Incinerate Ruins & Fall-Out Town Description. (Version 1)
Okay just to let you know I’m currently tweaking the Incinerate Ruins/ Old Home to have it make sense for it to exist in the underground and why Asgore would remotely THINK about living there since the way it is now... well doesn’t sense.
So I bound to talk about these eventually so I guess I’ll talk about these now and give you a description of the two (Technically Four) areas.
Incinerate Ruins/Old Home- (Asgore still sucks at coming up with good names.) The Incinerate Ruins is where all the Human start in when they fall down into the underground after they meet Temmie. The Ruins is... strange, to say the least. It’s where the monsters used to live before they eventually explored more of their underground prison and has since been abandoned due to there being much safer places to live and the place was basically falling apart until Asgore came to fix it up a little bit.
It’s like the Ruins down to it’s ancient feeling you get when exploring it to the familiar puzzles well all remember (The Puzzles are not the same ones from Undertale BTW) but, is filled with Lava and Fire due to Mt. Ebott originally being just a volcano, ladders and bridges over lava and fallen pillars, Magmets which love to jump sky high out of multiple Lava lakes you’ll find there, an on the higher levels of Incinerate Ruins there is ALOT of Greenery and flowers that grows there... somehow... (It’s like a combination of the Ruins from Undertale and Marble Zone from Sonic and Thwomp Volcano from Mario & Luigi: PiT)
It’s kind of a mess so far but, I’ll try to fix it to make it slightly more safe so characters like Temmie, Asgore, etc. can live there. But, with in the Incinerate Ruins is an entirely original area that Chara has to go through in order to leave the Ruins and continue with your journey, and that area is... “Hapstablook’s Circus Park of Wows and Wonders!!! (TM)” a Circus Labyrinth type of environment ran by none other than Hapstablook to put up a marvelously dazzling show by having you go through hell a bunch of fun yet challenging trials to not only see if you are ready to move on to Fall-out Forest and the other areas in order to get to Queen Toriel in the end. But Hapstablook has other plans however, he secretly wishes to obtain your soul and break the barrier and get the recognition he deserved but had it token away from him, for reasons unknown... for now. This also where where you will find some of the Dogs from the Canine Unit who Hapstablook has hire to not only kill you but, he figured that people would go nuts seeing cute dogs do such cute things like juggling tennis balls and other amazing tricks. This also where you will find Burgerpants but, I won’t spoil what he’s doing there and why. So that’s basically what the Incinerate Ruins is like so far and again, I’m going to tweak it so it can make sense to be not only the place where Asgore and Temmie live but, also be the starting area for Chara’s journey through the underground.
Fall-out Woods & Fall-Out Town- As soon as you leave the Incinerate Ruins, Chara will find them self in a surprisingly creepy halloween/fall themed forest that’s bound to give you, as Papyrus has told me “CHILLERS!!! THRILLERS!!! JEEPERS!!! AND CREEPERS!!!” with sans commenting afterwards,”aw man, i knew i should’ve bought my jacket.” Again, Fall-out Woods is bound to creep anyone out with all the crow sounds and sounds that’ll make you feel like someone is following you and is trying to get you.
Don’t worry though, because you’ll have the aforementioned Skelebros, Papyrus and Sans, to look after you... most of the time... you still have to stay on your toes because if you’re not careful you can either get ambushed by horde of bird monsters named Robbins or worse, fall into one of the Skeletons’ Japes and Puzzles. It’s an area that’s basically designed to make Chara feel scared as they go through the woods, run into creepy looking monsters, and the skeletons’ trails to capture the human. You may be wondering, “Why is Snowdin suddenly so creepy?” Well this is because instead of Fall-out town celebrating Christmas all the time like Snowdin, they celebrate Halloween all the time instead, the residence of Fall-Out Town seem to adore the concept of spooking each other for laughs and to keep yourself on your toes. Don’t worry, the residents of Fall-Out have zero intentions of ever harming Chara because...
A.) Why would they? They want scares and bad laughs, not murder or harm.
and B.) They aren’t even aware that you’re a monster due to them not really knowing what a human is or what they look like, it has been a long time since the last human fell down after all.
At the exit of Fall-Out Town, you’ll be confronted by Sans, who has no choice but to fight you, capture you, and deliver Chara to Queen Toriel. So if you want to continue on in one piece, you’ll have to find a way to get past Sans but, what will you do? Will you FIGHT Sans or SPARE Sans? That choice is up to Chara, that choice is up to you...
So basically that’s my description of the Incinerate Ruins and Fall-Out Town so far, I hope you guys like it but remember, some things might be changed since I’m going through it and try to make these locations make sense, have them keep you all interested, etc.

didn’t notice
- June Prompt #18 ‘it doesn’t hurt’
“What if we’re not lucky?” Lubbock asked.
