitely won't come.â tyler commands, squeezing at your thigh, giving you a light warning.
âfine.â you huff, deciding to try and focus on the feeling of his finger pushing out of you. it's not hard or fast enough to really send you over the edge, until suddenly a second finger is pushed inside of you.
âtyler, i can't.â you beg, resorting to using his full name.
he completely ignores you, used to your whines and begs and pleads that he always eventually gives into. you'll just finish up helping out a town hit by a tornado only to try and convince him to ditch the motel room you rented for the night and just hit up the first place he can fuck you in.
neither of you really saw it as a problem until you accidentally traumatized boone when he went to grab something out of the truck only to find you two in the backseat, thankfully still mostly clothed.
your hips rise up, unable to control them but tyler knows exactly what it signifies, able to read your body as good as his own as his mouth rips away from you, knowing that his fingers inside of you isn't enough to make you cum without some sort of attention to your clit.
âstop! please keep going!â you scream out, not caring that your begging doesn't make sense as your pussy pulsates around his fingers, desperate for an orgasm.
âyou'll get to cum tonight.â tyler says, watching you let out a breath of relief as you were starting to worry he would stick to the beg wouldn't let you at all. âbut itll be with me inside of you. and im not done playing with you yet.â
you can't even argue as his mouth pecks at your clit, licking his lips every time he kisses your skin.
his fingers move in a fury, surely imagining it was his cock buried inside of you considering he's been without it for too long. you can hardly wait to feel him properly inside of you, having been relentlessly teased, knowing he tugged his jeans a bit lower on his hips often just to give you a view of the muscular lines leading underneath his belt.
âtyâŠâ you sigh out, back arching off the bed, wondering briefly how many hotel rooms you've fucked in, if you've reached every county in oklahoma and arkansas.Â
âyeah, i know. i need you too baby.â tyler gives your clit one last hearty suck before he stands. already shirtless from when he sensually stripped to successfully get you to break first.
you sit up quickly, hands pushing his out of the way to undo his belt buckle and push his jeans down along with his underwear all in one go.
his cock springs up, having been hard and pushing against his zipper since entering the hotel room with you, knowing he'd either break or get you to break.
âlay back.â tyler says, his eyes lowering and darkening seeing your hands so close to his cock.
you move up the bed but instead of laying on your back, you flip onto your stomach and spread your legs.
âoh, like that?â you can hear the amusement in tylers voice as the bed dips as he crawls on top of it, draping himself over your body.
you think he's going to give you a minute, maybe kiss your shoulder blades and rub his cock through your folds, but his head presses against your entrance, and his length is entering you so suddenly you can't help but scream out.
âshit.â tyler cusses, pushing the rest of the way into you. he wastes no time picking up speed, deciding he's teased you long enough.
âgod, ty!â you squeal, hands gripping into the sheets as you keep your thighs spread despite the force being applied, his hips slamming forward without control, needing to wreck you, needing to take you and stake his claim on your body again.
âyou're so fucking-â tyler lets out a growl, dropping his head as he puts more weight on you. âyou're so fucking warm and wet, baby. can't wait to fill you up.â
you haven't used condoms in forever. you began hooking up with tyler and quickly got on birth control so he could cum inside you like you so desired. the first time having you raw, he didn't even last five minutes.Â
âfuck me- fuck me harder.â you squeal. âcome on, give it to me, ty.â
you can feel the switch in his body. when his powerful muscles stop holding back, slamming full force into you, knowing you can take it, the one girl he's been able to find that can handle anything he throws at.
âi love you.â tyler whispers so quietly your ears barely pick up his words.
you flip over quickly, his cock only away from you for a moment before hes fucking you again, now looking into your eyes.
âi love you too, ty.â you haven't said it before. maybe it's just in the heat of the moment, but you don't think you'll regret it later.
tyler kisses you deeply, glad you both share the feelings beyond just hooking up, knowing things will change but feeling nothing but excitement for what waking up tomorrow will look like as tyler thrusts into you.
his cock swells inside of you, the tell tale sign that hes going to cum. you quickly move a hand down your torso to rub your clit, and all it takes is tylers lips against yours and his cum releasing inside of you for you to suddenly cum as well.
you moan into each other's mouths, a mix of curses and each other's names as tyler fucks you through your highs, feeling your body shake underneath his as you wrap your arms around his shoulders and tug him into you, feeling your sensitive nipples rub against his chest.
âgod, that was good.â you giggle, breathing deeply in time with tyler as he keeps his softening cock inside of you, not ready to separate yet when your bodies are so perfectly aligned.
âwe are never going that long without making love again.â tyler says, pressing a kiss to your forehead, but it doesn't distract from the wording he chose as you smile up at him.
ânever.â you vow.

Tyler Owens and shy reader you say? Who gets flustered every time he looks at them? Who hides their face in his chest to âescapeâ his gaze? Tyler who wants to kiss her so bad and sheâs so flustered.
Hide and Seek - Tyler Owens x Reader
come participate in tyler owens night !
Seeing Tyler Owens while out pumping gas was all you'd needed to know that you weren't the type of person to be capable of dating him. He was all outgoing smiles, signatures thrown here and there to an adoring crowd, and you'd tucked your head to your chest as if it would make the tank fill faster to your rental car.
Well, truck, really, because that had been the only vehicle the agency hadn't rented out yet. You'd needed the truck for only a day, just to get to work and back when your car was in the shop, but its gaudy red exterior had caught Tyler's attention and he'd called over to you from the opposite end of the station.
"Hey there, Red. Nice truck you got."
You'd never know scrutiny like you came to know when his entire crew of both teammates and fans turned to watch you, and he seemed to realize that you weren't up for all of the attention.
"We're breaking for ten," He'd called, and evidently that was enough to let his gaggle of fans disperse until their leader was ready to rev his engine again.
He'd hopped down from his own red truck with the stomp of boots on concrete, and you turned back to the pump desperately hoping he wouldn't talk to you. Unfortunately, a group of three people, him and two of his crew, started for you. You'd felt your heart rate pick up but the second they started to move with him he'd shoved them away, a playful maneuver but one that clearly said back off. That's how he'd gotten you alone, ducking his own head to speak with you instead of looking down his nose at you.
"Sorry if I freaked you out there. Didn't mean to get'cha all that attention if you didn't want it. This yours?"
He had whacked the side of the truck so hard you'd been unsure whether the rental agency was going to return it without hassling you for damages.
After a short conversation about the perils of emergency oil changes on a Monday morning, you'd left with Tyler's number that you'd been too scared to text until three days later, as well as a nagging feeling that you were the wrong sort of person to be talking to him.
You still feel it now, when he turns over in his bed to stare at you with his pretty eyes. You feel so terribly bashful even though you've been looking into the same eyes for three months now. You feel your face heating up against his pillow, and even in his barely-awake state he knows you're getting shy when you start adjusting yourself beneath the blankets.
"You're starin' at the sheets again," He observes, a soft smile on his face, "You're tappin' out already? We just woke up."
"I'm just cold," You lie, shifting the blankets around until you can handle meeting his eyes again. When you look up they're even more intense for the grin he's giving you, kind-hearted but all-seeing.
"You're still shy, even when it's just us, darlin'?"
"I'm more shy when it's just us," You laugh, just as honest as it is shaky, "Then there's no one else you're looking at but me."
"I'm starin' at you no matter who else is in the room." He murmurs, and when it only makes your bashfulness worse, he laughs gently and reaches out to pull you across the sheets towards him.
"C'mere. Can't have you runnin' away from me this early in the mornin'."
You allow yourself to be nestled quite snugly into his chest, but before you can relax you must allow yourself a moment's more mortification when you remember that he's bare-chested in bed.
"I can feel your cheeks burnin' up," Tyler laughs, and you feel his words more than you hear them as his chest shakes with laughter against your face, "Oh, baby, you're such a sweet little thing. How long is it gonna take for you to stop blushin' when we kiss?"
"How long are you gonna stay so handsome for?" You ask meekly into his chest.
You're gently, but unceremoniously pulled from his chest as he cups your face, dipping down to nudge his nose against yours.
"You're a flirt." He accuses, grinning from ear-to-ear, "You're a bold, brazen flirt and you're hidin' behind that shy demeanor, aren't you? Shit, now you're makin' me blush, darlin'."
"It's true," You breathe, laughing along though yours is more air than sound, "I just get shy. Like I forget just how handsome you are until you stare at me and then I get all shy again."
"Can't be nearly as handsome as you are beautiful, sweet thing." He murmurs, dipping down even further to press his lips to yours, morning breath and all, "But I've got enough boldness for the both of us. So if you need to hide after every kiss," He fondly notes the way you've planted yourself back in his chest, face ablaze, "Then I'll always be there to coax you back out afterwards. Deal?"
"Deal." You decide, but you're speaking into his chest so it's muffled.
He says nothing, but you feel a soft press of his lips to the crown of your head, and his pinky reaches down to interlock with yours where it rests against his chest, a promise sealed with a kiss.

A LITTLE LIFE
pairing. tyler owens x fem!reader
summary. when a storm tyler is chasing changes course, putting you and your daughter in the direct line of danger, tyler drops everything to reach you.Â
warnings. established relationship, descriptions of injuries, reader gets hurt, angst w/happy ending.
