What do you think about Wendy from Gravity Falls 👀

Ouuueee I LOVE her very much and I also think that in many ways she was fucked over by the show. She could have been so much more than she was and she had so much potential and in the end got relegated to the spot of "cool older girl Dipper has a crush on".

There's a lot about the way the show handled her that pisses me off (wasted potential + the fact that she was implied to only know how to do badass shit because she was raised by her lumberjack dad alongside her many brothers, which for obvious reasons doesn't sit well with me), but I ALSO think that because of the (aforementioned) potential for her to be an interesting and well-rounded character that just... was never explored... she's a really great character to play with in AUs and fanfics! Because there is so much there to explore, and a lot of it is completely up to interpretation (again, because the show did jack shit to dig into her character in depth). Really wish a lot of that had actually been explored within the show, but. It's over now, what can you do.
