after last post i started rly thinking about whether or not these guys are good enough for the second gen girls/are red flags or not so i put it in a list. wont be budging on this but i can offer an explaination under cut. coming from the perspective a woman who doesnt like men but has friends that do (an important detail. trust me)

Brady: easiest green flag and the only one! he’s sweet, he plays music, he makes tea, he rides horses, and his face is canonically unappealing so even if he cant fight, you’re probably still safe walking around with him. and even if you’re not, well, he’s a healer. you’ll be fine. 10/10 and once you get used to his face hes kind of cute. i think. if nothing else, he’s maribelle’s son, so he’s probably rich. get that bag, babe!

Owain: total sweetie, loyal, and would name his sword after you. take that as you will. unfortunately his mom won’t allow him to be a nepo baby so hes canonically broke as hell, and what little gold he does have will probably be spent on some of the ugliest jewelry you’ve ever seen. i hope you dont like peace and quiet. 7/10.

Yarne: he’s nice but he has the worst case of anxiety anyone has ever seen in their life so good luck with that. pros: can turn into a rabbit! cons: doesnt wear pants. but i dont judge what youre into. if you were in a horror movie he’d throw you in front of the killer and run. with some xanax he’ll be fine 6/10.

Morgan: debated whether or not i should rank him but were coming at this from a non robin perspective as im trying to pair off the second gen girls right now? so hes here. and unfortunately, favorite son status cant stop this guy from being towards the bottom half. he’s a sweetie for sure, but three months in and you’ll realize he’ll always love his mom more than you. -5000 points but my scale doesnt go that low. 4/10. might forget your name.

Inigo: well, he won’t cheat on you, but its not for lack of trying. 5’7 and really annoying about it. will abandon you for 5 years with the excuse “well this old man REALLY needed my help” get over yourself. his waist will be smaller than yours. 3/10.

Laurent: on the surface, he looks like an unassuming nerd boy. do not fall for it. thats how they get you. underneath all that cursive flowery talk you cant understand is a raging incel betting to be let loose. watch yourself. youre not gonna match his freak, babe, you cant even order extra fries with your sandwich. and!! his hat is stupid!!! 1/10.

What are your favorite ships from Fire Emblem Awakening? Outside from Chrobin, you seem to like: Vaike x Lissa, Henry x Olivia and Frederick x Sumia. I am currently writing a fanfic about the Shepherds and their life's (During, After, and Before the Plegian war) and some of your videos had somewhat been inspiration on how the character's interact with each other. I was hoping if you could give me some insight.

Gladly! Most of my reasoning are going to be from my own messed up headcanon world and because i am a lunatic, i am going to name like 25% of the Awakening cast because I use like 20 units (most of them being child units and dlc) and never switch them out. So im prolly not gonna be much help

Chrom x Robin - Chrobin had always been my favorite, because of the whole Romeo and Juilet thing goin on with Chrom's Exalt blood and Robin with Grima's blood. Plus i imagine that their kids are the strongest in the whole game due to their genetics. I also imagine Robin is the one who REALLY wears the pants in the relationship (even tho Chrom doesn't want to admit it) But I love the image of the royal family being probably the weirdest bunch out of the entire Ylissean Royal bloodline. With Chrom being a man who can't stop breaking things with his immense strength and doesn't think about things all the way, Robin being the technically only smart and logical one, but still doesn't know how to be a proper royal (neither does anyone else in the family), Lucina is smart yeah, but not with common sense. And Morgan is gifted with Robin's intelligence, but somehow manages it to only put it to making traps and finding ways to use Falchion as anything else but a sword.

Frederick x Sumia - Frederick is a perfectionist that married a complete clutz. And Frederick was a complete sweetheart during their conversations. He was so patient with her and never gave her a hard time for her mistakes. Plus Cynthia is practically Sumia who is hyped up on coffee 24/7. So for Frederick to have to deal with his chaotic family everyday, is not only wholesome, but hilarious.

Vaike x Lissa - Vaike was willing to discard his rivalry with Chrom to make Lissa happy when he proposed to her. And he respected her and Chrom for being a royal and not having a boujee attitude. And he said Lissa was "beautiful as a goddess" Plus a big bonus for this ship is that Vaike's and Chrom's rivalry seemed to be passed down to Owain and Morgan

Maribelle x Ricken - I love the fact that both of them are Ylissean nobles and Ricken always tries to prove himself to others that he is not a child but he also wants to restore his house to it's former glory. But a cool little parallel to Ricken and Maribelles relationship is that Maribelle did the same thing to Ricken what she does to Lissa, when Ricken saved her from Gangrel. She became overprotective and tried to get him out of the shepherds in an attempt to protect him

Lon'qu x Cherche - Cherche (being the best girl as always) is the one (out of two) who lifted the burden off of Lon'qu about Ke'ri. Gerome being Lon'qu kid kinda makes sense too. I imagine Gerome is a big loner compared to the rest of the Future Shepherds.