word count. 2.7k || masterlist
You watched as Tyler slung his overnight bag over his shoulder and patted his pockets to ensure he had everything he needed for his latest storm-chasing adventure.Â
âAre you sure you have everything? Did you pack your charger? Because-â Your husband cut you off with a gentle chuckle.Â
âIt was the first thing I packed,â he said. The one time he had let his phone die while on a chase nearly sent you into cardiac arrest. He hadnât sent you his usual indication that the chase went well and he and the rest of the Wranglers were just fine. You were in a fit of panic until Lily called you with words of reassurance and a promise to scold Tyler for his forgetfulness. Since then, you always bugged him to ensure he had his charger and that he used it.Â
But he had gotten a lot better about checking in since you had your little girl. The reckless Wrangler pumped the breaks just slightly, calling every night he was away to hear the little baby babble before he fell asleep. Heâd taken a rather long break from chasing when she was born, but you knew he missed it dearly. And while youâd miss him, he promised to keep his trips to a couple days tops and heâd come home the second you felt overwhelmed or needed help, no matter the size of the storm they were after.Â
You were nervous to let him go, but you always had been. Yet, Tylerâs love for the dangerous weather wasnât something you wanted to stand in the way of. He was doing what he loved, with the people he loved even more. You were proud of him and his friends for sticking to their guns and doing everything they could to help the people affected by the storms.Â
Tyler moved to stand in front of you and your little girl, who you held on your hip. She was all smiles as Tyler kissed her cheeks. âYou keep an eye on your momma for me this weekend, okay? Sheâs a handful.âÂ
You playful rolled your eyes. âRight, because Iâm the one who refuses to sleep at bedtime.â That had been an ongoing battle. Your little girl liked to stay awake all night and nap off and on through the day, leaving you and Tyler on the backward schedule too.Â
Tyler pressed a kiss to your lips, pulling away too soon for your liking. He looked unsure of himself, eyes flickering between you and your daughter. âYou sure youâre gonna be all right?â he asked, for what had to be the hundredth time that morning. He always checked before he left, over and over again just in case you changed your mind, but you never did.Â
You placed a hand on his cheek, smiling in reassurance. âI promise,â you said.Â
He nodded, kissing you once more as he muttered, âI love you,â against your lips.Â
âI love you too.âÂ
With your babyâs backward sleep schedule, you had managed to put her to sleep by mid-afternoon. She slept soundly in her crib, and you collapsed on the couch with a tired sigh. The TV droned on, playing some old sitcom that youâve seen a million times, lulling you to sleep slowly before it overtook you completely.Â
The gentle breeze swept in through the open windows, filling your home with a springtime sweetness you thought would remain throughout the weekend, sprinkled with a few rain showers throughout. But as you slept, the pretty blue skies started to shift, changing into something much more sinister.Â
The storm was glorious. Tylerâs veins were filled with adrenaline as they followed the twister down an empty backroad, watching as it gained speed. Boone stayed steady filming it, hollering in excitement the whole time. They didnât get a chance to catch their breath until the tornado was choked out, dissipating before their eyes like it had never been there at all, but leaving behind a clear path of destruction across the open plains.Â
The weekend was supposed to host a slew of storms just north of Tylerâs home, and he and his team felt pretty good about their luck based on the first tornado they caught. Maybe it was a little superstitious, but they often used the first storm they chased as a baseline for how lucky theyâd be during that outbreak.Â
Meeting back up with the rest of the Wranglers, Tyler watched the sky with his hands on his hips, his mind split between the storms and you. Even though he had been chasing since your daughter was born, he was still a little hesitant, especially considering how much of a hassle it was to get her to sleep through the night, but you were just as supportive and wonderful as ever. His responsibility to you and your daughter was his first priority, but his responsibility to the Wrangles was second.Â
âWe got another big one brewinâ southeast,â Dexter said, eyes glued to the radar. Peering over his shoulder, Lily watched it too. The fixed small smile on her lips faltered before her brows furrowed. She patted Dexterâs shoulder to get him to step aside from the device.Â
Tyler could tell she was thinking hard about something, her lip pulled between her teeth and shoulders rolling back.Â
âLily,â Tyler said. âWhat is it?âÂ
âItâs heading right for town.âÂ
Booneâs face pinched in confusion. âWhat town?âÂ
All Lily had to do was look at Tyler before he felt a cold twist of dread overtake his body. The storm was heading straight for you.Â
You were exhausted. So much so that you didnât wake up until a loud crash jolted you out of your slumber. You shot up from the couch with a gasp, heartbeat quick in your chest. The curtains that framed the open windows whipped around wildly as a harsh wind blew through screen. It pushed over the vase of flowers that were resting on the end table in front of the window, leaving broken glass and water strewn across the floor.Â
You hurried over to the window, only to be assaulted by the violent wind and rain that seemed to be coming down sideways. Cursing under your breath, you went around the living room, closing the windows and blocking out the loud howl that rose goosebumps on your skin.Â
Thunder rumbled loudly, rattling the house and waking up the baby. You hurried down the hall, scooping up your daughter with her woven pink blanket. As you tried to calm her down, the sirens rang out with a fury.Â
Tornadoes were as common in spring as rain, but your nerves never vanished whenever the sirens sounded. You had been lucky, always just out of the direct path of the storm resulting only in a fallen tree or ruined patio furniture, but nothing too damning. Yet, you never wanted to take your chances, try to outsmart the force of nature by testing your luck. And you had another person to be responsible for. So, you grabbed the diaper bag hanging on the back of the closet and started toward the basement.Â
It was half-finished, but home to an emergency stock of supplies if worse ever came to worse during tornado season. Usually, you stayed calm during storms, either reassured by Tyler or able to talk yourself out of any worry as the storm passed by without too much rocking of the house. But Tyler wasnât there, and it was your first big storm with the baby.Â
Panic welled in your chest, pushing against your ribs as you sat on the old cot set up in the far corner of the basement, beside the shelf of food, water, and a radio. Your baby girl had stopped crying, lulled by you gently rocking her. Flipping on the radio, you listened as the weather overhead worsened. The weatherman only confirmed your fears when he listed your county as being right in the path of the increasingly powerful tornado.Â
With one hand, you fumbled around in your pockets, in search of your phone, only to realize you had plugged it in not long after Tyler left. It remained upstairs. You heard the howl of wind increase and you knew youâd missed your window to safely venture upstairs. Instead, you were stuck, huddled in the corner of the basement silently praying your luck hadnât run out and the storm would switch its path or disappear before it reached your home.Â
But your luck seemed to have run out.Â
Tyler was sure heâd never been so terrified of a storm before. Normally, he found the beauty in them, but he also had seen their destruction firsthand. It was always devastating to see peopleâs homes flattened and watch them in a desperate scramble to find their missing loved ones in the rubble. That was why they put their money towards helping those people; it wasnât much, but it was the only way he knew how to help.Â
It was a different kind of heartbreak when the devastation plagued a familiar place. As soon as he turned down the little gravel road that led to his neighborhood, he felt violently ill. It was like a swift punch in the gut, nearly causing him to double over at the wheel. The homes he had memorized along the street were gone, old trees completely uprooted, and cars overturned and totaled.Â
âOh my God,â Lily muttered from the backseat, bringing Tyler slightly out of his increasing panic. He didnât know what he expected, based on the damage leading down the road toward your guysâ home, but nothing prepared him for seeing his little house in ruins. His mind didnât even register what was happening until he abandoned his truck, running across what used to be the front yard.Â
âNo, no, no,â he whispered, unable to say much of anything else as he climbed over the rubble of the house. His chest felt impossibly tight, like his heart had been flattened alongside the homes, because his heart wasnât in his chest anymore, not really. His heart was with you and your little girl; heâd given it away to you long ago and then again when he held his daughter for the very first time.
And neither one of you were anywhere to be seen.Â
The Wranglers started to yell your name before Tyler found his voice and joined them. He peeled through the debris, numb to the pain in his hands as they cut against the mangled pieces of what once was a house. With each second that passed that he couldn't see you or hear you, his whole world seemed to darken around him.Â
In the very back of his mind, he held a worry of something happening to him while he was chasing; he was as careful as he could be, making sure to only get into situations he could get himself and his team out of, but he never had considered heâd one day he at risk of losing you.Â
Tyler had never considered having a little family of his own until he met you. Heâd never felt so at home with a person since you crash-landed into his life. And after you two married, and you told him you were pregnant, he was faced with a brighter future than heâd ever imagined for himself. The idea that he may have lost it so suddenly was excruciating.Â
âI got âem!â Boone yelled above the blood rushing in Tylerâs ears. Boone was on the other side of what used to be the house, grasping a bloodied hand that poked out of the rubble. âI need some help over here!âÂ
Tyler sprinted across the yard, as did the rest of the Wrangles. Lily, Dexter, and Dani ripped back the pile of debris while Boone and Tyler pulled on your hand, helping you out of the basement. You landed on your knees, one hand still clutching Tylerâs while your other was holding onto the baby.Â
A cry of relief left Tylerâs lips as he fell to the ground in front of you. Your hand wasnât the only thing that was bloodied, it ran down the side of your face and stained the sleeve of your shirt.Â
âBaby,â he muttered, carefully grasping the sides of your face to get a better look at you. Your eyes were a little unfocused, red-rimmed, and watery. He wiped some of the blood off of your cheek, causing you to wince in pain. âAre you okay?â Clearly, you werenât, but he needed to know if there was more damage than the cuts and bruises. Your eyes instantly fell onto the baby in your arm, panic taking hold of your features.Â
âI-I donât know,â you cried. You pulled back the blanket slightly from your daughterâs face, and there were a couple drops of blood smeared across her delicate skin. âI donât know,-â Your voice caught in your throat, resulting in a shaky sob.Â
Carefully, Tyler took the baby, who looked up at him with a quiet contentness, despite the chaos. She babbled quietly, reaching up toward him. He let her wrap her little hand around his fingers and quickly looked her over for any injuries. When he wiped the blood away, he quickly realized it was yours, not hers, which made him both feel relief and panic at the same time.Â
âThereâs EMTs cominâ in now. Iâll grab one!â Dani said before she took off down the road where the sirens wailed.Â
Boone kneeled beside Tyler, squeezing his shoulder lightly. âDo you want me to take the kid to get checked out while you wait here, with her?â Tyler nodded, passing off the baby to Boone, who smiled kindly down at her and started talking nonsense in the way that always made the little girl smile.Â
Tylerâs full focus was on you as your shock started to wear off. You grabbed a fist full of his shirt, struggling to breathe as you tried to speak. âI fell asleep,â you choked out. âS-She went down for a nap, and I fell asleep. I didnâtâŠâ A sputtered breath fell from your lips as Tyler held you close, hand placed firmly on the back of your head and the other rubbing something circled across your back.Â
âItâs all right,â he whispered against the side of your head that wasnât cut. âYouâre okay.âÂ
You buried your head into his chest, sagging against him. âIâm sorry,â you said between hiccups.Â
Confusion flushed Tyler. âWhat in the world are you sorry for?â He was the one who was sorry. He knew tornados were unpredictable, that was all a part of their nature. But he felt like he should have known the storm was coming for you, even if it was something completely out of his control. You had done everyone right; he left you alone.Â
You didnât answer, though. Instead, you squeezed your eyes closed just as Dani led an EMT back to where you two sat in the front yard. Not too far, Tyler could see Boone holding onto your baby girl while she was looked over too. By the little smile on her lips when Boone made a funny face, Tyler knew she was okay, and that was all thanks to you.Â
You had to spend a couple of hours in the hospital, getting a couple stitches and diagnosed with a minor concussion. Other than that, both you and your daughter were okay.Â
Since your guys' home was torn apart, the three of you posted up in one of the nicer motels just outside of town. You lounged on the bed, smiling softly as you watched Tyler and your daughter engage in a riveting conversation of nonsensical words and babbles that almost sounded like words. He felt your gaze and met it from his position at the end of the bed.Â
The bumps and bruises would fade, and homes could be rebuilt; the most important thing was that all three of you were okay. Your little family, something you only wanted to protect, was still standing strong.Â
Tyler scooped the baby girl up in his arms before he moved it sit right beside you, pressing a kiss to your cheek before he did the same to your daughter. You rested your head on his shoulder, brushing a gentle finger across the little girlâs chubby cheeks.Â
âWeâre okay,â you whispered, like a reminder to yourself.Â
Tyler wrapped an arm around you, pulling you impossibly close before he repeated, âWeâre okay.â

okay listen đ tyler dry humping you against the side of his car before getting to work
Hi, can I kiss your brain? It's beautiful. We got some good ole porn without plot smut here folks.
Having no neighbors within a three mile radius has many perks.
Halloween is spent watching movies, not handing out candy at the door. You can host a party but don't have to hear someone else do the same. No HOA means you're free to paint your door whatever color you damn well please.
It also meant you could grind against your husband's denim covered thigh against his truck.
It started out as a kiss. A goodbye kiss, like one you had given Tyler so many times before he headed out to chase a developing storm.
Okay, yes, it was more heated than sweet this time around. More desperate than gentle. Your hands gripping his sun kissed hair instead of resting against his broad chest.
Who could blame you? Prior to getting a call from Boone, you and Tyler were underneath your bedsheets, his talented mouth having just started to unravel you.
Hopes that Boone was calling to fire off a new experiment were quickly dashed when he called a second time, in between Tyler's phone going off with text notifications, no doubt from the rest of the crew.
The cluster of storm cells had the potential to develop into something big, which Tyler swears is the only reason why he got out of bed and began to dress.
You had opted to stay in the baby blue night slip, knowing you weren't the one on the chase and it was Tyler's favorite.
Another perk of having no neighbors meant you didn't need to put on a robe in order to walk Tyler out to his truck.
So yes, if you were in a courtroom, facing trial for trying to tempt Tyler, the evidence would be overwhelmingly against you. But he truly started it, those large hands of his gripping your waist so he could pull you back for another kiss.
You could never leave it at just one kiss. He knows this. All you wanted was to simply be as close as humanly possible. After all, how else would you be able to inhale his captivating scent of oak and sandalwood?
He has your left knee pinned against his hip, allowing you to feel his denim cladded erection against your thigh.
"Fuck," his voice is breathless as his hips jerk upwards. A tornado is nothing, but feeling your soft body in his hands is enough to nearly bring Tyler to his knees.
Your mouth swallows his needy grunts, a hand squeezing his clothed erection, chest pressed against his.
"Ty," your nickname for him comes out in the form of a weak, needy whine, "Want ya s'bad."
"I know, but I gotta-fuck!" He hissed upon feeling his clothed erection against your bare cunt.
That, you absolutely did on purpose.
He abruptly stopped, hastily opening the passenger door. "Bend over," he hissed, pointing to the now available seat.
You quickly oblige, toes curling at the sound of his belt buckle clicking.
Having no neighbors mean you can be as loud as you want. Who could truly care about a noise complaint when the head of his cock was brushing against your clit?
When his cock sinks in, you breathe a sigh of relief, body welcoming the pleasurable stretch. Tyler always makes you feel so full, all you can think about is just him and his ridiculously amazing cock.
Now that should be investigated.
Thanks to your earlier, albeit interrupted, romp in bed, you're ready for him, allowing Tyler to quickly build up a rhythm. It's hurried, his thrusts harsh and sloppy. And yet, you can help but cling to the passenger seat
The sound of his hips slamming into yours can barely be heard over the moans that fall effortlessly from your mouth, along with the grunts Tyler grits out between his pearly white teeth.
"S'fuckin tight f'me," He groans, "Love you s'much. Can't wait t'come home t'you and this ah perfect pussy."
He's addicted to you. Your soft skin, the way your ass jiggles with each thrust, the shameless moans that fall from your kiss bitten lips. How soft you are, how tightly you cling onto him.
Tyler seriously considers calling out, making up some excuse, hell, even just being honest with his crew.
Who could be upset at a man for wanting to spend more time with his wife?
But he also knew you wouldn't let him. Ever since college, you knew of his dreams and how badly he wanted to follow them. You also trusted that he would always find a way back to you.
"Fuck, pretty girl. Need you to cum f'me, think you can do that?" One of his large hands reaches down to where you two connect, long fingers drawing circles on your clit.
You can barely keep your head up, nodding weakly as your walls clench around him. All you can do is take him, all you can do is let yourself go into the pleasure fueled haze you were craving.
