The Cans Island Lighthouse was another challenge, sunrise proved to be more muted than I had expected and the northern white cedars surrounding the lighthouse itself blocked much of the color that was there, but persistence pays off. The lighthouse at Eagle Bluff was a challenge to me. My first trip yielded lackluster shots, and the second trip looked to do the same with far too many clouds to see the sunset. The Baileys Harbor Range Lights were a great stop on the peninsula. Watching the sunrise from Cana Island was one of the more peaceful and restoring moments of my door county excursion.
