Chisaki was not expecting you to want to be a hero. He’d practically raised you with the help of the Yakuza leader who took the two of you in.

Chisaki had pretty much set his ideals while growing up. But when he heard how much you wanted to be a hero, Chisaki felt a pang of regret fill his heart. He’d wanted you to stand by his side. To rip your dream away from you would shatter his heart.

So he stopped intervening.

And you got into U.A. 

You were scared to tell him, because by the time you were enrolled in U.A. Chisaki was already running his operations. You were hesitant, but you decided to tell him anyway.

“What is it?” Chisaki asked, sitting on the dark green couch, his gloved hands folded in his lap. You gripped the hem of your shirt nervously. He was your brother, and he’d never hurt you, so why were you so nervous.

“I got into U.A.” You say softly. Chisaki’s eyes widened.

Your dreams of becoming a hero were slowly becoming more and more obtainable, while Chisaki was struggling to even make the first steps of his dream even happen.

Chisaki was silent, and you were worried he was planning on how to scold you. Chisaki was not so much strict as he was just worrisome. Especially with his misophobia. He didn’t want you getting hurt, or killed.

“I’m proud of you.” Chisaki finally broke the silence. You couldn’t help but smile. 

You quickly stood and made your way over to him, slinging your arms over him.

Chisaki normally would’ve recoiled at the touch of someone else, but he knew you, you were blood. He tolerated your touch, and only your touch.

The hug was simple and short.

“I start school in two days.” You tell him happily.

“I’ll make sure you have everything you need by then.” Chisaki walked off down to his office, asking a few members to gather some stuff for you to be prepared for school.

When you actually begin classes at U.A., you’re always talking about it, telling Chisaki about your day, your friends, and how amazing it is.

Chisaki’s ideals don’t change overnight, but over time, he begins to open up. Allowing himself to be comfortable with you and your dreams to be a hero.

Chisaki isn’t going to change himself, but he’s willing to loosen his grip on you to let you chase your dreams, no matter how much he’d want you to be on his side.

While he isn’t considered a villain, he’s still not the greatest person in the world. He’d done things in his upbringing to get him where he is, and he doesn’t feel like the greatest influence to you anymore.

But you’re always there for him. Always reassuring him that you couldn’t have asked for a better brother. Because Chisaki is an awesome brother.

Someone’s giving you trouble? Chisaki’s got the brains to help you kick their ass in training. 

When you get moved into dorms, Chisaki is honestly kinda sad. Like he enjoyed listening to you talk about how you beat some Mineta kid up during training, or how you had the best lunch that day.

Whenever you get the chance too, you’re spending time with him. Chisaki doesn’t go out much, he’s antisocial, and a germaphobe, so he’s very into texting and phone calls.

So if you’re not visiting him on a day off, you’re texting him about your day or video-calling him while you do your homework.

You’d really like him to meet your friends, so you try to introduce the topic casually.

“Kai!! Oh hang on, I think Midoriya’s here. Do you wanna say hi?” You ask, putting a pause on your homework to go answer the door, leaving Kai on the other end of your video call.

“Not really.” Chisaki responds cooly. It wasn’t like he had much of a choice. At least he didn’t have to seem them in person.

“He’s fine I swear! Come say hi.” You dragged Midoriya into your room letting him sit down beside you to see Chisaki.

Midoriya waves shyly, wearing a bright smile.

“It’s nice to meet you!” He says softly, glancing down at your homework.

“Nice to meet you too.” Chisaki responds, his uneasiness slowly fading away. 

“Sorry for bugging you, I just didn’t understand this question.” You laughed, turning your focus to Midoriya who agreed to help you with the homework.

Chisaki watched silently from the other side. He could feel a smile growing on his lips underneath his black mask. He was happy. He was happy to see you happy.

You were living out your dream, and there was nothing that could’ve made him happier.

“What to Eat?”

Pairing ~ Todoroki Shouto x reader

Summary ~ Your boyfriend is quiet, introverted, and freakin’ indecisive about what to eat for dinner...at least for today. But you don’t mind at all, because the fact that he came to see you after a busy school day, you’ll do anything (and use any excuse) just for him to stay a tad bit longer. 