He leans over as he feels your release, stubble scratching against your bare shoulder.
"Atta girl, feel s'good," his words are beginning to slur, signaling how close he is. You reach back, hand finding his dark blonde locks and giving the strands a harsh tug.
The whine Tyler lets out is music to your ears. It just takes one, two, three more sharp tugs for his hips to stutter, his release trailing behind yours.
His body covers yours and for a moment you two simply stay like that, breathing heavily.
"Hey, com're," His voice is now soft, gentle, his longer fingers cupping your chin so he could turn your face towards his.
Thin pink lips crash onto yours, the gesture a stark contrast to what occurred several minutes ago.
"Love ya," he confesses between kisses. Despite having heard it multiple times a day, it still makes your heart flutter.
"Love ya too cowboy," you smile against his lips, "But you should get goin'. Don't wanna be late."
Tyler shrugged, "You know how long it takes them to get ready. Besides, what kind of husband would I be if I didn't help my wife clean up?"
If Boone asks if you were the reason Tyler was an hour late, you would happily plead guilty.

I am gonna start working on a longer one hopefully tomorrow, but I just wrote this one tonight after I had the idea and so here it is! I love this Tyler so much. Enjoy! đ
Tyler was sitting in front of his computer, going through some of the footage theyâd gotten today to start editing it for a video on Youtube when his phone buzzed. Usually heâd ignore it so late at night, especially because he was working, but not tonight.
You were out with your friends, celebrating one of their birthdayâs at a bar a few blocks from the house you shared with Tyler. Heâd wanted to come along, but no one else was bringing a partner so, regretfully, heâd agreed to stay home â but just one text and heâd be there, either to be the designated driver for you and your friends or any other reason.
He figured, from the time of evening, it would be a text asking him to come and pick you and your friends up, but the second he read the message, his computer was forgotten in front of him and he was standing up and heading to the door before he even finished reading.
Thereâs some guy here being creepy. Can you come by?
With one hand, he typed out a quick On my way and with the other, he grabbed his car keys. He locked the door behind him, not bothering about grabbing a jacket despite the chill in the air, and jogged the few steps to his truck, parked in the driveway.Â
Tyler was a safe driver, but that night he drove a little over the speed limit â knowing he shouldnât but being much more worried about you to care too much â to get to the bar quicker. He pulled up right out the front and was quick to throw the truck in park and jump out, shoving his keys in the pocket of his jeans as he headed towards the door.
It looked busy, people spilling out of the bar onto the street, but Tyler didnât let that phase him. He pushed through the crowd with ease, his height and the way he held himself almost making the crowd part for him. He paused briefly once he was inside, looking around for you and your friends, and when he spotted you, he didnât hesitate.
You spotted him getting closer towards you and let out a breath of relief. âTy, that was so quick,â you said, wrapping an arm around his waist as he reached you. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders and pressed a kiss to the top of your head.Â
âWould have been here quicker if I couldâve been, darlinâ,â Tyler replied. âNow, where is this creep and what has he been doing?â He gave a quick greeting to your friends, who were standing in a circle, glancing nervously back over their shoulders.Â
âHeâs the one in the brown shirt with the black hair, just there,â you point the man out, trying to be as discreet as possible, not wanting to pull attention to yourself even though you know that nothing is gonna happen now that Tyler is here. âHe just wonât leave us alone. Weâve all told him weâre not interested but he wonât take no for an answer.â
You wondered, briefly, if he had actually moved away from you all, as he was stood talking to another person a few people away from you, but then he glanced back and met your eyes and you could see the interest spark on his face again.Â
Tyler didnât let the man get very close. He hated to let you go, but he knew you were safe behind him as he moved to put himself between your friends and the man so he couldnât get any closer to them.Â
âHey, âscuse me, man, just trying to get past.â The man tried to side-step past Tyler, but he was quick, moving to stand in his way again.Â
âI think you should leave,â Tyler said.
The man stopped and raised his eyebrows before letting out a laugh. âWho are you to say that to me, man? Iâm just trying to have a nice night and talk to some nice ladies, and Iâve been talking to some just over there all night.â He moved, trying to step around Tyler again.
Tyler moved in his path again. âYou listen to me,â he started. âThose ladies want nothing to do with you. Iâm not a violent man, but if you try and get past me to get to them one more time, I canât promise you I wonât become one. So, I am telling you to get the hell outta here.â
You watched for a few moments as the man stared Tyler down, worrying that he was going to take a swing at your boyfriend and create drama. The last thing you wanted was for Tyler to get hurt tonight. The night had already taken a turn for the worst.Â
âYou need me to tell you again?â Tyler said in response to the silence.
The man scoffed, threw his hands up in the air and turned on his heel, walking out of the bar. You all watched him as he left, letting out a breath of relief when you saw him leave.Â
Tyler was quick to come back over to you, wrapping an arm around you again and gently rubbing your arm in an attempt to soothe you. He could tell you were feeling tense â and for good reason. That man was a prick and Tyler was mad he wasnât here to get rid of him before he made you and your friends so uncomfortable.
âThank you, Ty,â you leant into his side, giving him a squeeze.Â
âNo need to thank me, darlinâ, protecting you and your friends is my job.â He pressed another kiss to the top of your head.Â
Your friends all thanked him as well, relaxing a bit now that the man was gone.
âThatâs not the end to the night I was hoping for,â one of your friends said.
âI know,â you pouted. âI was hoping weâd get another hour or two at least.â
Tyler looked down at you. âWho says your night has to end? You can all come back to ours, yâknow,â he suggested. âWe have drinks and food. Pretty sure my girl has some stuff in the fridge to whip up a quick cheese board. What do you say?â
All of your friends looked to you, hope in their eyes.Â
âTy, are you sure? I know you have some work you need to get done.âÂ
âCourse Iâm sure, darlinâ. I donât think your night should be ruined by an asshole like that, and I know how excited you were to spend so much time with your friends. I can just drive them all home when youâre done.â
You couldnât help but smile as you leant up to press your lips to Tylerâs. He smiled into the kiss as he kissed you back.Â
âOkay, letâs go,â you grinned after you broke away from the kiss. âParty continues at ours!â
Tyler kept an arm wrapped around you as you walked out of the bar. Two of your friends walked ahead of you, leading the way. The third leant in to mutter a quick âI think you won the jackpot with your boyfriendâ in your ear. You knew that she was a hundred percent right.Â

i/n. I don't mind writing y/n as reader's referred term but like... I've bad, bad, bad memories of the term y/n, like i cringe every time I see it and it's all because of wattpad. Therefore, i'll forever use ma and pretty, thank you<3
psa. English is not my first language! Initial idea! (turned out kinda different.)
Loud moans echoed throughout the room, only to get muffled a few seconds later. "Fuckâstop squirming, ma." Chris grunted as he surged forward, "canât, fuck... fully go in," he muttered, holding your hips tightly. A second pair of hands gripped your waist and helped to keep you still.
The sensation of Chris filling you up from behind and Matt from the front made you feel overwhelmed. Matt chuckled breathlessly, sensing your difficulty breathing, as he took his length out of your mouthâmaking you gasp for air. đ©âĄđȘ
"Yâthink we look alike right now?" You looked up from your phone, seeing them in very similar outfits and hats on backwards. "Holy fuck, you actually kinda do," you laughed as you stood up from Mattâs bed, walking closer to them.
"Mattâs hair has grown out a lot, kid needs a new haircut," Chris commented, "but thatâs what makes you two look more similar." Your added comment made them momentarily freeze. "Yâthink so?" Matt chuckled, fixing his hat, earning a nudge from Chris. "Câmon, donât steal my haircut."
"Your haircut?" Chris laughed slightly, "yeah, mine," he said grinning, purposely trying to annoy him. "You really do need a haircut though, I like yours shorter," you said, making Matt grin, "yeah? yâlike mine shorter, pretty?" His voice dropped into a lower tone, stepping closer to you.
đ©âĄđȘ
You found yourself, somehow, kissing Matt passionately. Your clothes discarded on his bedroom floor and Chris kissing down your body. Youâve no idea what triggered them to suddenly do what they were doing, but itâs not like you were complaining.
Matt groaned in annoyance as his hair kept getting all up in his face, running a frustrated hand through it as he broke the kiss. He saw Chris still keeping his cap on despite his â otherwise â naked state. An idea popped up in Mattâs head as he reached for his own discarded hat, putting it on backwards just like Chris.
You didnât even realize Mattâs hat as Chris started to eat you out with such sudden force that you couldnât control your moans. Matt chuckled as he saw the scene, guiding your hand towards his aching dick. You barely kept yourself from squirming as Chris went on, your hand pumping Mattâs length while your other hand clutched onto Chrisâ hair.
Chrisâ left hand held your right leg down onto the bed while his right hand pumped himselfâall while eating you out like he was starving, slurping and sucking loudly. Matt helped Chris by holding down your other leg, making you moan louder as they held you down, unable to move away from the intense pleasure.
Your gaze wandered over to Matt from Chris, seeing them looking so similar made your pussy throb for some reason. Chris smirked against your folds when he gazed up and saw that Matt had worn his own hat in a similar way as him.
"Fuck, youâve a thing for lookalikes or sumâ, ma?" Chris chuckled as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Why? sâshe getting wetter?" Chrisâ gaze left yours and onto Mattâs as he nodded with that shit-eating grin, "yeah, so wet." Matt chuckled, making your face flush in embarrassment.
They exchanged a knowing look, already planning on doing this again as they adjusted their hats.
đ©âĄđȘ Your gasps eventually turned into moans as Chris fucked you relentlessly, "so fucking good," he groaned, planting a sharp slap on your ass. You jolted and whimpered, unable to move away as Matt held your shoulders tightly. You didnât even notice when his hands moved up to your shoulders from your waist.
Matt shifted his position, holding your shoulder with one hand while the other gripped his own length, giving it a few pumps, "open up, pretty." Despite your fucked up state, you found yourself complying.
"Damn, ma... yâtake us so wellâ such a slut." Chris slammed his hips hard against your backside, emphasizing his words. "Mm... câmon, pretty." Matt hissed through clenched teeth, holding your hair into a makeshift ponytail, "show us what a whore you are."
Encouraged by their words, you met Chrisâ thrusts as your mouth worked Matt, making both of them groan and moan in pleasure. You could tell they were both close, their cocks pulsing in your holes. You felt a rush of pleasure and satisfaction knowing you were giving them such intense pleasure that they couldât stop groaning and moaning.
Their hands clutched onto any part of you that they could hold on as they used your holes for their own pleasure, chasing the delicious pleasure you were providing them. You couldnât stop the knot from forming in your stomach, threatening to consume your mind, almost too much, almost.
Your mind blanked when they went balls deep in both your holes, filling you up to the brim. The sensation bordered on too much and your body responded immediately, convulsing as you orgasmed hard. Your world blurred as you felt yourself get consumed by the pleasure.

Tyler Owens x Reader: I Choose You
Request: Anonymous said: "jealous tyler or jealous reader would be interesting to read đ"
Word count: 3.8k
Warnings: none!
A/N: not sure how i feel about this one but I gave it a go and wanted to make sure I posted!
Tyler tells himself that heâs over thinking⊠maybe even reading too much into things.Â
But God, he swears he isnât imagining the way that you and the reporter heâd agreed to let tag along for the next week naturally interact with one another with such ease.Â
Tyler is not a jealous personâ heâs confident and secure and he trusts you. Jealousy is petty and itâs stupid. And Tylerâs been trying his whole life to prove to himself and everyone around him that heâs not stupid.
Tyler has a loose shock to repair before the storm theyâve been tracking rolls in later that day. Heâs currently laying on the dirt at the rest stop theyâve pulled in, with a wrench in his hand. Daniâs shining their flashlight for him, and itâs important he stays focused. And he tries⊠really, he does.Â
But Tyler looks up just as the reporter laughs at a joke youâve made. And then, he reaches out to touch your arm for the added effect. Tyler nearly drops the wrench heâs holding on his face at the sight.Â
âEasy, T,â Dani says, studying him closely.Â
He takes a deep breath before looking back towards the truck.Â
âWhat the hellâs the matter with you?â Dani asks, kicking his shoulder gently with their boot.Â
âNothing,â Tyler grumbles in a tone that screams there is absolutely something wrong. Thankfully Dani doesnât push.Â
âŠ
Throughout the rest of the week, Tyler tries to talk himself down whenever jealousy rears its ugly head. He keeps telling himself that heâs being irrationalâ youâre not flirting with the reporter everytime you walk with him into the gas stations they stop at, or offer to ride with him in the van instead of Tylerâs truck, where you normally sit. Youâre just trying to be friendly⊠make him feel at ease.Â
But did he really have to look at you that way while you studied the GPS monitoring system? Or share his fucking cookies with you when everyone ate lunch in the field? And did you have to laugh so loudly at every single joke he made?
