Voyager-X veröffentlichen Single Hypnotize You
Tumblr media
OUT NOW! MOTORHEAD Deluxe Collector’s Box-Set “1979” and Special 40th Anniversary Individual Deluxe Reissues of “Overkill” & “Bomber”

A hybrid of punk, rock and heavy metal played with relentless, ear-curdling power, MOTÖRHEAD was life-changing for millions. The alchemy of bassist and vocalist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke and drummer Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor gloriously ruined ears and lawns worldwide, and these three outrageous madmen shared a wonderful “crackpot band of brothers” approach to life…

Today we remember the passing of Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor who Died: November 11, 2015 in London, England
Philip John Taylor, better known as Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, was an English drummer for the rock band Motörhead from 1975–1984 and 1987–1992, recording eleven studio albums and four live albums. The Motörhead line-up consisting of Taylor, Lemmy, and "Fast" Eddie Clarke is generally regarded as the 'classic' line-up of the band.
Born on 21 September 1954, in Hasland, Chesterfield, Taylor grew up in Leeds. He took drum lessons at Leeds College of Music on advice from his father. After meeting Lemmy, who was a fellow speed user, he joined Motörhead and replaced Lucas Fox during the recording of the band's first album On Parole in 1975. Lemmy has said that Fox wasn't working out and Taylor "had a car and could give us a lift back down to the studio". Taylor, in turn, introduced Lemmy to guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke, having worked with him while painting a houseboat.
Shortly after recording the classic Ace of Spades album in 1980, Taylor broke his neck after being lifted above the head of a friend in a test of strength, only to be dropped on his head. Taylor continued to play in Motörhead with the aid of a neck brace, as is visible in the music video for "Ace of Spades". As a result, Taylor had a prominent lump located on the back of his neck (affectionately referred to as his "knob"), thought to be a calcium deposit caused by his previous spinal trauma. Tour-disrupting injuries were not unfamiliar to Taylor at the time, as he had previously broken his hand whilst punching a man outside his flat in London. Taylor continued to drum by using gaffer tape to attach his drum stick into his hand until it had sufficiently healed.
Taylor left Motörhead in 1984. The following year, he made appearances with Waysted, and joined former Motörhead and Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson to form the band Operator. In 1986, he was part of Frankie Miller's touring band.
Taylor returned to Motörhead in 1987. He said "I always regretted leaving. Let's just say I took a three-year holiday." He continued playing in the group until 1992. After having been warned three times in the previous two years "to get his act together", he was fired after recording "I Ain't No Nice Guy", because of his poor performance.
From 2005 to 2008 Taylor played and recorded in a group called The Web of Spider with Whitey Kirst (Iggy Pop) on guitar and Max Noce on bass. In 2007 Taylor briefly worked on a project called Capricorn with former Danzig guitarist Todd Youth, former Monster Magnet guitarist Phil Caivano and former Nashville Pussy bassist Corey Parks. After playing in The Web of Spider, Taylor began work on a project with guitarist Chris Holmes, formerly of the heavy metal band W.A.S.P., and in 2009, Taylor joined American thrash metal band Overkill for a set at the Islington Academy. The set included a cover of the Motörhead song from which Overkill took their name.
He sporadically played drums for Mick Farren and The Deviants, featuring on Dr. Crow (2002), Sheep in Wolves' Clothing (2008), and Portobello Shuffle (2009).
Taylor reunited with Lemmy and Clarke on 6 November 2014 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, on stage for Motörhead's classic "Ace of Spades" only to come on to wave to the crowd and leave.
Phil Taylor died on 11 November 2015, in London, at the age of 61 after an illness. Liver failure was cited as a cause.
"Fast" Eddie Clarke said of his former bandmate: My dear friend and brother passed away last night. He had been ill for sometime but that does not make it any easier when the time finally comes. I have known Phil since he was 21 and he was one hell of a character. Fortunately we made some fantastic music together and I have many many fond memories of our time together. Rest in Peace, Phil!
Lemmy told Classic Rock that he was "devastated" to have lost one of his best friends. He also remembered former Motörhead guitarist Michael "Würzel" Burston, who died in 2011.
I'm feeling very sad at the moment, in fact devastated because one of my best friends died yesterday. I miss him already. His name was Phil Taylor, or Philthy Animal, and he was our drummer twice in our career. Now he's died and it really pisses me off that they take somebody like him and leave George Bush alive. So muse on that. We're still going, we're still going strong, it's just first Wurzel and now Philthy, it's a shame man. I think this rock 'n' roll business might be bad for the human life.
Lemmy died on 28 December 2015, less than seven weeks after Taylor and on 10 January 2018 "Fast Eddie" Clarke also died, leaving none of the classic Ace of Spades-era Motörhead lineup alive.