“Chicken?”

“No.”

“Sushi?”

“No.”

“Hmmm….how about ramen?”

“No.”

“Okay…let’s see…pizza?”

“Hmm….” Todoroki mumbled as he closed his eyes, pondering about the choice. Your eyes slowly widened as you guessed that pizza may be the winner here.

“No.”

You let out a sigh. You and Todoroki were cuddled up cozily on the couch, but instead of you snuggling up on his chest that you usually do after school, it was the other way around. Todoroki’s head laid gently on your chest and your arms were wrapped around his. One resting on his chest, the other holding up your phone. You continued to scroll through the options of what to eat for dinner, but it has been 20 minutes now and Todoroki still hasn’t made up his mind.

But you didn’t need to rush at all. The warmness radiating off Todoroki was comforting, and with his handsome irises and cute pout as if he was almost about to go to sleep, you felt like you could wrap him in your arms forever.  

You scrolled your phone and tilted your head when you saw a familiar restaurant.  “Oh! How about soba?”

Todoroki’s immediately perked up at the ’s-word’. Cold soba was his ultimate favorite dish (god knows how many times he has eaten it) and it surely made an impression on him when you proposed the option.

“Hmm……….” His voice sounded so calm and soothing and he adjusted his head on your chest as he thought about the choice.

“Not today.”

“Not today?!” Your phone almost slipped off your hands. “Todoroki Shouto, I think this marks the end of the cold-soba streak.” You teasingly announced which only made Todoroki roll his eyes.

“Okay, that’s it.” You said as you pushed yourself off the couch, making your boyfriend groan when his comfortable spot was suddenly gone.

“Where are you going?” Todoroki asked curiously. You leaned down to give your boyfriend a quick peck on his lips, making his eyes grow wider and more awake.

“Well, since you can’t make up your mind, I’ll make something here to eat.” You laughed as you walked towards the kitchen, opening the refrigerator.

“Okay so we have…,” you said as you searched through your fridge. “Pork, rice…and eggs!”

You heard Todoroki’s voice from the living room. “What are you going to make?”

“You’ll see!” You called back. You took all the ingredients out of the fridge and began to heat up a pan.

You were a pretty good cook, but you gave all the credit to your mother since you have been learning from her since you were a child. As you poured oil onto the pan, you fried some pork after dunking it into some eggs, flour, and bread crumbs. The sizzling sound of the pork being fried made Todoroki finally get up and begin setting up the table. You whirled your head around to see your boyfriend gathering the chopsticks and scooping up the leftover rice from yesterday.

Today has been a tiring day for your boyfriend. With pro-hero work at his father’s agency on top of copious amounts of school work from U.A, most students would have just passed out once they got home. But instead, Todoroki made the effort to stop by your apartment to see and have dinner with you. He is often a bit quiet and timid, but it was actions like these that you knew that he really does care for you. And that makes your heart bloom even more.

After 30 minutes have passed, you finished placing the fried pork on the rice, topping it off with your homemade sauce and freshly chopped green onions. You carefully placed the two bowls on the table you gave your boyfriend a sweet smile.

You sat down excitingly on the dining chair. “Let’s eat!”

“Wow…this is pretty good,” Todoroki said as he eagerly took another bite.

You laughed and placed your elbows on the table. “Just ‘pretty good?’ “

“Ok correction: Really good.” Your boyfriend’s lips twitched a smile as he looked up at you. “Ah, you know what I mean.”

After dinner, you and Todoroki slumped back onto the couch and comfort soothed you immediately when you rested your head on his shoulder. Todoroki gently caressed your head while the TV played your guys’ favorite show.

You realized your eyes were beginning to droop and your body began to melt into the warmth of Todoroki’s body. After a long day of school and cooking, you were glad to have Todoroki beside you. You hugged your boyfriend tighter and let out a sigh of content. You felt blissfully safe surrounded by Todoroki’s warmth radiating off his left-side.  

Todoroki turned his head towards you and he couldn’t help but smile at your peaceful expression and how lucky he was to have such a supporting and caring girlfriend.  

He kissed your temple, making you blink your eyes slightly open.