“Then we’re drinking with Seamus Finn tonight,” Killian replied. He turned to the stairs and led them up, rifle constantly tracking and working the corners as he moved. They were much more careful this time. As they moved, Adler began to notice that blood pooled wherever Killian stepped. He looked again and saw blood on Killian’s shirt. Gut shot. Adler winced, he had not gone through all that trouble to getting Killian back on his feet only for him to die in Outtown Berthingtonn.
Killian called a halt as they made it to the third floor and fanned into a temporary perimeter. Adler did not join them. Instead, he crouched by Killian and pulled out his medical kit.
“Let me see your stomach, Sir.”
Killian smiled wanly as he stared at the third-floor diagram near the stairs. “Don’t you think Riela will get jealous of you flirting with me?”
“Naw, she knows about you and me. Now let me see where you got shot.
Killian sighed and tugged his shirt up to reveal the puckered wound in his stomach just to the left of his abdominal muscles. There was no exit wound. Adler winced again. If the bullet was spelled or had a particularly high lead content, Killian would die simply from having it in his body. Now was not the time or place for such thoughts. Adler wrapped gauze around and tied it off.
“Thanks,” Killian said.
“Of course, Sir,” Adler replied.

Hawks in the Night
The night sky above was clear of clouds, stars twinkling high above. He could clearly see the constellations of the Knight and his Steed, the Lady and her Mirror, the Assassin and his Dagger. Despite that, the air was cold, the wind whipping away at the blue cloak he wrapped around himself.
Rayus cursed himself for a fool. He should never had listened to that accursed Leora, who was probably laughing in his cups about the foolish Human who was now lost in the labyrinthine alleyways and streets of Nightgard. He was still relatively new here, having only been around Nightgard for several weeks. Briefly he wondered about the woman that had brought him and his sister here, that had saved their lives from the invading Imperials. With a simple wave of her hand, she had torn open a scar of green light that transported the two of them from their burning village to this large city. Magic, he knew, even though Rayus had never seen it preformed before.
He and his sister were forced to live in the Refugee Quarter of the city, a small collection of wooden buildings set aside for those fleeing the Empire's onslaught. Many in the city resented these newcomers that were draining resources better spent on defense. There was tension in the air, Rayus knew. Already people were fighting each other in back alleys; he feared that soon there would be an all-out riot. If there was, he needed to protect his sister. Knowing her, she would try to get involved, one way or another, and there was a very real possibility of her getting hurt.
           He couldn't allow that.
A sudden blast of wind buffeted his face, and Rayus turned his head to the side in order to shield his face. When he turned back around, there were two large men standing a few feet away, longswords in hand. Their faces were covered by silver masks reminiscent of a bird-of-prey. It did not look like they were going to ask for directions.
“Can I help you?” Rayus called out, hand edging toward the shortsword he kept concealed beneath the cloak.
One man replied, “You an outsider?”
Rayus saw no reason to hide it. If they let him pass and then followed, they'd see him return to the tiny hovel he and his sister lived in over at the Refugee Quarter. Besides, the clothes he wore were not made of the rich finery Nightgard's inhabitants enjoyed.
“No,” he answered, ready for a fight.
The two men exchanged glances. One shrugged, then said, “Well, we's got to kill you. Outsiders ain't allowed in the city. Boss says so.”
“And who is your boss?” Rayus wondered.
The man looked like he was about to reply, but his companion smacked him on the back of the head. “Don't tell him, idiot!”
“Right. Sorry.” The man looked sheepish for a moment, then collected himself, turned to Rayus, and charged.
Rayus dodged his first two strikes and parried the third. Rayus felt his arm vibrate from the force of the impact; the man was much stronger than he was. Rayus dodged the next strike, but then noticed the man's companion charge in from the side, swinging his sword at his head. Rayus was able to deflect the blow, and noted that this man wasn't as strong as the other; his arm didn't hurt as much.
The stronger one swung out with his sword, a blow that Rayus easily avoided, but then the other darted in and cut open his shoulder. Rayus cried out and noticed that his clothes were quickly being stained with red. Damn! Rayus clutched his wound and backed up a few steps.
Strong laughed. “Look at 'im bleed! I'm gonna tear out your guts, outsider!” He moved in, striking faster than his size suggested, and it was all Rayus could do to stay one step ahead of him. He thought back to his uncle's training, and how disappointed he'd be in him right now, both for getting wounded and for not being able to do the same to either of his opponents.
Then, Strong swung out as his companion moved in, this time from the other side. They were going to do the same thing as before, except from the opposite side. Rayus saw an opportunity. Rather than dodge Strong's clumsy strike, he leaned into it. The large man was clearly caught off guard as Rayus moved out of the way of his blow, then swung his sword around and behind him. He heard the other gasp, then dodge his strike. Rayus whipped around and attacked, raining blows down upon him. Though the man's longsword gave him reach, Rayus' shortsword allowed him to open numerous cuts along his body.