Tyler finds out on the second night heâs tagging along that Henryâs a fucking Columbia grad on top of a stupid self-proclaimed comedian. The two of you are sitting around the fire talking about graduate degrees when Henry turns towards him.Â
âDid you two meet at school then?â Henry asks. Â
Tyler smiles, but instead of warmth itâs laced with sarcasm. âNope, I donât have one of those fancy degrees, Henry. In fact, none of us but her do.âÂ
Henry turns back towards you and proceeds to ask more questions about your time studying meteorology at the U of A. Meanwhile, Tyler is left to simmer in his own self pity, wondering if it bothered you that he isnât educated like Henry.Â
Tyler has to spend the rest of the week fighting the urge to make it known youâre hisâ heâs had thoughts of keeping a permanent hand planted on your waist right in front of Henry. Maybe if he pulled you in for a kiss a little more often, and really claimed you as his, this guy would back the hell off.Â
But Tyler quickly shakes away the thought.Â
Because claiming you like an object is stupid, and Tyler is not stupid.Â
âŠ
Tyler grabs you a coffee from the nearest gas station and brings it back to the motel because heâs really trying to move past all this shit. Youâre sitting with Lilly and fiddling with the drone when he tries to hand it to you.Â
You offer him an appreciative smile that warms his entire chest. Tylerâs definitely been overreacting, because youâre looking at him with such love and admiration in your eyes.Â
âThanks, but Iâve already had some today,â you say, crushing every hope inside of him in an instant. âWhy donât you give it to Dani? They take their coffee the same as I do.â
âWhen did you have time to get coffee?â he asks, trying to play it cool.Â
You reply so simply, like the words donât slice right through his heart. âI didnât, Henry brought me one.â
Tylerâs jaw tightens. Itâs a gesture you donât notice, because youâre too busy focusing on the drone half in your lap.Â
What you do seem to notice, is the way he scoffs. It makes yours and Lillyâs heads both turn.Â
But before you can reply, Tylerâs already walking away. He clutches the coffee firmly in his hand and without a word, drops the full cup in the trash can outside the motel.Â
âŠ
Tyler has to remind himself that heâs not angry.
At least not at you. Â
You and him have a great relationship. He trusts you and thatâs all there is to it. Whether itâs Henry or whoever elseâ you never gave Tyler a reason to be worried.Â
But Tyler doesnât like the way seeing you with the reporter makes him feel. Because at any moment, you could leave him for someone with a more respectable careerâ someone with fair skin and button up polos who just looked like they had their shit together. Someone with a college degree⊠someone a hell of a lot smarter than him.Â
Seeing you with him made Tyler feel vulnerable, like he had something to loseâ because he had everything to lose.Â
âŠ
The crew spends another week chasing in Oklahoma. The seasonâs winding down, but they still managed to catch two EF0s and an EF1.Â
Tylerâs been avoiding you for most of the week. Heâd offer the truck space to Boone and Lilly, heâd sit next to Dexter around the fire at night⊠hell, he would hardly even look at you.Â
You turned down his coffee earlier in the week. Only after the fact did you realize that you should have just taken the damn thing. You understand that rejecting him after he went out of his way to do something nice for you hurt his feelings⊠But you canât understand how that turned into an entire week of the silent treatment.Â
On numerous instances, you try to approach him. But he always has somewhere to run off to.Â
âI gotta help Dani with the vanâs oil change.â
âI gotta see if Boone got the footage we need.â
âI gotta give Dexter a hand with the radar.â
Youâre getting sick of it.Â
You try to distract yourself for the rest of the weekâ you ask Lilly to explain more about how to work her drone, you keep on top of the radarâ looking for forming storm cells, and you try to make the reporter Tyler had invited along for the week feel welcome.Â
Henryâs niceâ heâs completely new to storm chasing and has loads of questions all the time. You find it slightly annoying that heâs so interested in Tyler⊠but you get it. And even though youâre a little irritated with Tyler for your week-long silent-treatment sentence, you still want him to sound as good as possible in the article, so you talk him up every chance you can.Â
You know that this lack of communication canât last. And the second Henry goes back to Boston to write his piece, you plan to corner Tyler and force him into telling you what the hell youâd done wrong. But until then, you donât want to cause a scene. So, you sit back, spend more time talking with Henry about Tyler, and try like hell not to lose your mind.
âŠ
Itâs more for his own sanity than anything. Itâs like seeing you with Henry has caused this sudden realization to pop into his head⊠You can do betterâ and honestly you deserve better than him. The thought is all consuming. It makes focusing on anything else incredibly difficult.Â
âYou gonna tell us what the hell is up?â Lilly asks one day.Â
Tylerâs currently standing in the bed of his truck, tinkering things that didnât really need to be fixed just to stay busy.Â
âWhat do you mean?â he replies without looking up.
âI mean are you going to tell us why you two love birds havenât spoken in like three days?â
Out of the corner of his eye, Tyler notices Boone glancing his way with an expression on his face that says he was wondering the same thing.Â
âWeâve spoken,â Tyler says dismissively.Â
âTelling her you donât have room for her in the truck doesnât count,â Lilly retorts. âCâmon, seriously, Ty. Whatâs wrong?â
Tyler sets his tool down and looks down at Lilly. âNothing is wrong.â
Lilly rolled her eyes. âOkay, well are you sure she knows that? Cause Dani and I saw her crying in the bathroom.âÂ
Tyler lets out a long exhaleâ the thought of you upset instantly filling his insides with sorrow. But the thought that he was the one to make you upset is even worse.Â
âI know itâs not my business,â Lilly adds. âBut Iâve been watching you give her the silent treatment all week, and thatâs not going to fix anything. I know Henryâs still here and itâs been a crazy weekââ
Tyler canât help the scoff that escapes his lips at the mention of Henryâs name.
Lilly pauses before a look of understanding washes over her. âYouâre pissed that sheâs been hanging with Henry.â She says it as a statement instead of a question.Â
âIâm notââ
âIâve known you for six years, donât even try to deny it. You areâ youâre jealous, arenât you?âÂ
With his lips pursed in a thin line, Tyler raises an eyebrow at her. âMaybe I am. Does that make you happy? Is that what you want to hear?â
Now it was Lillyâs turn to scoff. âOf course it doesnât make me happy. Youâre being an idiot.â
âWhat?âÂ
âI said that youâre being an idiot,â Lilly says, annunciating each word insultingly.Â
âYeah,â Tyler nods. âIâm well aware that Iâm an idiot, but thanks for reminding me.â
âI said youâre being an idiot, Tyler. Not that you are one. Now stop sulking and fucking listen for once in your goddamn life.â
Itâs so out of the ordinary for Lilly to snap that Tyler actually does shut his mouth.Â
âYou invite a reporter on the road with us and then you donât give him the time of day to answer any of the questions he has. Youâre short and curt and to be honest, kind of fucking rude anytime he asks you anything. Y/N is being politeâ and sheâs hosting the guest you invited along. So donât fucking blame her just because youâre insecure.âÂ
Tyler can feel the anger rising in his own chest, he wants to get defensiveâ to snap back at Lilly. But deep down, he knows sheâs right, so he stifles any comebacks and instead hangs his head.Â
Lilly sighs. âYouâre not an idiot, Tyler. So stop acting like one.â
âŠ
After letting Lillyâs words really sink in, Tyler decides that sheâs right. For the first time all week, heâs motivated to actually talk with you and make things right.Â
Or at least he is right until he sees Henry approaching you in the parking lot. Heâs too far away to hear what Henry has to say. But heâs not so far away that he doesn't see the folded up piece of paper that he passes you.Â
In an instant, everything Lilly had saidâ along with all the things heâs said to convince himself heâs been overreacting flies away with the wind. Because Henry just gave you his fucking phone number.Â
Tyler turnsâ needing to get as much space from whatever exchange he just witnessed as he possibly can. In a few, long, angry strides, Tyler reaches his truck and climbs inside. In the distance, he hears Lilly call after him. But he pretends he doesnât hear. Instead, he slams the door shut, starts the ignition and drives away.Â
âŠ
âWhereâs he goinâ?â Boone says just as you approach him and the rest of the crew.Â
âDunno. He didnât say anything to you?â Dani asks, turning towards Lilly.Â
She shakes her head, eyes squinting against the bright sun.Â
âWhat the hell is his problem?â you say frustratedly, biting back tears.Â
Stupidly, youâd let yourself get your hopes up earlier in the day when Tyler had offered you a small smile over breakfast. You had thought that maybe things were alright, and that he was finally over whatever had been bothering him so badly.Â
But now youâre standing in the cloud of dust he just left behind after taking off in his truck without a word to anyone and you know that isnât the case.Â
âHere I was thinking I helped last night,â Lilly says under her breath.Â
You snap your head in her direction. âYou talked to him?â
She shrugs. âI tried to.âÂ
âDid he say why heâs been so upset?â
Lilly hesitates. And truthfully, you understand why. Everyone here was Tylerâs friend first. You were the last to join the crewâ inducted into the group just by being Tylerâs girlfriend. They have no obligation to be loyal to you over Tyler.Â
âForget it,â you say defeatedly, turning away as soon as you feel the familiar burn of tears behind your eyes. âIt doesnât even matter.â With that, you make your way towards the RV, painfully aware of everyoneâs eyes trained on you the entire way.Â
âŠ
Tyler drives to the nearest gas station, desperate for space to clear his head.Â
He knows heâs being dramatic and irrational at this point, but if he stayed at that rest stop another second, he didnât know what would come out of his mouth. He really really had to get it together. But he canât escape the fear inside of himâ the one saying that meeting Henry helped you recognize that you could do so much better than him.
And now you had his phone number, to reach out whenever that realization hit.Â
Why wouldnât you be interested in Henry? Heâs got a goddamn masterâs degree from Columbia, he writes articles for the Globe, works out every morning before they go chasingâ apparently makes hilarious jokesâŠÂ
Tyler rests his forehead against the steering wheel and groans.
âŠ
Tylerâs gone for an hour. But when he finally parks the truck back at the rest stop, he hasnât shaken the sinking feeling inside of him.Â
In a preemptive attempt to avoid questions he had snagged a bunch of snacks from the nearest gas station. If you ask where heâs been, he can just say he had a hankering for potato chips and call it good.Â
Except, you donât even look at him when he gets out of the truck. Booneâs got corn hole set up in the dirt. It looks like Boone and Henry versus Dani and Dexter while you watch. He only watches for a moment before bringing the bag of snacks into the RV.Â
Secretly, Tylerâs been simultaneously excited for and dreading the end of the week. Heâs excited for Henry to leave and excited to sleep in his own bed. But heâs dreading being back in your shared house. Itâll be the first time the two of you are forced to be alone, and he knows heâll have to find the words to describe what heâs been feeling.Â
But apparently Tylerâs stupid, because he doesnât even know what heâs feeling.Â
All he knows is that he doesnât want to lose you. And seeing you with Henry makes him feel like heâs about to lose you. Tyler doesnât know how to say that to you without coming across as a total lunatic. Â
âŠ
You donât want to cause a scene at the rest stop. But the minute you see Tyler head for the RV, youâre out of your seat and beelining it towards him while the rest of the team is distracted.
