As you swipe through the photos, you see I painted ‘hits’ of colors (on top of the faux moss). 1st row of 5 in purple, red, & hints of orange; 2nd row of 6 in orange, pink, & hints of yellow; 3rd row of 7 in white, yellow & hints of orange—to create a ‘dark-to-light’ or from ‘obscurity into light’ effect—a recurring theme for my life & art. Nature is grounding for me. How the sun hides behind a mountain, clouds, or the night—then reveals its brilliant light to illuminate life—is a mirror of my life. It's hurtful to hide who you are—to oneself & others.