After almost a year of waiting, residents of Tampa Florida got to finally see the Crazy World Tour. The initial date was set as October 15th, 2017, but due to Scorpions lead singer Klaus Meine coming down with laryngitis, the band had to cancel the last 5 dates of their trek across the states last year.  In the 2017 leg, the supporting band was Megadeth, but with the cancellations and rescheduling, they had to find a different support act for this go round. Enter Queensryche, an American band from Bellevue, Washington.

Queensryche had the privilege of opening this show as the last night of a two week run with the Scorpions. The vocalist, Todd la Torre stated that it was an honor to play shows with their German friends in the Scorpions, whom they have toured with a few times over the years. Todd was by far the most energetic of the entire band and was headbanging and moving all about the stage, as most of the others were fairly stationary. Guitarist, Parker Lundgren, came towards the middle at times and would show off with his best rock poses and stage moves.

Local to the Tampa area, Scott Rockenfield, was showing off his newly built drum kit.  The hardware the held up the cymbals and toms were all made from curved and twisted steel tubing. He had this unique drum kit custom built by SawbladeHead Designs ( http://www.sawbladeheaddesigns.com/ ) in St Petersburg Florida. To me, the drum set was the most eye-catching one I have seen in quite some time and was a fantastic centerpiece to the Queensryche stage.

Once they began the third song, Empire, the crowd woke up as did the band. Much more movement from them all and the fans were singing along loudly. It seemed to me they focused on playing older material that the fans would know better.  I believe they were a great opener and fit the bill nicely.
The five-piece band played to an arena that was fairly empty to start, but steadily growing as more people got to their seats. By the end of their set, it was looking more like a rock show should. People on the floor were standing instead of sitting in the seats, some dancing in the aisles and open area towards the back of the floor.
Queensryche Setlist:
Best I Can The Needle Lies Empire Guardian Silent Lucidity Queen of the Reich Jet City Woman Screaming in Digital Eyes of a Stranger
As the lights dropped inside Amalie Arena, the curtain in front of the stage did as well. The first sounds we could hear were that of a helicopter. Patrons looked around in anticipation, then the video screens came alive with footage of the helicopters they were hearing. Chains were hanging from the digital helicopters, and as the lights came on, we could finally see there were real ones attached to the drummer’s platform. It was as if they lowered him into place to start the show. Drummer Mikkey Dee was the first to appear on stage to a roar from the crowd. Rudolf Schenker emerged next and followed by the rest of the band as they started into Going Out With A Bang. During the guitar solo, the singer grabbed a tambourine and was walking the stage shaking it at everyone in the front row, smiling and happy as can be. The joy he and the rest of the guys had playing was very apparent. As the set continued, the crowd was asked to help sing along more often, specifically to start the third song of the night, Is There Anybody There?.  Vocalist Klaus Meine came out on the catwalk and thrust his microphone out over the crowd hoping to catch some of the sound filling the venue.  I was pretty impressed at how good he sang throughout the whole night. To me, he was hitting all the notes but just sounded a tad bit nasally from allergies. It did not affect his energy or ability to belt out the words at all. I was thinking to myself that if I could be enjoying life and sound as good at he does, at nearly 70 years old, I would be happy.

Send Me An Angel was a nice break in the setlist with the band breaking out acoustic guitars and slowing it down a bit. I loved seeing Rudolf with his signature flying V guitar in an acoustic form, A first for me seeing such a drastic shaped acoustic guitar. From someone who attends a ton of shows each year, it is refreshing to notice different things here and there in shows that aren’t just cookie cutter and “normal”.

The band had recently recruited drummer Mikkey Dee, formerly of Motorhead, and saw it as a perfect opportunity to play a tribute to his former band member, the late Lemmy Kilmister. The video boards in the background showed pictures of Lemmy throughout the years as they played.  Overkill was a great song choice and seemed to surprise most of the crowd. After the conclusion of it, Mikkey played a drum solo, in which his platform raised into the air from the chains dangling from the rafters. Smoke billowed out of the base he was on as if it was a rocket taking off into the sky.

Another interesting thing that I noticed was the guitar played by Rudolf, had a smoke trail coming from it as he ran side to side across the stage during the song Blackout. It was subtle but a cool thing that I have not seen before in all the concerts I have ever attended.

The last 3 songs were the loudest all night from the crowd singing along. Big City nights was one that all the fans were waiting to hear since the band hit the stage.  As the song rang out the band left the stage and everyone cheered relentlessly for them to come back and play longer. When they all reemerged, it got extremely loud and they went right into No One Like You.

