“If this stupid coursework assignment doesn’t kill me, my teacher will because it’s just that terrible,” Luca groaned, dropping his head down onto his sketchbook, pencil rolling off and onto the floor. He just... couldn’t bring himself to lean down and get it. The coffee shop was quiet, but his outburst drew eyes his way all the same. The whole point in doing his coursework here was that it was supposed to be inspiring and so far, he couldn’t even draw a damn stick figure. “Just leave me to die a degree-less death.”

When Nim had been told to do his bit on earth to tilt the balance, he was pretty sure that the angels hadn’t meant this - picking up on small, tiny things that would barely even touch it. Preaching about religion, convincing humans that heaven existed, it was all fine in theory, but Nim had quickly realised that it wasn’t that simple and so instead, he’d turned to trying to turn people away from bad deeds. That was how he’d ended up here, nervously reaching out to tap the person’s shoulder. “E-Excuse me? I’m really sorry to interrupt, but I’m not sure you should be doing that...”

Cigarette balances between his lips, dangling there as he just sort of stares at the blonde. She’s a fine little one, he’ll give her that, but jesus fuck if she didn’t stop talking about this guy he was going to snap at her. Dumped? Who the fuck cared? Not Beau, that’s for damn sure. All he cared about was the cigarette dangling from his lips as the shot of fireball he was about to down. 

“Look, he clearly couldn’t give two shits. You’re a pretty girl. Why are you wasting your time on a loser when you can obviously get any guy you want in here?” 

With that, he paused his balancing act to numb himself in a different matter; fireball disappearing from the shot glass in a matter of seconds.

Elias sits next to a fire pit, watching a flickering image of Jay sleeping. While he knows all the enchantments placed over their tower he still worries. Which would be absolutely adorable! If Jay happened to care for the protection he’s given them. He knows they’ll come around eventually. Perhaps a visit is in order. 

He stands and is about to teleport when he sees Abby standing on the balcony. She hasn’t been around as of late. It makes him nervous to make eye contact with her. “Abigail, darling!” He calls, moving towards her. “What brings you back tonight?”
