saw a production of the crucible and it was really good but during intermission they played 'i put a spell on you' and i was like.. isn't that a little obvious.

#also featured one of my biggest crucible pet peeves (abigail is played as scheming seductress rather than a preyed upon teenage girl)#also and this is purely bc i was in the second row but i could see how much highlighter those girls had on. didn't have that in 1692.#overall acting gets a 9 out of 10 (iffy accents occasionally) historical accuracy gets a 3/10 (goody nurse was dressed like mary poppins)