As ironic as it is, the final song of the night seemed a little grim due to Florence bearing down on the Carolina’s and causing panic all through the southeast. Regardless, the Scorpions did rock us like a hurricane in the best way possible and concluded the night on an incredible high note.
It is truly impressive that this band has been around for 50 years and still going strong. I could see how much fun they were all having and even at almost 70, how could you not have a blast playing loud rock music to thousands of people singing every word.
Some of the fans who had bought tickets to see the Scorpions were still as excited for it nearly a year and a half after it was first announced back in March of 2017.  With such a long wait, the anticipation was at an all-time high for this show and it was well worth it. Fans leaving the arena afterward were still buzzing and chatting amongst themselves with big smiles on their faces and one even mimicking a guitar solo with an air guitar.
Scorpions Setlist:

The Zoo Coast to Coast Top of the Bill / Steamrock Fever / Speedy’s Coming / Catch Your Train We Built This House Delicate Dance Send Me an Angel Wind of Change Tease Me Please Me Overkill (Motörhead cover) Drum Solo Blackout Big City Nights
Encore: No One Like You Rock You Like a Hurricane

They are the best Diablo options
You love Diablo in most its shapes as well as colors, but you are extremely tired of Blizzard's Schnetzel adventure? That's quite understandable, after all, the actual Hack & Kill game and the heir have a few years within the hump. But which is no reason in order to mope and stick your head in the fine sand, because there are really good video games that go in exactly the same direction. These are the very best Diablo alternatives.
They are the best Diablo clones: Diablo from Blizzard is for many gamers the symbol from the "Hack & Slay" genre. Although this is praiseworthy, Gauntlet already laid the foundation for this in 1985. The first part of Diablo, but did not appear till the beginning of 1997. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm for Blizzard title continues unbroken, which explains why fans are already within the third part of the series by Monster -- And demon hordes beat and toss with great loot around. However , there are really many great competitors who compete cheap poe items  online and offline for the players. Some associates are known as a colorful dog, others are more in the background and waiting for their chance. We tell you what great Diablo clones are awaiting you and what they have to offer you!
Route of Exile
The actual fantasy action role playing game Path associated with Exile has been a competitor to Diablo for many years. The game, developed by Grinding Gear Games, has caught and linked many bored Blizzard followers. The mechanics are roughly exactly the same. Envelop opponents, loot, improve and then umboxen heavier opponents. This has been successful at Route of Exile because October 2013. Because August 24, 2017, players on the Xbox One on the continent Wraeclast may also enter the fight. The New Zealand developers throw new content into the video game in regularity or even hold events which blend in beautifully using the all-around gloomy globe of Path associated with Exile. On the eighth of December, Battle for the Atlas is actually releasedalready the next totally free extension.
Van Helsing
A game with the famous vampire hunter vehicle Helsing, settled within a steampunk fantasy globe? It does not only sound crazy, it is also extremely fun! The Amazing Adventures of Vehicle Helsing have been about for a few years, however the final version did not appear until the finish of 2015. However , this still expenses almost 45 euros. If you do not want to get the entire Van Helsing bundle right away, you can also buy the individual parts for a couple euros. Responsible for the game was and is NeocoreGames, who were also associated with Warhammer and King Arthur.
With among six classes, you'll certainly be beating your way with the fictional kingdom associated with Borgovia with all its idiosyncrasies and types of enemies. The ability system is huge and also the game sometimes quite demanding. The title is based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. Although the globe looks gloomy, but some things like robots or even huge tanks, the actual dark atmosphere frequently loosens unintentionally. Of course there are all sorts of products and a pretty good creating system.
Victor Vran
Have you ever thought about what goes on when Diablo as well as Brütal Legend father a child? The result is actually Victor Vran! The actual eponymous hero very first appeared in Feb 2015 in Early Access on Steam. The actual improved console version Victor Vran: Overkill Edition appeared for the Playstation 4 as well as Xbox One, but only on six June 2017 in a affordable price of about 35 €. Incidentally, the game was developed by Haemimont Games, who among other things created the extremely successful technique games Tropico 3 to 5.
In Victor Vran, you will travel along with Victor Vran with the fictional city associated with Zagoravia in the combat evil demons associated with unknown origin. The actual combat system is a combination of classic hack as well as slay as well as alternative roles such as through the Dark Souls series. Unlike many rivals, there are no various classes here. The player simply adapts their style with weaponry and demonic energy. The biggest criticism from the otherwise fun Schnetzler is, however , the actual rather short playing time, which in spite of all sorts of hardmodes as well as challenges, is rapidly over-cooked. However , particularly metal fans are allowed to talk about the actual extension "Motörhead: With the Ages! " pleased, because here is not only horny music within the ears, Victor also fights with instruments such as a guitar. very hot!