Stahl x Cordelia - This is purely because i think Stahl and Cordelia are neat and Cordelia was the first girl i S-supported when i first got the game 10 years ago. And because im a fool, i figured to put two of my favorite people together. But i will say this tho, Severa with Stahl's hair color is not bad

Henry x Olivia - I feel like this is probably the most chaotic family outta all my favorite ships. Henry is just a lovable killing machine. Olivia is an adorable crit/killing machine. And the stats they give Inigo aint too bad neither. Henry's and Olivia's C support made me fall in love with Henry's character. But Im going to ignore the copy-paste supports with Henry getting mad at Inigo in the B support because its somewhat out of character. But i feel like both Henry and Olivia are always compassionate to their son. Olivia is the tender one, who showers Inigo with love and affection and Henry is the one who always makes sure Inigo never loses his smile. (And completely unrelated to the ship by Inigo having Plegian blood is kinda cool because i ship him with Lucina and she too has Plegian blood, soooo.... yea)

Those are pretty much it. Everyone else is either because i dont use them or they dont have supports other than Robin

(i ask bc i love the different dynamics that one could derive from all the pairings. currently side-eyeing virion and tharja. hc that virion doesn't even know he has a daughter and the guilt when he learns about her and tharja's treatment of her is immense)

listen. listen lon'qu and lissa and parents makes me so so so soft. Like, owain deeeeeefinitely got his personality from both his parents but like. amped up to 11. Lissa's love of a prank? Owain's commitment to the bit. Lon'qu's dramatic reactions? Owain's entire theatre-kid deal.

also i feel like, given everything that happened in the other timeline, owain took it upon himself to be the comedy relief, you know? So he dialled his natural tendency towards being a lil dramatic and loud right up.

Anyway. So Lon'qu taught Owain was taught how to use a sword, hence why they're both swordmasters. Lon'qu really does not Get his son's whole persona thing, but I think Owain isn't quite so over the top around his parents -- at least in the game timeline. He tones it down around them because, unlike in his original time, he doesn't feel like he has to make them laugh the same as he used to. Doomed-timeline Lon'qu definitely laughed at his son's antics, but game-timeline Lon'qu is mostly just confused by them, at first. He doesn't have the history or understanding behind it. All the same, once they get to know each other, Lon'qu does start to get it. He becomes increasingly like doomed-timeline Lon'qu (and doesn't that just cause so many confusing emotions for Owain). He's a lil emotionally stunted, but having a son brings it out of him a bit.

Lissa was actually the parent that Owain knew for longer, so it's weirder for him. The Lissa in the game-timeline is very different to the mother that he knew, so he feels a bit awkward at first. Also.... Owain being a dark mage in Fates... I know Lissa's a cleric BUT hc that she's the one who taght him magic. (He can also use an axe bc she taught him, but he's not as good with it. He prefers swords. They're more elegant and he thinks they look cooler.)

Also lastly... lon'qu x lissa relationship dynamics... she's just the right amount of pushy for him -- she gets him out of his comfort zone in a good way, challenges him. He keeps her steady. She soothes his anxieties and he soothes hers. They meet equally in the middle. Insert something upsetting about Lissa losing the firmest presence in her life when Emm died. Something upsetting about how Chrom couldn't be there for her, because he was caught up in his own shit, so Lissa had Maribelle and, suddenly, Lon'qu.

Brady left the priesthood to become the world's scariest violinist. Noire tried to talk him out of it for fear his divine talents as musician and composer would curse them both to an early grave.

In honor of Brady’s birthday today, I’ve decided to make a few shameless edits of my own ft them in their Meet The Heroes art

We have the Lissabelle family portrait but the boys are just so awkward in them and the second pic has Odin trying to assert his superiority while Brady is just plain annoyed at his baby bro using one foot to step on his back.

Who's the Most Likely, Least Likely, or Maybe Mothers for Lucina based on Classes, looks, supports, and/or mannerisms?

Most Child units inherit the hair color from their fathers (with the exception of Female Morgan, who inherited her mother's hair color, and Lucina). But some parents are more fitting for some child units then others based on Classes, looks, supports, mannerisms, etc. I'm not looking for who would make the kid stronger. Just a parent who would make sense for the Child Units.

This time instead of Fathers, we're looking at Mothers for Lucina. Here's what I've gathered about her.

1.) Lucina seems like a bit of a tomboy (dressing up in masculine clothing, takes on a male persona, and is a very skilled swordswoman). Both Sully (obviously) and Robin (due to her slightly mischievous nature, her stronger interest in swordsmanship than the Male Avatar, and her love for training in general.) can be considered tomboys. Although Lucina also has a few girly tendencies as seen in her Supports. Robin can have feminine side too as seen in her C-Support with Chrom.

2.) Lucina's fighting style incorporates plenty of acrobatic flips and graceful twirls. Although it's Chrom who trains her to fight, I feel that she mixes some of Olivia's dances in it too.

3.) In some of the paralogues involving her potential siblings. Chrom would remark how Lucina neglected to mention she had a brother/sister when confirming the other child's identity. The Nameless Village Maiden, if married to Chrom, has no other children after Lucina

4.) One of Lucina's relationship event tiles has her asking "Mother, why don’t we have a little contest to see whose cooking Father prefers?" Remember both Sully and Robin are terrible cooks.

