hi i’m in the process of archiving and remaking Adair’s blog because it’s a four-year-old disaster area. I say process because Tumblr, the loveable hellsite that it is, refuses to acknowledge that I’ve verified my email on my new account three times and won’t let me edit my theme or anything yet.

i don’t want to delete my blogs because i love writing and i love these characters but being on tumblr and honestly using a computer at all at this point causes me an inappropriate amount of anxiety. idk what to do. it makes me feel like a bad rp partner even when i have so many plots and ideas running around in my head.

Tumblr Terminating Accounts Glitch Back

Hey, so, my blog @ranseiuniter was suddenly terminated for no apparent reason. I have yet to receive a response from tumblr support offering either a reason or a fix for this. In the meantime just be aware that, evidently, this is an issue again.

I’ll update when I get a response from support.

Scrapped Dragon Dad Fun Fact Hour

TO BE FAIR THAT WAS BEFORE I DECIDED TO MAKE AD EXTRA-CRISPY. For those of you who don’t know on a character info meme I did a long time ago I wrote that Adair had a “minor” phobia of fire thanks to Reshiram. Obviously, this is no longer true. Expose Adair to an open flame and he will probably cry.

This is kind of common knowledge for most of my Canon Squad(TM) / the folks who have followed me for a really long time and actually remember but initially Adair’s damage from the war was not nearly as bad as it is now. Initially he had much lighter injuries but between the realization that like... he was kind of attacked by a legendary fire dragon (on multiple occasions) and that’s not something most people should logically walk away from mostly intact. And also that Ad is Ad(TM) and is a stubborn asshole, it kind of occurred to me it would’ve taken a lot more for him to actually stop being a shithead and come to peace with his brother after three years of war. So lost arm it is. 

tl;dr Adair Devine is such a stubborn shithead that I realized fucking burning his arm off was the only way to knock some sense into him. He’s genuinely That Bad.

anyway, for those of you concerned with the future of Hiroko’s blog (@ranseiuniter) - don’t worry. If tumblr doesn’t restore my blog or get back to me, I fully intend to remake it in the very near future. Most of my major headcanons are either saved or can be rewritten. If anything this is a minor inconvenience at worst.

Due to finals I may not be able to fully restore her blog until the semester ends, though, so if you wish to plan anything in the meantime you can contact me on my discord cherabby#8059

Thanks for Three Years!!

technically speaking the three year anniversary was yesterday, but that didn’t occur to me until like, midnight. Oh well. I officially started on the 16th anyway. So as usual, here’s my mushy gay shit every time Adair’s b-day rolls around!

Thank you all for supporting my muse and the lore I’ve come up with here over the past few years! A lot has changed since I started this blog but every day I’m still amazed at the number of followers I’ve gotten and the friendships I’ve made thanks to good ol’ dragon dad here. All the time I’ve poured into this blog has been beyond worth it! 

And as always, here are some shoutouts!