Finally, Rayus cut the back of the man's hand. He cried out, dropped his weapon, and he hit him with the flat of the weapon with as much force as he could. The man collapsed, his mask spinning into the darkness, blood oozing from a wound on his head. Rayus reveled in his victory for a moment...then remembered the other man behind him. He turned just in time to see him raise his longsword high above his head, clearly readying for a blow that would slice him in two. Rayus wouldn't be able to dodge in time, nor would his measly shortsword protect him from the other man's overwhelming strength.
In his final moments, Rayus cursed himself for letting himself, his uncle, and his sister down. He hoped she would be able to take care of herself…
Two gunshots rang out, and the large man froze.
           He looked down.
           Rayus looked up.
Blood poured from two holes in his chest, soaking his clothes. The large man seemed surprised as he dropped his sword and reached for the wounds. He looked at Rayus, eyes wide.
A third gunshot, and the man had a new hole in his forehead. He fell, and didn't get up.
Rayus stood there, shocked, looking at the newly-made corpse that laid before him. He couldn't focus on anything else at that moment. He just...stared, the wind whipping at him again. He barely even heard the footsteps as they approached, and didn't even pay attention until someone laid a hand on his shoulder. At that moment, he whipped around, backed off, raised his sword.
A woman stood before him, gazing at him quizzically with bright green eyes. Her brown hair tumbled down her shoulders and stopped somewhere on her back. A few silvery beads hung from her hair and along the right side of her rounded face. She wore a black and green jacket over a black tunic that left her midriff exposed, steel gauntlets over her hands and forearms, and trousers and steel-clad heavy boots. She held a pistol in one hand, pointed at the sky, though Rayus could tell she was poised to aim it at him should she need too.
“Calm down,” she finally said. “I'm not here to hurt you.”
Rayus looked back at the body behind him, shuddered, and looked at her. “I bet that guy would love to know that.”
She rolled her eyes. “Geez, this is the worst 'thanks for saving my life' I've ever heard. I could have let that guy cut you in half, you know, but instead I decide to be a good Samaritan and save your ass.” She huffed. “See if I ever do that again.”
Rayus sighed and put away his sword. He realized he was in no immediate danger. “Okay, fine, thank you for saving me.”
“There, was that so hard?” When Rayus rolled his eyes, she grinned and replaced the gun in a holster along her back. That was when Rayus realized there were two weapon handles sticking out over her shoulders. “You fight pretty well with that shortsword, but I can tell you could do a lot better. Hell, that thing looked pretty cheaply made. Where'd you find it?”
“Off the body of an Imperial when they raided my village.”
The woman's face turned sympathetic. “Oh. I'm sorry. So you're a refugee?”
Rayus' face turned hard. “Is that a problem?”
“Not for me. Can't say the same for the rest of Nightgard. Many in the nobility are calling for the city guard to wipe Outtown off the face of the city.”
           Rayus raised an eyebrow. “'Outtown?'”
“Oh, sorry. That's what a lot of people closer to the castle call where you live. It's short for 'Outsider Town.'”
“Yeah, I got that. So why did you save me?”
“Hm? Well, to be honest, I've been tracking these guys for a while. They call themselves the Hawks, and they've been harassing outsiders for the past weeks. I'm trying to discover who their boss is, but no luck so far.”
“What are you going to do to their boss when you find him?”
She pointed to the body behind him. “That.” She bent down and picked up the man Rayus had knocked out, slinging him over one shoulder. “I'm going to take this one to my employer, if you don't mind. See what he knows.”
“Shouldn't we give him over to the authorities?”
“Sure, if you want him to be set loose again. My employer and I are certain that there are several in the nobility helping the Hawks. If that's true, he'll be let out within a day.”
Rayus frowned. “Fine then.” He didn't know enough about this city to know who to talk to, and to be honest, he was anxious to return home and make sure his sister was safe.
The woman shrugged and turned to leave. “Oh, one more thing. What's your name?”
Rayus paused a moment, then answered. She pursed her lips. “Nice name.” She pointed her thumb at herself. “I'm Kartia Whitedawn. Hope we meet again, Rayus.” With that, she took off into the shadows of an adjacent alleyway. “And Outtown is to the west!”
And then she was gone, leaving him with the stars, the wind, and the cold.

sorry if this is a little bit out there but is there going to be some sort of sewer area for fallout town and is fallout itself with its halloween theme a reference to the earthbound halloween hack that toby made??
No actually, Fall-Out Town isn’t a reference to the Halloween Hack but I’m sure I can make something that can both be a super cool addition to Fall-Out Woods, but also I pretty cool reference to the Halloween Hack... but, I’ve never played it so I’m going to find someway to see what the Halloween Hack contains. Also that sewer idea sounds pretty cool now that I think about it. Maybe that’s where... Jerry hangs out... Nah, the sewers would be too good for Jerry...
(Wait a minute, I just noticed that in Undertale, none of the buildings in the underground have bathrooms in them... Weird...)