As soon as you hoist open the door, you find him hunched over the fridge, grabbing a water bottle.Â
âWhat the hell?â is all you can manage to blurt out. Youâre fuming and on the verge of tears. But you canât help itâ Tylerâs silent treatment has just about pushed you to the edge.Â
Tyler whips around at the sound of your entrance⊠and maybe it was a little dramaticâ but you need to get your point across.Â
Thereâs a long pause while Tylerâs eyes study you.Â
âAre you gonna tell me why youâve been avoiding me all week?â
Youâre met by more silence. Â
âThis is ridiculous, Tyler. Will you just talk to me?â
Finally, Tyler scoffs, âThe reporter gave you his number, right? Why donât you talk to him? Iâm sure heâd love to talk.â
In an instant, a wave of understanding washes over you. But it isnât overshadowed by the anger you feel.Â
âAre you serious right now? Youâre jealous of Henry?â
He shuts the fridge before cracking open his water bottle dismissively, ignoring your questions.Â
âTyler, are you forgetting that youâre the one who invited him with us this week? I mean, did you think he was just supposed to sit back and observe? Heâs a reporter, of course heâs going to have questions⊠Questions that you were way more qualified to answer, but you were too busy being a jerk all week to answer any of them. So I did it for youââ
âI never asked for you to do that.â
âYou didnât have toâ I did it for you!â you cry. âI did it so that heâd write you a good storyâ because you deserve that.âÂ
âOh, how convenient. So you two just get along so well for my sake then?â he says.Â
You exhale sharply. âAre you kidding me right now? Weâve spent the last week talking about you! Iâve been talking you upâ telling him stories about what you doâ how good you are at what you doâ all the people youâve helpedââ
Tyler rolls his eyes. âYeah right,â he scoffs.Â
You pause, anger slowly melting away at the realization that he genuinely didnât believe anything you were saying.Â
âTyler,â you say seriously. âThere is absolutely nothing going on between me and Henry. Iâve been answering his questions and telling him how fucking brave and generous and smart you areââ
âDonât patronize me,â he snaps, voice cracking just slightly. âJust forget it, it doesnât matter.â He sets his water bottle on the counter before moving to step by you.Â
âTyler stopââ you say, reaching for him. But heâs too quick. He reaches the door before youâre able to stop him.Â
âWill you please stop walking away from me!â you blurt out frustratedly, tears forming in your eyes. âYouâve been running from me all weekâ I just⊠I just want to talk about this. Pleaseââ
Tyler doesnât turn to face you, but to your relief, he stops before opening the door.Â
âThere is nothing happening between me and Henry, Tyler. I mean, I promise you, absolutely nothingâ I⊠I donât know how else to convince you. But thereâs nothing going on. Iâm not into Henryââ
âI know,â he says quickly, eyes squeezing shut.Â
You let your mouth fall open, confusion washing over you. âWhat?âÂ
âI know thereâs nothing happening between you and Henryâ I trust you and I believe you.â
You shake your head in disbelief. âSo why are you so mad at me?â
Tyler pauses and bites his lip before saying, âIâm not mad at youââ he tries to explain. âI just⊠I donât understand.â
âUnderstand what?â
âI donât understand whyââ
You sigh. âTyler, youâre not making any senseââ
Tylerâs face twists in anguish. âWhy arenât you into him?â
âWhat are you talking about?â
âHeâs everything Iâm not. And I meanâ Seeing you with himâ it just made me realize that you can do so much better than me,â Tyler says desperately, the pain almost palpable in his voice. âHeâs got the fancy degreeâ heâs obviously smartââ
Youâre shaking your head before he even finishes his sentence, because the idea of anyone ever being better than Tyler was even more ludicrous than him being jealous in the first place. âTyler, youâre smartââ
âI didnât go to Columbia. I didnât even finish my first year of undergrad.â
âI donât care about any of thatâ you know I donâtââ
âWhy?â he blurts out harshly, finally turning to look at you. âWhy do you even want me when you can have someone like him?â
Tyler didnât think he was good enough for youâ and that admission broke your fucking heart. In an instant, all the reasons you loved Tyler flow through your head. Thereâs so many, you canât even keep up.Â
So instead, you reach into your pocket and pull out the note Henry had given you just hours earlierâ the one Tyler apparently saw him give you. He watches as you unfold the piece of paper, quickly revealing that itâs not a phone number.Â
âItâs his momâs cookie recipe,â you explain. âThe ones you refused to try. I talked to him about how you have a sweet tooth, and I said how much you love chocolate chip cookies, so he wrote it down for me. I thought I might be able to make them for you when we got home. Because I love youâ and I love doing things that will make you happy. Because thatâs what you do for meâ you make me happy. All the time, just by existing.â
You watch as the realization washes over him. Â
You sigh. âDid you ever stop and think about how I feel the same about you?â
He pauses before looking at you questioningly.Â
âI mean, youâre you,â you say, gesturing towards him. âPeople adore you, Tyler. And rightfully soâ but Iâm always worried youâll find someone better. But I donât get hung up on it, because I trust you. I trust that you mean it when you tell me you love me and you choose me. And I need you to do the same for me, Tyler. I need you to trust me. Because I love youâ and I always will.â
Tyler exhales, his eyes watery.Â
âCan you do that?â you plead.Â
To your relief, after a moment, he nods.Â
You donât hesitate before closing the gap between you and wrapping your arms around his middle. You lay your head on his chest just as his arms wind around your shoulders in an attempt to make up for all the hugs youâve missed out on this week. Because as much as you love chasing in Oklahoma or Texas, your absolute favorite place to be is at home in his arms.Â
âCookie recipe, huh?â he muses above you, chin resting on top of your heads.Â
You nod. âIâm a horrible baker, but I was going to give it a shot.â
Tyler tightens his grip around you. âWell horrible baker or not, I love you and I choose you.â
You let your eyes fall shut and inhale the familiar, comforting scent of him. âYou have no idea how happy that makes me,â you say honestly.Â

SUMMARY: Where Nick pranks Chris and Y/N while they are sleeping.
WARNING: None.

Nick walked towards the double bed closest to the hotel room's door, their vlogging camera in his right hand, while his left hand held a bottle of lemonade.
He slowly approached, raising the camera so that the lens caught what was on top of it, or rather, who. Y/N and Chris were still fast asleep, both covered by the fluffy white blanket.
The girl was lying on the left side, that is, closer to Nick. Her head was lying on Chris's right arm, using it as her personal pillow, while the boy's left arm was around her shoulders covered by one of his t-shirts.
The only visible parts of the couple were their heads - which were practically on top of each other - and Chris's bare shoulders and arms that were slightly shivering from the Texas cold. Unfortunately, the room's heater didn't seem to be able to combat the coldness completely.
Nick couldn't see, but he was sure their legs were tangled under the blanket. He joked that when they slept together, they seemed to melt into each other with how close they were.
As the oldest triplet got closer to the bed, the camera was able to capture the small snores that came out of Chris's half-open mouth and the soft sighs that escaped Y/N's nose, both sounding like a lullaby to each other.
Nick pressed his lips into a thin line, trying to contain his laughter as he anticipated the couple's reaction. He loved playing pranks on them both, especially when they were sleeping.
"Chris, do you want a sip? Y/N?" Nick's voice sounded low behind the camera as the lens captured him, raising his left arm, the bottle entering the frame, bringing it closer to the couple's faces.
Chris, being a light sleeper, woke up seconds after. He lifted his head slightly as he tightened his arms around Y/N, pulling her closer - if that was even possible.
That movement woke up Y/N, or almost. The girl opened her eyes slightly, keeping them in a thin line, exhaling through her nose before closing them again, seeming not to register Nick in front of her.
"Hmm?" The questioning sound escaped Chris's throat. He turned his head from side to side slowly, trying to understand what was happening, his messy hair falling into his eyes.
"Do you want a sip? I think Y/N must be thirsty, too." Nick continued, his cheeks turning red from the effort he was doing while trying not to laugh.
"What, Nick?" Chris's voice sounded for the first time, the hoarseness making his words almost intelligible. The sound made Y/N open her eyes again, this time a little wider.
She lifted her hands, which were previously under the blanket, and brought them to Chris' ones in front of her body, intertwining them, shivering at the contact of her hot skin with her boyfriend's cold one. A sound of discomfort left her lips as she finally noticed Nick in front of her, holding what looked like a bottle. She quickly closed her eyes again, feeling too tired for whatever that was that Nick wanted.
"It's lemonade. Do you guys want a sip or not?" Nick prevailed, moving the bottle closer to their faces.
"If you drop that on me... I'll kill you." This time, it was Y/N's voice that sounded, equally hoarse and tired from the previous day's filming with Sam and Colby. She only opened one eye this time, looking at Nick but not really being able to focus on him, her vision blurred by sleep.
"It's lemonade." The standing boy spoke again, letting out a low, almost imperceptible laugh. He knew he would get yelled at when the couple actually woke up.
"Are you fucking stupid?" Chris responded, stretching for a few seconds without letting go of Y/N's hand, pulling her closer against his bare chest and burying his head in the crook of his girl's neck, exhaling the natural scent of her skin.
"Go away, Nick." Y/N spoke again, finally closing her eyes completely with the comfort of her boyfriend's body heat against her own, a happy sigh scaping her mouth.
They both fell asleep again within seconds, as if nothing had happened.

Lean On
Pairing: Tyler Owens x Reader
Summary: Tyler Owens, an avid storm chaser, takes his friends Javi and Kate to meet his estranged wife YN and their son Noah, rekindling old tensions. During a fierce tornado, they seek refuge in a cinema, where Tyler and YN rediscover their love amidst the chaos. YN begs Tyler to never leave again, and he promises to stay, solidifying their connection he broke all those years back.
Warnings: Natural Disasters, Family Conflict, Romantic Intimacy, Strong Language
A/n: I only watched twisters and I just had too
Word count: 8,525 (holy fucking shit)
Tyler Owens had always been a free spirit, driven by an obsession that had gripped him since childhood: tornadoes. The power, the unpredictability, the sheer force of natureâit all fascinated him. Heâd dedicated his life to chasing them, studying them, understanding their every whim and fury. Over the years, heâd assembled a crew, a family of sorts, who shared his passion and drive. Among them were Javi and Kate, friends and fellow storm chasers who had been by his side for two years.
It was a rare sunny day, with the sky an unbroken canvas of blue, that Tyler decided his team deserved a break. The adrenaline, the sleepless nights, the constant state of readinessâthey needed a holiday from the storms, if only for a little while. The rest of the crew scattered to their own respites, but Javi and Kate chose to stay with Tyler, curious about his plans.
The three of them piled into Tylerâs truck, a rugged beast of a vehicle that had weathered countless storms. As the tires crunched over gravel and onto the open road, Kate glanced over at Tyler, who was focused on the horizon, his eyes alight with a spark that was hard to ignore.
"Where are we going, Tyler?" she asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
Tyler's lips curled into a mysterious smile. "I want you to meet my family."
Javi, sitting in the back seat, leaned forward. "Like your mom and brother or something?" he asked.
Tyler chuckled, shaking his head. "Something better."
They drove for hours, the landscape changing from the bustling outskirts of the city to the serene vastness of the countryside. The sky, which had been clear and calm, began to change, dark clouds rolling in from the distance. It was a sight all too familiar to the trio, but this time, there was no urgency, no race against time. They were simply observers.
Eventually, Tyler turned off the main road, guiding the truck down a narrow path that led to a quaint, rustic bar. The sign above the entrance read "The Tipsy," and it depicted a tornado with two people dancing inside it.
Javi raised an eyebrow as he read the sign. "What are we doing here?"
Tyler smiled enigmatically. "You'll have to wait and find out."
He led them inside, the wooden door creaking as they entered. The interior was warm and inviting, with low lighting casting a cozy glow over the patrons scattered around the bar. A jukebox played soft country tunes in the corner, and the air was thick with the scent of aged wood and beer.
Tyler guided them to a booth near the back, the plush seats a welcome comfort after their long drive. As they settled in, Tyler glanced around the room, his expression one of contentment and nostalgia.
Kate looked at him expectantly. "So, whatâs the big surprise?"
Tyler leaned back, a playful glint in his eye. "Just wait. Itâll be worth it."
Tylerâs eyes perked up from the booth, drawing the attention of Javi and Kate. They followed his gaze and noticed a beautiful woman behind the bar. She was effortlessly juggling bottles with perfection, her cowboy hat slightly tilted, her white tank top and jeans hugging her figure, and a pair of worn cowboy boots completing her look. Despite the bar being loud and overcrowded, it was clear who had captured Tyler's attention.
With a blink of an eye, she noticed him too. Her hands paused mid-juggle, and she delicately slammed a rag onto the bar before setting the bottles down. She made her way over to their booth, her expression a mix of surprise and something unreadable.
Tyler quickly smirked at her, the familiar gesture laden with unspoken words.
"You're finally here to see your son," she said, her voice carrying over the din of the bar, stunning both Kate and Javi into silence.
Tyler leaned back, his smirk unfaltering. "Javi, Kate, this isâ"
"Your wife?" Kate interrupted, her voice a mixture of disbelief and curiosity.
The woman cut him off coldly. "I left you."
Tyler's smirk hardened slightly. "You threw a shoe and your rings at me. You never signed any papers."
A tense silence hung in the air, the lively noise of the bar feeling oddly distant as Kate and Javi exchanged bewildered looks. The womanâs eyes flashed with something fiery and unresolved, and Tylerâs demeanour remained unyielding, the confrontation a clear indication of a long-standing, complex history.
"This is YN," Tyler finally said, his voice softer but firm. "Sheâs my wife."
"Ex-wife," YN corrected, though her voice lacked the finality the words should have carried.
The revelation settled over Javi and Kate like a storm cloud, both of them struggling to process this unexpected twist. The woman standing before them was more than just a bartender; she was a pivotal piece of Tylerâs life that he had kept hidden until now.
"Well," Javi said, breaking the silence with a forced chuckle, "this just got interesting."
Kate nodded, her gaze flicking between Tyler and YN, trying to piece together the story that lay between them.
Tyler held YNâs gaze, his eyes conveying a mix of regret and determination. "Iâm here now. Weâve got things to talk about."
YN crossed her arms, her expression unreadable. "Iâm going to get Noah," she said, turning sharply on her heel and heading toward the back of the bar.
Tyler watched her go, his face softening as he turned back to Kate and Javi. "I wanted you guys to meet my family."
