So the hidden kingdom really made me stan glory, an absolute QUEEN, literally. Deathbringer and glory have such good chemistry and sutherland is really good at mixing relationship with plot, goddamn

Starflights book was also cool, hes just v adorable. 

Sunnyflight, oh jeez a bunch to unpack here. I was kind of rooting for this since book 2, but brightest night shot me down real fast. But i guess it makes sense sort of? Tui probably wouldnt want to ship sunny, who she confessed is kind of a self insert w anyone because that would be weird. But at the same time, fatespeaker felt like,,, bootleg sunny. I just couldn’t see it. Sorry about that, fatespeaker fans. Im sure she gets more development in the jade mountain prophecy or winglets. Or I hope, because she better live up to sunny. I dont think much of fatespeaker at all really. No hate, but its really hard to believe that starflight would be okay with fatespeaker compared to sunny, a dragon he liked for YEARS. anyways, no hate, just overall meh-

Clay, oh god i thought he was gonna die, but bless peril and bless clayril in general because its wholesome.

And i never saw the hybrid plot twist coming!!! like, woAH, i didn’t think that could happen! The ring was really clever too!

all in all, i might just be on a high here, but i love the series! I love the writing and the pacing and how everything is accounted for!  its so refreshing after all of the hole riddled stories ive read! The fandom seems mild and chill too, so i cant wait to start drawing dragons!
