"Ramen it is, then." It was nice to indulge from time to time, and he hadn't had Ramen in a while, not with the amount of missions he had been running. He snorted at the offer. "I'm sure. You don't need to worry about it"

He strode a little more purposefully toward Ichiraku, thinking for a moment which of his ninken he should bring out to meet the girl. He ruled out Bull, who was too big to bring out in the middle of Konoha, and because he might scare her. Which was unfortunate, because Bull was the most gentle of them all.

As he thought, they quickly reached the stall, and Kakashi let the girl down on one of the stools. Before taking a seat himself, he pulled out a kunai, nicking his thumb, and pressed his palm against the ground..

In the center of the resultant smoke column, there was a brown and white greyhound. "Boss!" the dog exclaimed, standing on his hind legs, paws up to Kakashi's chest, to greet him "Do you have a mission for me?"

"Not exactly. But Sakura here wanted to meet you" He gestured to her and the dog immediately rounded on her and got closer to sniff at her. In the meantime, Kakashi sat down on another stool and grabbed a menu.

"Hello! I'm Uhei"

Sakura could already feel herself growing attached to this man. She wasn’t used to such kindness outside of her sensei. His hold made her feel so safe and warm. It made her dread going back home and only having loneliness waiting for her there. At least the small girl was no longer crying but babbling on talking to him. Her words were still a bit careful and soft. Still fearing upsetting the man. 

“Ah! I loves ramen! I-i haven’t had it in a long time.” Sakura admitted softly, “Are you sure Mista Hound? I-i could give you everything in my piggy bank… It’s not much though.” It was rare that she got her hands on spare change to put in her bank.

Her eyes grew wide and sparkled with excitement, “You’d let me meet one of your talking doggies?” Sakura’s mind was filled with wonder of what a talking dog was like, “Y-yes! I want to meet one of your doggies!” She wondered what dogs talked about, and whether they were friendly. A part of her worried about offending the summon and it deciding to eat her but Hound has insisted to her that dogs had no interest in eating someone like her.