Kate opened her mouth to speak, but the words seemed to escape her. Javi simply shook his head, still trying to process the unexpected turn of events.
The tension was palpable, but beneath it all was a thread of something moreâan unfinished story, a connection that hadnât yet been severed, no matter how frayed it had become.
As the noise of the bar began to filter back in, the dynamic between the four of them had shifted irrevocably. The past had resurfaced, bringing with it questions, emotions, and unresolved conflicts that would need to be addressed.
The noise of the bar buzzed around them, but Tyler, Javi, and Kate were lost in their own thoughts, processing the revelation and the tension that had just unfolded. Moments later, the door to the back of the bar swung open, and a small figure came running out.
Seven-year-old Noah, with tousled hair and bright eyes, darted through the crowd. His face lit up with pure joy and disbelief as he spotted Tyler. "Dad!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the noise.
Tylerâs eyes softened, and he stood up just in time to catch Noah as he launched himself into his arms. Tyler engulfed his son in a big hug, lifting him off the ground as he held him tightly. The boyâs arms wrapped around his fatherâs neck, holding on as if he were afraid to let go.
"I can't believe you're here, Dad!" Noah exclaimed, his voice muffled against Tylerâs shoulder. He pulled back just enough to look at his fatherâs face, his eyes wide with happiness and surprise.
Tyler chuckled, ruffling Noahâs hair. "Of course Iâm here, buddy. Iâve missed you."
Javi and Kate watched the reunion with a mix of emotions, their earlier confusion and tension melting away in the face of Noah's obvious delight. Kateâs eyes misted over as she saw the unfiltered joy on Noahâs face, while Javi couldnât help but smile at the touching scene.
Noah glanced over at Javi and Kate, his curiosity piqued. "Who are they, Dad?" he asked, still clinging to Tyler.
Tyler gently set Noah down, keeping a hand on his shoulder. "These are my friends, Javi and Kate. Theyâre like family to me."
Noah looked at them with wide eyes, a shy smile spreading across his face. "Hi," he said softly.
"Hey, Noah," Javi said warmly, giving a little wave. "Nice to meet you, buddy."
Kate crouched down to Noahâs level, her smile gentle and reassuring. "Hi, Noah. Itâs great to meet you."
Noah beamed at that, clearly pleased. He looked back up at Tyler, his face serious for a moment. "Are you staying this time, Dad?"
Tylerâs expression grew solemn as he met his sonâs gaze. "Iâm here now, Noah. Weâve got a lot to talk about, but I promise Iâm not going anywhere."
From the bar, YN watched the reunion with a mix of emotions, her hands resting on her hips. The sight of Noah so happy to see his father softened her stern demeanour, though there was still a guarded look in her eyes.
"Why donât we all sit down and catch up?" Tyler suggested, his voice gentle as he glanced at YN.
She hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Alright. But remember, this doesnât change anything," she said, though the edge in her voice was less sharp than before.
The initial excitement of the reunion began to settle, and Tyler looked at YN with a mix of hope and determination. "Weâre down here for a week," he said, his voice steady. "Would it be alright if I took Noah to stay with me?"
YNâs eyes narrowed slightly, her protective instincts kicking in. "Stay with you? In some lousy motel room?" she asked, her tone dripping with scepticism.
Javi and Kate exchanged glances, noting how Noah seemed accustomed to his parents' tension. He watched the exchange quietly, his small hands clutching the edge of the table.
Tyler sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I donât have anywhere else to bring him for the night," he admitted.
Noah looked up at his mom, his eyes wide and pleading. "Please, Mom. Can Dad and his friends stay with us?"
YN hesitated, her eyes softening as she looked at her son. "Noah, you have your big soccer camp in a different state tomorrow," she reminded him, her voice gentle but firm.
Tyler's eyes widened in surprise. "Soccer camp? I didnât know you played soccer, buddy."
YNâs expression hardened again, her eyes flashing with irritation. "If youâd been around, youâd know," she snapped.
A moment of heavy silence passed between them before YN sighed, her shoulders relaxing slightly. "Fine," she said, her tone resigned. "You can stay at the house for the week. But Iâm serious, Tylerâif you touch anything, Iâll cut your balls off."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a set of keys, handing them to Tyler. "Iâve got to wrap up here. Iâll be home soon."
Tyler took the keys, his expression a mixture of relief and gratitude. "Thanks, YN. I promise weâll be respectful."
Noah's face lit up with a smile, and he hugged his mom tightly. "Thank you, Mom!"
YNâs stern expression softened as she hugged Noah back, brushing a hand through his hair. "Go on, get your stuff together. Weâll leave in a bit."
Noah nodded eagerly and dashed off toward the back of the bar, excitement evident in his every step.
Tyler turned to Javi and Kate, who were still absorbing the unexpected developments. "Looks like we have a place to stay," he said with a small smile.
Javi chuckled, shaking his head. "This is not what I expected when we set out today."
Kate nodded, a thoughtful look on her face. "No, but itâs⊠interesting. I think itâs good for you, Tyler."
YN glanced back at them, her expression softening slightly. "You three make yourselves comfortable. Iâll be done soon, and then we can head home."
-
As the night wore on, the bar gradually began to thin out. YN moved with practiced efficiency, announcing last call and starting to kick out the lingering patrons, both men and women, who had stayed for one last drink. The bar's noise ebbed as people shuffled out, some grumbling, others laughing, but all eventually making their way to the door.
Tyler, Javi, and Kate watched as YNâs no-nonsense approach cleared the room. She pulled down the metal protectors over the windows, the loud clanging echoing through the now quiet bar, locking them from the inside. Meanwhile, Noah sat with his dad, chattering about school and his friends, filling Tyler in on all the little details he had missed.
YN made her way around the bar, ensuring everything was locked up securely. She checked the register, wiped down the counter, and flipped off the neon lights, leaving only the dim overhead bulbs casting a soft glow over the room. Finally, she approached the booth where Tyler, Javi, Kate, and Noah sat.
"Alright, time to go," she said, her tone brisk but not unkind. She looked down at Noah, a question in her eyes. "Are you driving back with me or your dad?"
Noah glanced up at Tyler, his eyes full of hope. "Can I go with Dad, Mom? Please?"
YN hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Alright. But you stay close to him, okay?"
Noah nodded eagerly, bouncing off the booth and grabbing his dad's hand. Tyler smiled, a wave of relief washing over him.
The group stood and followed YN to the front of the bar. She unlocked the door, the cool night air rushing in as they stepped outside. Tyler glanced back, taking in the now quiet bar with a sense of nostalgia.
YN stepped out after them, locking the door and pulling it shut with a finality that echoed in the stillness of the night. "You better take care of him," she said, her voice a mix of warning and something softer, something almost hopeful.
Tyler nodded. "I will."
She gave a small, almost imperceptible smile before turning to Noah. "I'll see you at home, kiddo. Behave for your dad, okay?"
Noah hugged her tightly. "I will, Mom. I promise."
With that, YN got into her car, the engine roaring to life as she pulled out of the parking lot. Tyler, Javi, Kate, and Noah watched her go, the taillights disappearing into the night.
Tyler looked down at Noah, who was beaming up at him. "Ready to go home, buddy?"
Noah nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! Let's go!"
As they drove through the quiet streets, the hum of the truckâs engine filled the space with a comforting rhythm. Noah, sitting in the front seat in front of Tyler and Kate, couldnât contain his excitement. His eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as he turned to Kate and Javi, eager to share the details of his upcoming soccer camp.
âI canât wait for the soccer camp tomorrow!â Noah said, his voice bubbling with excitement. âItâs gonna be so much fun!â
Kate, sitting behind him, smiled warmly. âThat sounds amazing, Noah. Whatâs so special about this camp?â
Noahâs face lit up even more as he spoke. âItâs a big camp where lots of kids from different places come to learn new soccer skills and play games. Thereâs even gonna be a mini-tournament at the end!â
Javi, sitting in the backseat, leaned forward, clearly intrigued. âWow, that sounds like a blast! Do you play a lot of soccer at school too?â
âYeah!â Noah replied eagerly. âIâm on the school team, and weâve been practicing a lot. This camp is going to be so cool because Iâll get to learn from really good coaches and play with kids from other schools.â
Tyler glanced at Noah, a proud smile tugging at his lips. âSounds like youâve been working hard. Iâm really proud of you, Noah.â
Noahâs smile widened at his dadâs praise. âThanks, Dad! And guess what? My Uncle Matt is bringing me down to the camp tomorrow afternoon.â
Javi raised an eyebrow. âYour uncle?â
âYeah,â Noah nodded vigorously. âHeâs my momâs brother. He lives a few hours away, but heâs coming to pick me up and drive me to the camp. I havenât seen him in ages, and he promised heâd take me for ice cream on the way.â
Kate looked impressed. âThat sounds like a lot of fun. It must be nice to have family supporting you.â
Noah nodded enthusiastically. âYeah, it is! Uncle Matt always makes things fun. He even used to play soccer with Mom when they were kids.â
Tylerâs gaze softened as he listened to Noahâs excitement. âIâm glad youâre so excited about the camp.â
Noah nodded, his eyes shining with anticipation. âI am! And Iâm really happy youâre here, Dad. I canât wait to tell you all about it when I get back.â
Tyler glanced at Javi and Kate, sharing a look that conveyed both appreciation and a renewed sense of purpose. This week was more than just a break; it was a chance to reconnect with his son, to be a part of his life in a way he hadnât been able to before.
The truck rumbled up the gravel driveway, and as the headlights illuminated the house, the group caught their first glimpse of Noah's home. It was a charming ranch-style house, with a wide, welcoming front porch that extended across the front. The house had a warm, rustic appeal, its wooden siding painted a soft, weathered beige that blended harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. The wind, which had picked up slightly, rustled through the tall grass that framed the property, adding to the serene yet lively atmosphere.
As Tyler, Kate, and Javi stepped out of the truck, they were immediately met with the enthusiastic barking of Noahâs two German Shepherds. The dogs, bounding with energy, leaped toward them, their barks echoing in the cool evening air. Their fur was sleek and shiny, and their eyes glinted with excitement as they approached.
Javi laughed, holding his hands up in a gesture of friendly surrender. âWow, those dogs really know how to make an entrance!â
Noah, already bursting with excitement, unbuckled his seatbelt and jumped out of the truck. He raced across the driveway, his footsteps quick and light as he ran toward the porch. The dogs, recognizing him instantly, turned their attention away from the newcomers and bounded after Noah, their tails wagging furiously.
Tyler and Kate watched with smiles as Noah reached the porch and threw himself into his motherâs arms. YN, standing on the porch with a warm smile, embraced Noah tightly, her expression softening as she held him close. The sight of the mother and son reunion was heart-warming, a clear sign of the strong bond they shared despite the complications.
Kate nudged Tyler gently, a playful glint in her eyes. âYou know, the resemblance really proves Noah is definitely your child. Look at him, heâs got your energy.â
Tyler chuckled, a hint of pride in his voice. âYeah, I guess he does.â
As YN set Noah down, she looked up and offered a polite nod to Kate and Javi, her demeanour shifting to one of friendly hospitality. âWelcome to our home, Kate, Javi. Itâs good to have you here.â
âThanks for having us,â Kate replied warmly, returning YNâs smile. âYour place is beautiful.â
âYeah, thanks for letting us stay,â Javi added, his tone appreciative.
YN's smile faded slightly as her gaze shifted to Tyler, her expression turning cold. âLetâs get your bags inside,â she said, her tone losing its warmth. âIâll show you to the guest rooms.â
Tyler, feeling the chill in her voice, nodded. âThanks, YN.â
They began unloading their bags from the truck, the dogs playfully nipping at their heels. The house, with its wide front porch and sprawling lawn, had a comfortable, lived-in feel. It was a stark contrast to the bustling city and the more impersonal surroundings Tyler was used to.
Once the bags were all gathered, they followed YN and Noah into the house. The interior was cozy, with warm wooden floors, rustic furniture, and an inviting atmosphere. YN led them through the front door, and the scent of home-cooked meals and fresh pine greeted them.
Noah, holding onto his momâs hand, turned to Tyler with a big smile. âCome on, Dad! I want to show you my room!â
YNâs expression softened as she looked at her sonâs excitement but remained cool towards Tyler. âAlright, Noah. Letâs get your dad and his friends settled first.â
She led them down a hallway, pointing out rooms as they went. âKate, Javi, youâll be in here,â she said, opening the door to a charming guest room. âThere are fresh towels in the closet and extra blankets if you need them.â
âThank you,â Kate said, her smile appreciative. Javi nodded in agreement, taking in the room with a grateful glance.
YN then turned to Tyler, her demeanour growing even colder. âTyler, youâll be in this room,â she said, opening the door to a smaller but comfortable room. âIf you need anything, just ask.â
Tyler placed his bag inside, feeling the weight of the tension between them. âThanks, YN,â he said quietly.