“Thank you for dinner. You should be a chef.” He bluntly stated, but you could hear the hint of tease woven in his tone.

You smirked as you closed your eyes. “Ah well, I have my ways…I’m just happy you enjoyed it.”

“You want to go to bed?” Todoroki asked, watching your relaxed expression slowly drifting to sleep.

You shook your head and hugged him warmly. “No no. Let’s just stay like this for a while.”

Todoroki paused a bit before responding. Your lag of words showed that you were about to sleep but his heart felt so complete knowing that you were right there by his side, pouring him so much love even during a busy after-school day. He continued to gently rub your shoulder in the way you liked it after capturing the moment. He smiled at you and hummed in reply and then darted his eyes back to the TV.

But before the show reached to the end, Todoroki gently laid his head on top of yours, plunging into a deep state of sleep he hasn’t felt for in months. The TV noise began to fade and he closed his eyes peacefully, knowing that when the sun rises again tomorrow, his favorite person in the world will still be lovingly and safely wrapped in his arms.

A/N: I wrote this short story during a writer’s block for CiL and I thought I should share it here! Finally expanding out my character horizon but...*looks at my wips and realizes the next big project will be abt overhaul* I guess some characters just stay deep in my heart 😌 And yes!! Let’s go back to when the League went to the Yakuza to make a deal

Twice and Toga were like “no way we’re going to listen to you. Y’all are NASTY!”

Overhaul is getting angry and obviously death isn’t working, so he decides to go for their favorite medic

You’re chilling at the hideout because villain work ain’t for you

Suddenly, Overhaul’s goons come on and take you. They knock you out and the next thing you know, you’re tied up and in a dark room

You’re freaking out and you want to cry and scream

Meanwhile, Overhaul tells the League if they don’t listen to him, he’s going to kill you

They don’t believe that he has you so they act dumb

“a medic? What? Don’t have that-“

He shows them a video of you tied up and they’re freaking out

Toga pulls out her knives, like she’s just about to pounce when Shigaraki holds up a hand

“If you jump into action, they’ll kill (Y/N). I don’t think you want to test that theory.”

Somehow, they all knew that he would harm you

The League tries to come up with different plots to save you, just trying to save you anyway possible

They’re so, so careful. They can’t risk anything happening to you

Every plan seems to have a fault, and it’s miserable

They love you so much and they can’t risk you getting hurt

They aren’t able to break you out until all the heroes come and raid the place

Twice and Toga take you as far from the scene as possible

Cue the League fussing over you like crazy

You need water? Don’t worry. Dabi already has a bottle waiting

Hungry? Spinner has a meal already cooked

Now behind the scenes, they really messed up Overhual for kidnapping you

It was incredibly brutal, but none of them mention it to you since they know it upsets you

Like YEAH he lost his arms but it was much, much worse than that

look i’ve been up all night again and i’m trying to stay awake, i keep coming up with like wattpad story ideas or plotlines i want to write that are longer than imagines/fics but shorter than stuff i’d usually write on wattpad

like for example and please don’t laugh- i see dozens of neko!reader x aizawa works and i really wanna write my own spin on one and write it how i’d want to read it and with the ongoing story i’m currently working on which i update once a week, i’m not really sure if i’d be able to handle two updates a week (one for the ongoing and one for the new story) plus writing here mondays, wednesdays, and fridays.

i know it all really boils down to time management and such but if you guys have any tips i would love them, honestly it makes me feel better when i know i’m not the only one like just filled with ideas that desperately need to be written out or else i become overwhelmed like-

please the overhual fic i have with just seven chapters drafted each with like over 2k words-

or the dabi one, or the bakugou one-

i get so many ideas all the time from little things like tiktoks or just seeing something out in the world

i was also able to get my state id finally after wayyyy too long, so i’ll be looking for a job and then things will probably change but for the most part, the only thing that might change is a upload schedule here

if i do start another story over on my wattpad, i may move writing on monday over to my wattpad so i’d be updating twice on wattpad and twice here on tumblr, again this is all in the works, i have no idea if i even want to write a full on story despite having already made a cover (it’s so bad compared to my other ones too please im- fixing to go hop back on befunky and fix it cuz like the idea is there but the execution was rough as hell)