5.) Lucina's C and B support with her mother has her pick different dresses for her mother. But Lucina has a rather… unique sense of fashion that leaves her mother astonished. The snarkiness in their C Support would fit Sully plus she wouldn't be comfortable with the shopping and the girly stuff. But I feel she would be direct about it instead of thinking about it. Sumia I don't see snarky. Maribelle would be too picky and would comment over Lucina's fashion sense (see how she talks to her husband and Brady). This could fit both Robin and Olivia sense Robin does have her snarky moments and Olivia would be too nervous to to directly say anything about Lucina's fashion sense.

(?) Lucina's C support with her siblings has them being scared of a bug. I don't see Kjelle being scared of a bug. The way Brady talks doesn't make him suitable to be Chrom's son. I can see Cynthia, Morgan, and Inigo being scared of a bug. In Male Morgan's supports with Noire he said he likes bugs but he makes a couple of exceptions, cockroaches (in his sibling C Support with Lucina) and giant fire-breathing scorpions, so it's not too out of character for him to be scared. Before anyone says it's out of character for Inigo to say he'd sooner die loveless and alone than touch a bug, there's a reference to that in Fire Emblem Heroes (https://forums.serenesforest.net/index.php?/topic/94234-spring-inigo-references-lucina%E2%80%99s-sibling-supports-again/). As for Cynthia, well you know her personality. Additional info for possible siblings is that Male Morgan seems to have a few memories of Lucina if he's her sibling and Inigo, if Chrom is his father, has a brand of the royal family in his right eye.

(?) Tiki hints that Chrom is a similar person to a distant ancestor of his. Sigurd married Deirdre, despite not knowing one another long after a chance encounter. There has been rumors that Sigurd is an ancestor of his and he's who Tiki is talking about. If it's true then Therefore, due to Chrom and Sigurd's similar personality and take on the world, and Sigurd and Deirdre's canonical relationship, Chrom and Olivia's marriage could be a reference to this.

Who do you think is the child's units mostly likely, maybe, and least likely parents based on Classes, looks, supports, mannerisms, etc?

I'm not sure if I got everything. There's always a chance I'm missing something but I'm willing to listen to any input and reasons why you think whatever mother is suitable for Lucina.

So I’ve seen you talk about who you think the Awakening Trios dads are (I think the current verdict is Henry!Laslow, Frederick!Selena, and Lon’qu!Odin, but I might be wrong) so I thought I’d share my headcannons/opinions(/ships) from my latest playthrough, just for giggles really and see what your thoughts on them are:

Oh, absolutely right! Henry!Laslow, Frederick!Selena, and Lon’qu!Odin are my current verdict for the Trio's parents! (Although I will admit I have done Libra!Severa in passing before for similar reasons of having Severa have two "perfect" parents, just like with Frederick.) I'm flexible when it comes to HCs though, so I do like seeing other people's ideas for parents too :)

Robin!Lucina and Chrom!Morgan are pretty standard for me too! (Although I think my very first Awakening playthrough had Sully and Chrom marry, for some reason, lol. They were neat!)

Kellam!Kjelle was also a unit I had in at least one playthrough because I just wanted to bulk Kjelle up as much as possible, lol. I don't pay attention to unit stats much, but I wanted the defensive angle for her (also because I was probably pairing the spares at that point; I don't typically use armor units, so Kjelle didn't see much of a fight typically and neither did Kellam. But she was bulky!)

I don't have much to comment about Stahl!Yarne other than I think the brown hair suits him! And Panne and Stahl get along well!

Gaius!Cynthia is very cute! I like her as a redhead! (Although I default to her as a blond or with dark hair more often in my mental image of her; maybe I default to Stahl as her parent more?) I think I did Gaius/Maribelle once before because I remember their Epilogue together, but Gaius & Sumia are cute too.

I also really like Vaike!Laurent and did have Miriel marry Vaike on my first playthrough, lol. Blond does not suit Laurent well, but I did really like his Support with his dad as Vaike because the "you seem to have gotten everything from your mother and nothing from me" sentiment carried more than with other dads, imo. (Also, I really love the family dynamic of Researcher Mom, Researcher Son, and Man Who Could Break Coconut With Skull.)

Ricken!Nah works well! I like her with brown hair, and also I like that they're a tiny family :) Also his bookish personality fits well with her.

Donnel!Brady is nice! Like Vaike!Laurent family dynamics, I love the combination of Extremely Refined Mom, Ultimate Rural Dad, and Son Who Knows How To Be Refined But Also Acts Like He Was Raised In A Barn. I usually prefer Brady blond, but brown hair also suits him.

Virion!Gerome! I think I had him at some point too. It's easy to pair up Virion and Cherche, and I like imagining a pouty Gerome with his overly doting dad Virion next to him.

Libra!Noire is also a fave of mine! I like her with dark hair, usually, but I really liked Tharja & Libra's supports, and I like Noire with her Evil Mom and Pious Dad. I think I had her on my second Awakening playthrough (as first was Donnel & Tharja).