YN didnât respond immediately, instead turning her attention to Noah. âNoah, why donât you show your dad around while I finish up a few things?â
Noah nodded eagerly, grabbing Tylerâs hand. âCome on, Dad! I canât wait to show you everything!â
Tyler allowed himself to be led down the hall, feeling a mix of hope and trepidation. As he looked back, he saw YN watching them, her expression a complicated mix of emotions.
-
The late evening had settled into a calm, quiet stillness, the only sounds being the gentle creaking of the old ranch house and the occasional rustle of leaves outside. After a full day, Tyler had just put Noah to bed, reading him a story and watching as his sonâs eyes grew heavy with sleep. Satisfied that Noah was comfortably settled, he quietly exited the room, closing the door softly behind him.
Down the hall, the dim light of the kitchen spilled into the hallway, casting a warm, subdued glow. Tyler walked towards it, curious. As he reached the kitchen, he saw YN packing a bag on the table, her movements deliberate and methodical. She was gathering Noahâs football boots, kit, and other essentials, making sure everything was in place for the big soccer camp.
YN didnât notice Tyler at first, her focus entirely on her task. The soft light highlighted the determined set of her jaw and the slight furrow of concentration on her brow. Tyler stood at the threshold for a moment, taking in the scene, before he cleared his throat gently to announce his presence.
YN looked up, her expression unreadable in the dim light. âHeâs asleep?â she asked, her voice steady but quiet.
Tyler nodded, stepping into the kitchen. âYeah, heâs out like a light. I read him one of his favourite stories.â
YN gave a small, almost imperceptible nod and continued packing. âHe always loved bedtime stories. Especially the ones about tornadoes.â
Tyler watched her for a moment, then spoke softly. âYouâre packing his bag for the camp?â
âYes,â YN replied curtly, not looking up. âHeâs got a lot to take with him, and I want to make sure he has everything he needs or more.â
Tyler moved a little closer, his gaze following her hands as she carefully folded Noahâs kit and placed it into the bag. âCan I help?â
YN paused, her hands still for a moment, then she sighed softly. âSure. You can check if his water bottle is in the fridge. Heâll need that filled and ready.â
Tyler nodded, grateful for even this small opportunity to assist. He walked over to the fridge, retrieving the water bottle and filling it at the sink. The silence between them was thick, filled with unspoken words and lingering tension.
After a few moments, Tyler spoke again. âHeâs really excited about this camp. Itâs all he talked about on the drive here.â
YNâs hands stilled again, and she looked up, her eyes meeting his. âHeâs been looking forward to it for months. Itâs a big deal for him.â
Tyler nodded, feeling the weight of her words. âIâm glad he has something like this. Heâs a great kid.â
âYes, he is,â YN agreed, her voice softening slightly.
Tyler set the filled water bottle on the table and, in a sudden impulse, stepped closer to YN, wrapping his arms around her waist. She jerked back, startled, and pushed him away, her eyes flashing with a mix of surprise and anger.
âTyler, we canât do this every time youâre here,â she said, her voice firm and edged with frustration. âWe act all happy, kiss, fuck, and then you leave. I wonât allow that.â
But as Tylerâs eyes locked onto hers, filled with a longing that mirrored her own buried emotions, he wrapped his hand gently around her neck and pulled her closer. His lips met hers in a deep, passionate kiss, pressing her against the table. YN resisted for a moment, her hands on his chest ready to push him away, but then she caved, her defences crumbling as the kiss deepened.
The world outside the kitchen seemed to disappear as they lost themselves in the moment. The kiss was filled with unspoken words, regrets, and a raw, undeniable connection that neither could ignore. Tylerâs hand slid from her neck to the small of her back, pulling her even closer, while YNâs hands slowly moved up to tangle in his hair.
Finally, they broke apart, both breathing heavily, the intensity of the moment hanging in the air between them. YN looked into Tylerâs eyes, a mix of anger, longing, and vulnerability in her gaze.
âThis doesnât change anything,â she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. âYou still have a lot to prove.â
âI know,â Tyler replied, his voice equally soft but resolute. âAnd I will. I promise.â
YN took a deep breath, stepping back and smoothing her hair. âWe should finish packing. Noah needs to be ready for tomorrow.â
Tyler nodded, a small, hopeful smile tugging at his lips. âYeah, letâs finish up.â
YN finished packing the bag, zipping it closed with a final, decisive motion. She straightened up, looking at Tyler with a mix of determination and lingering hurt. âJust donât disappoint him, Tyler. You had let down enough.â
Tyler swallowed, the weight of her words settling heavily on his shoulders. âI wonât,â he promised. âIâll do everything I can to be the father he deserves.â
YN nodded, a slight, weary smile touching her lips. âGood night, Tyler.â
âGood night, YN,â he replied, watching as she turned and left the kitchen, the dim light casting long shadows behind her.
-
The next morning, the ranch was bathed in the soft, golden light of dawn. Birds chirped in the trees, and a gentle breeze rustled through the leaves, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The tranquillity was occasionally punctuated by the sounds of preparation, as YN and her brother Matt stood by his truck, loading up Noahâs bag for the soccer camp.
Noah, bouncing with excitement, was saying his goodbyes to Tyler, Kate, and Javi. He hugged Kate and Javi, thanking them for their visit, before turning to his father. Tyler knelt down to Noahâs level, wrapping his son in a big hug.
âHave a great time at camp, buddy,â Tyler said, ruffling Noahâs hair. âIâm really proud of you.â
Tyler replied with a smile. âIâll see you soon, okay?â
Noah nodded, then ran over to where Matt was loading the last of his gear into the truck. Matt, a tall, sturdy man with an easy-going demeanour, lifted Noahâs bag effortlessly and placed it in the back of the truck. He gave his nephew a high-five before turning to his sister.
As Noah clambered into the truck, Matt leaned closer to YN, his expression curious. âDid yâall fuck again?â he asked, his tone genuine and slightly teasing.
YNâs eyes widened, and she quickly elbowed him in the ribs. âNo,â she hissed, glancing around to make sure no one else heard. âGod, Matt, why would you ask that?â
Matt rubbed his side, a smirk playing at his lips. âJust curious. You had that look in your eye this morning.â
âWhat look?â YN shot back, her voice low but sharp.
âThe one that says youâre all conflicted and worked up,â Matt replied, his tone softening slightly. âJust concerned about you.â
YN sighed, her shoulders slumping a bit. âItâs complicated, Matt. But no, nothing happened. Weâre just trying to figure things out for Noahâs sake.â
Matt nodded, his expression turning serious. âI get it. Just make sure youâre taking care of yourself too, okay?â
âI will,â YN promised, giving her brother a grateful smile. âThanks, Matt.â
Tyler walked over to join them, his gaze shifting between YN and Matt. âEverything set?â he asked, trying to keep his tone casual.
âYeah, weâre all good,â Matt replied, giving Tyler a nod. âNoahâs ready to go.â
Noah popped his head out of the truck, waving enthusiastically. âBye, Dad! Bye, Kate! Bye, Javi! See you soon!â
âBye, Noah!â Kate and Javi called back, waving.
Tyler smiled and waved, his heart swelling with pride and a tinge of sadness. âBye, Noah. Have fun, and listen to your uncle, okay?â
âI will!â Noah shouted back, his excitement evident.
With everything in place, Matt climbed into the driverâs seat and started the engine. YN gave Noah one last hug and a kiss on the forehead before stepping back.
After watching the truck disappear down the road, YN and Tyler turned back toward the house. As they walked, the silence between them was heavy but not uncomfortable. They reached the front porch where Javi and Kate were waiting, enjoying the fresh morning air.
YN gave them a warm smile. âSo, are you two as madly obsessed with tornadoes as Tyler?â she asked, her tone playful but genuinely curious.
Javi chuckled, exchanging a glance with Kate. âPretty much. Itâs kind of hard not to be when youâre around him.â
Kate nodded, grinning. âYeah, itâs definitely infectious. Tylerâs passion rubs off on everyone.â
YNâs smile widened a bit, and she motioned for them to follow her. âWell, come with me. I want to show you something.â
Curious, Javi and Kate followed YN, with Tyler trailing slightly behind. She led them across the yard to a large shed. As she opened the door, they stepped inside and were immediately struck by the sight of a whiteboard covered with detailed tornado studies, including diagrams, photographs, and various notes. The walls were lined with shelves full of meteorological instruments and equipment.
âWow,â Kate breathed, her eyes wide with amazement. âThis is incredible.â
Tyler stepped forward, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips. âYN used to chase tornadoes with me when we became married. She was just as passionate about it as I was.â
YN turned to face them, her expression a mixture of pride and practicality. âYeah, I was. We made a great team, tracking storms and gathering data. But after I had Noah, things changed. Babies are expensive, and I needed a real job to support us.â
Her gaze shifted to Tyler, a hint of tension in her eyes. âTornado chasing doesnât exactly pay the bills.â
Javi and Kate listened, sensing the complexity of YNâs feelings. Javi stepped closer to the whiteboard, studying the detailed notes and diagrams. âYou really know your stuff. Itâs clear you wereâand still areâa huge asset in the field.â
YNâs expression softened, appreciating the acknowledgment. âThank you. I still follow the research and keep up with the latest developments. Itâs hard to let go completely.â
Kate nodded, glancing between YN and Tyler. âIt must have been amazing to chase storms together. But I understand why you had to make that choice.â
YN smiled gently, a mix of gratitude and bittersweet memories in her eyes. âIt was amazing. And I donât regret any of it. But priorities change, and I had to put Noah first.â
YN cleared her throat, drawing everyoneâs attention back to the whiteboard. She pointed to a specific section filled with charts, graphs, and a detailed map marked with various weather patterns and historical data.
âBased on the latest alerts and previous occurrences, thereâs a high probability that a tornado might strike today,â YN explained, her voice steady and professional. âThe conditions are almost identical to past events that resulted in tornadoes in this area.â
Javi and Kate leaned in closer, examining the data with keen interest. Tylerâs eyes narrowed as he followed YNâs explanation, his mind already shifting into storm-chaser mode.
âIâve been monitoring the weather patterns all week,â YN continued. âAnd everything indicates that weâre due for some severe weather today. The wind shear, humidity, and temperature changes are all pointing towards a potential tornado formation.â
Kate glanced at YN, impressed. âYou really havenât lost your touch, YN. This is some detailed analysis.â
YN smiled modestly. âThanks. Itâs hard to shake off old habits.â
As they looked out the window of the shed, they noticed the wind beginning to pick up. The leaves on the trees rustled vigorously, and the sky had taken on a slightly ominous hue, with dark clouds gathering in the distance.
Tyler stepped closer to the window, his instincts kicking in. âYouâre right. The windâs starting to stir up. We need to be prepared.â
YN nodded, her expression serious. âWe need to keep a close eye on the weather reports and be ready to take cover if necessary. This area is no stranger to tornadoes, and weâve got to stay vigilant.â
Javi turned to Tyler, his excitement barely contained. âShould we gear up and get the equipment ready? If a tornado does form, weâll want to be ready to gather data.â
Tyler hesitated, glancing at YN. âWhat do you think? We donât want to put anyone at risk.â
YN considered for a moment, then nodded. âWe can set up some basic monitoring equipment around the property, but safety comes first. Weâll stay close to the house and make sure we have a safe place to take cover if things get serious.â
Kate started jotting down notes, already planning the setup. âWeâll need to monitor wind speeds, humidity levels, and temperature changes. Iâll get the anemometers and barometers from the truck.â
As they worked together to prepare, the tension in the air grew. The wind outside continued to pick up, whipping through the trees and sending small debris skittering across the yard. Dark clouds loomed overhead, casting an eerie shadow over the landscape.
Tyler turned to YN, his expression a mix of determination and concern. âYN, would you want to go chasing tornadoes again? Just like old times?â
YN paused, the question hanging in the air. She looked at Tyler, a swirl of emotions in her eyes. âAre you serious?â
Tyler nodded. âYeah. Itâs been a long time, and I miss having you out there with me. Besides, with the conditions today, we could really use your expertise.â
YN looked out the window, the wind howling louder now. Her passion for storm chasing still burned bright, and the thought of getting back out there, even just for a day, was tempting. She turned back to Tyler, a determined smile forming on her lips. âAlright. Letâs do it. But we stay safe, and we stay smart but I bet that's hard for you.â
Tylerâs face lit up with a mix of relief and excitement. âDeal.â
YN and Tyler sprinted toward his truck. The wind was picking up rapidly, whipping their hair and clothes as they ran. Tyler reached the truck first, yanking open the back and checking the equipment. Barrels, sensors, and cameras were all securely fastened, ready for deployment.
âWeâre good to go!â Tyler shouted over the roar of the wind, giving YN a thumbs-up.