Grim Dawn
You played Titan Quest and loved the actual title? Then take a look at Grim Dawn! Driving the game is Crate Entertainment. However , the actual studio was founded by former employees associated with Iron Lore Amusement, who were then responsible for Titan Quest. After about five many years of development, the title was officially released on February 25, 2016. The game presently costs about 25 euros on Steam.
Grim Dawn performs in the fictional globe of Cairn, wherever demons fight each other. Some want to enslave people, others wish to kill them. The storyline is pretty thin, however the level design is great. On the other hand stabs even top dog Diablo. Simply knocking via is also not possible right here, there are always difficult mechanics directly within the fight against strong opponents. Thanks to all kinds of skills, an incredible number of items along with a faction system, Grim Dawn has a lot to discover. In addition , the actual campaign has a great 40 hours associated with playing time, which is really fine for the price.
Torchlight
Torchlight was next Titan Quest for a long time as a hot competitor in order to Diablo. No wonder, because the game produced by Runic Games makes a lot of things right, through the simple accessibility to the actual chic, if quite colorful graphics. Naturally , this is not a chance, because behind Runic Games were mainly Max and Erich Schaefer, who were responsible for Diablo and Diablo 2 at Blizzard. Standen? Yes, regrettably, we are talking during the past tense, because Perfect World closed the doors of its subsidiary
Runic Games in November 2017. They are potential successors in order to Torchlight and Torchlight 2 .
of course , however that does not make the video games any worse. The game globe is still huge, the type design pretty awesome and thanks to the actual randomly generated areas there is always something new to find out. You are tired of uniformity of warrior, wizard and archer? Not a problem, because in Torchlight there is Berserker, Professional, Vagant or Glutstein Magician. The video games, however , have both been a couple of years old. Thus, the current part Torchlight 2 already appeared in Sept 2012. For the title, after all, only just under 19 euros, which is really worth every euro in the enormous dimension and cool style.
Devilian
A crack and slay within the guise of a MMO? Devilian has been providing this from Trion Worlds for several years. Again, it goes into a gloomy world full of dangers. There are five classes in total: the actual Berserker, the Gunner, the Summoner, the actual Shadow Hunter, and also the Storm Warrior. Everybody naturally fulfills a task in the group play. And there is plenty, because many adventures you deny along with friends - as well as in World of Warcraft or even other MMORPGs.
The game also offers the opportunity with regard to PvP, in which 20 players compete towards another 20 gamers. This works incredibly, even if with so many characters in a fantasy-action role playing game and suitable camera leadership, mayhem breaks out. However , Devilian wears out quite quickly, because the world is adoringly designed by hand, however so you have seen each place at some point. The actual scope of comparable MMOs is simply lacking. In addition , after all the time is not really much going on on the servers. However the game is still really worth a look, even if there are several better candidates with regard to lonely hours.
Titan Quest
We have already mentioned the game several Buy Path Of Exile items  times and also one should think that the actual 2006 publishedTitan Questeleven years later within a list of worthwhile Diablo alternatives has nothing more to look for. The actual ravages of time as well as all. But because of the recently releasedTitan Quest: Ragnarökexpansion, the contrary is the case: the item hunting in ancient times could not be more up-to-date!
The addon, which is currently being provided on Steam for a small discount associated with 14. 99 euros, includes a story act, the new rune masters championship and numerous new weapons, armor pieces and opponents. If you want Hack & Kill adventures, you should take a look, despite the age of the primary game!
Which Hack & Slay is the most fun in which title did you spend the most time on? As well as which game in this genre have all of us definitely forgotten? More information, specials and movies for Diablo three.

We promised you some cool news in the beginning of the new year and here it is. Each member of JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR has chosen one song from our childhood heroes as a way to pay tribute to the ones who inspired us to start playing music. We applied the JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR sound to put our own mark on the songs and got some help from our friends to shoot a live video session as we were recording the songs. We ended up with “Holy Chrüst – Horn Alley Live Session”. A homage to our heroes and a dirty Rock ’n’ Roll live video documentary for you to enjoy.»

Lemmy died on 28 December 2015, less than seven weeks after Taylor and on 10 January 2018 "Fast Eddie" Clarke also died, leaving none of the classic Ace of Spades-era Mötorhead lineup alive.