YN nodded, her heart pounding with a mix of adrenaline and anticipation. âLetâs make sure everything is double-checked. We canât afford any mistakes out there.â
Together, they quickly went through a mental checklist, ensuring every piece of equipment was in place and ready for action. Meanwhile, Kate and Javi were hustling to pack up the radars and additional monitoring gear. They worked with practiced efficiency, their movements swift and precise.
âRadars are set!â Kate called out as she slammed the tailgate of their support vehicle shut.
Javi gave a quick nod, securing the last of the equipment. âWeâre ready. Letâs get moving before this thing really kicks off.â
The group piled into Tylerâs truck, the atmosphere inside charged with excitement and urgency. Tyler took the driverâs seat, YN sliding in beside him. Javi and Kate squeezed into the back, their eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of the impending storm.
As they pulled out of the driveway, the wind was already strong enough to rock the truck slightly. Dark, menacing clouds swirled above, casting an eerie shadow over the landscape. Tyler kept one hand on the wheel, the other adjusting the radio to the local weather station for updates.
âWe need to get to the very center of it,â YN said, her voice steady but filled with determination. âThatâs where weâll get the most accurate data.â
Tyler nodded, his eyes focused on the road ahead. âWeâll head west. Thatâs where the reports are indicating the strongest activity. Everyone, keep your eyes peeled.â
The truck sped down the rural roads, the wind howling louder with each passing minute. Leaves and small branches were whipped into the air, and the sky grew darker, an ominous prelude to the stormâs fury.
Kate leaned forward from the back seat, her voice tense but excited. âIâm picking up increased rotation on the radar. Itâs definitely forming.â
Javi was already setting up the portable radar unit, his fingers flying over the controls. âWeâve got about ten minutes before it hits full force. We need to find a safe spot to deploy the barrels.â
Tyler pushed the truck harder, his foot pressing the accelerator to the floor. âWeâre almost there. Everyone, get ready.â
They arrived at an open field, a perfect spot to launch their equipment without any obstructions. Tyler brought the truck to a screeching halt, and they all jumped out, working quickly to unload the barrels and sensors. The wind whipped around them, making every movement a struggle.
âSet the barrels here!â YN shouted, pointing to strategic spots around the field. âWe need a wide spread to get the best data.â
They worked in synchrony, years of experience guiding their actions. Barrels were placed, sensors activated, and cameras positioned to capture every angle of the stormâs development. The wind was now almost deafening, the first drops of rain starting to pelt down.
âOkay, everythingâs in place!â Javi yelled, his voice barely audible over the howling wind.
Tyler gave a final check, ensuring everything was secure. âBack in the truck, now! We need to move to a safe distance.â
They scrambled back into the truck, slamming the doors shut against the force of the wind. Tyler drove them a short distance away, finding a spot where they could monitor the barrels and sensors without being in immediate danger.
Inside the truck, the tension was palpable. They watched as the storm continued to build, the radar showing increasing rotation and intensity.
âHere it comes,â YN said quietly, her eyes glued to the horizon. âGet ready, everyone.â
As they turned the truck around to face the direction they had come from, the tornado materialized in full force. It was a monstrous, swirling vortex, far stronger and more violent than any of them had anticipated. The sheer power of it took their breath away, and for a moment, there was stunned silence inside the truck.
"Tyler, hit the gas!" Javi screamed, breaking the spell as the tornado surged closer, the wind howling louder than ever.
Kate clutched the seat in front of her, eyes wide with terror. "Go, go, go! It's coming right at us!"
Tyler didnât need to be told twice. He slammed his foot down on the accelerator, and the truck lurched forward with a roar, tires spinning for a moment before gaining traction. The engine roared as they sped away from the impending doom.
YN gripped the dashboard, her knuckles white. âDrive into town! We need to get to the shelter!â she yelled, her voice barely audible over the deafening noise of the storm and the wail of the tornado sirens that had just started blaring in the distance.
Tyler's eyes were locked on the road, his focus razor-sharp as he maneuverer the truck through the increasingly treacherous conditions. Debris flew through the air, and the rain was coming down in blinding sheets, making visibility almost zero. He squinted through the windshield, barely making out the shapes of trees and houses as they sped past.
The wind buffeted the truck from side to side, each gust threatening to push them off the road. Javi and Kate huddled in the back, gripping whatever they could to steady themselves. The tension was palpable, fear mixing with adrenaline as they raced against natureâs fury.
âWeâre almost there!â Tyler shouted, though the words were more for his own reassurance than anything else. He could see the outline of the town ahead, the familiar shapes of buildings providing a glimmer of hope.
As they barrelled into town, the sirens wailed louder, their eerie wail cutting through the chaos. People scrambled for cover, but it was clear there was no dedicated shelter nearby. The streets were filled with panic-stricken faces, families huddling together, and everyone looking desperately for a place to hide.
âThere!â YN pointed towards the old cinema, its marquee flickering in the storm. âWe need to get everyone inside! Itâs our best shot!â
Tyler swerved towards the cinema, the truck skidding slightly on the wet pavement but maintaining control. They reached the cinema just as the tornado seemed to roar with renewed fury, the swirling winds growing even more intense.
âEveryone out! Now!â Tyler commanded, slamming the truck into park and jumping out.
They all scrambled out of the truck, running towards the entrance of the cinema. Tyler and YN threw the doors open, ushering people inside. The lobby quickly filled with a mass of frightened, drenched townspeople, their faces masks of fear and urgency.
âThereâs no basement!â a man shouted, panic rising in his voice as he scanned the building.
âWeâll have to make do!â YN yelled back, trying to maintain some semblance of order. âEveryone, get to the back of the theatre! Away from the windows!â
They herded everyone into the main auditorium, the old seats creaking as people pressed in tightly. The walls shuddered with each gust of wind, and the overhead lights flickered ominously. Tyler, YN, Javi, and Kate took positions by the doors, doing their best to calm the panicked crowd.
âKeep away from the doors and windows!â Tyler shouted, trying to be heard over the growing cacophony. âGet down and cover your heads!â
The wind outside was deafening, a relentless howl that seemed to penetrate the very walls of the cinema. The roof groaned under the pressure, and with a horrifying screech, a section of it began to peel away. Dust and debris rained down, and the crowd screamed in terror.
âStay calm!â YN tried to shout, her voice nearly drowned out. She grabbed a young mother clutching her child and guided them to the relative safety of the aisle. âStay low and cover your heads!â
Tyler ran to the centre of the auditorium, his voice strong and commanding. âEveryone, stay together! Weâll get through this!â
Javi and Kate moved through the crowd, helping to calm people and keep them as safe as possible. But the noise was overwhelming, and the fear was palpable. The building shuddered violently as another section of the roof began to rip away, exposing them to the fury of the storm.
A fierce wind gust whipped through the open space, sending papers and loose objects flying. The sound was like a freight train bearing down on them, and the temperature seemed to drop as the tornado closed in.
Tyler grabbed YNâs hand, his eyes locking onto hers with a mixture of determination and fear. âWe need to hold on. Weâve faced worse before.â
YN nodded, squeezing his hand back.
Suddenly, the main doors blew open, the wind slamming them against the walls. People screamed as the full force of the storm invaded the theatre. Tyler and YN ran to secure the doors, but the wind was too strong, making it nearly impossible.
âGet back!â Javi shouted, pulling them away just as another piece of the roof tore off, sending debris raining down.
They retreated to the back of the theatre, joining the huddled mass of townspeople. YN shielded a young girl with her body, while Tyler did the same for an elderly couple. The wind roared, and the structure of the building groaned as if it might collapse at any moment.
Then, as suddenly as it had begun, the wind seemed to lose some of its ferocity. The howling diminished to a deafening roar, and the debris stopped flying. The eye of the storm passed over them, giving a brief respite.
Tyler looked up, panting. âWe need to move. If weâre in the eye, the other side of the tornado will hit soon. We need to find a more secure spot.â
YN nodded, urgency in her eyes. âEveryone, stay close! We need to move quickly and find better cover!â
But before they could organize the next move, the wind picked up again, signalling the approach of the tornadoâs second half. The noise returned, louder than before, and the remaining sections of the roof began to buckle.
âHold on to something!â Kate screamed, gripping a nearby seat.
The stormâs fury was unrelenting, the howling wind now a deafening roar that consumed everything. Inside the theatre, the panicked crowd clung desperately to the metal railings that lined the aisles, their white-knuckled grips their only anchor against the tornadoâs immense force.
âHold on tight!â Tyler shouted, his voice barely audible over the cacophony. He braced himself against the railing, his other arm wrapped protectively around YN.
Debris swirled through the air, and the theatre's walls creaked ominously. A sudden gust of wind tore through the room, lifting seats and sending smaller objects flying. A few unfortunate souls lost their grip and were swept away, their screams lost in the maelstrom.
YNâs fingers were slipping on the railing, the sweat and dust making it nearly impossible to hold on. âTyler!â she cried out, her voice filled with fear as she felt her grip weakening.
Tylerâs heart pounded in his chest as he saw YNâs desperate struggle. He reached out, his hand closing around her wrist just as her fingers slipped free. âIâve got you!â he yelled, his voice a mix of determination and fear.
The wind howled with renewed ferocity, and Tyler tightened his grip, pulling YN closer. She clung to him, her body trembling with the effort to stay grounded. Around them, the chaos continued, people holding on for dear life as the storm battered the theatre.
A particularly strong gust rocked the building, and Tyler felt his own hold on the railing waver. He gritted his teeth, using every ounce of strength to keep both himself and YN anchored. âDonât let go!â he shouted, his voice raw with strain.
YNâs eyes met his, wide with fear but also filled with trust. âI wonât,â she promised, her voice barely more than a whisper.
As the storm raged on, the moments stretched into what felt like an eternity. Tyler could feel his muscles burning, every tendon straining to keep his grip. He glanced around, seeing Javi and Kate nearby, their faces set with grim determination as they held on.
âHold tight, everyone!â Kate screamed, her voice cutting through the noise. âWeâre almost through this!â
The theatre's structure groaned under the pressure, the walls and ceiling shaking as the tornadoâs full force bore down on them. The wind was a relentless beast, tugging at everything in its path. Tylerâs grip tightened on YNâs wrist, his other hand aching from holding onto the railing.
Suddenly, a piece of the ceiling gave way, crashing down with a deafening noise. Dust and debris filled the air, and for a moment, it was impossible to see or breathe. Tyler coughed, his eyes stinging, but he didnât loosen his grip.
âStay with me, YN!â he shouted, his voice hoarse.
âIâm here!â she responded, her voice strong despite the fear.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the wind began to subside. The roar of the tornado faded to a distant howl, and the violent shaking of the building eased. The storm was passing, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Tyler took a deep, shaky breath, his muscles screaming in protest as he slowly released his grip on the railing. He pulled YN into a tight embrace, relief flooding through him. âWe made it,â he whispered, his voice filled with exhaustion and relief.
YN clung to him, her body trembling with the aftershocks of fear and adrenaline. âThank you,â she whispered back, her voice choked with emotion.
Without thinking, driven by an overwhelming surge of emotion, Tyler cupped YNâs face in his hands and kissed her deeply. It was a kiss filled with relief, love, and a promise of never letting go. The world around them seemed to fade, leaving just the two of them in that moment.
YN responded instantly, her arms wrapping around his neck as she kissed him back with equal fervour. Tears mixed with the dirt on her face, but she didnât care. All that mattered was that they were together, alive, and safe.
When they finally broke apart, YN looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. âTyler, please,â she whispered, her voice shaking. âNever leave me again. Please.â
Tyler rested his forehead against hers, his breath coming in ragged gasps. âI wonât,â he promised, his voice filled with sincerity. âIâll never leave you again, YN. I swear it.â
They held each other tightly, the chaos around them fading into the background as they found solace in each otherâs arms. The bond that had once been strained was now reinforced by the shared trauma and the depth of their love.
Javi and Kate staggered over, their faces pale but relieved. âIs everyone okay?â Javi asked, his voice rough from the dust and strain.
Tyler nodded, still holding YN close. âWeâre okay. Weâre all okay.â
Kate glanced around the devastated theatre, her eyes wide with disbelief. âThat was⊠Iâve never seen anything like it.â
YN pulled back slightly from Tyler, her hand still holding his. âWe need to make sure everyoneâs accounted for and get the injured some help.â
Tyler nodded, brushing a strand of hair from her face. âRight. Letâs do a headcount and see who needs assistance.â
Together, they moved through the theatre, helping those who had been thrown by the wind and checking on the injured. The sense of community and shared survival was palpable, everyone working together to ensure that no one was left behind.
As they helped an elderly couple to their feet, YN glanced at Tyler, her eyes still filled with emotion. âWeâve faced worse storms, but this⊠this was different.â
Tyler squeezed her hand, offering a small, encouraging smile. "Please let me back to you guys, nearly losing you there hurt me more than leaving you all those years back."
