I can't stop listening to duke of venomania and just imagine when the people die they stand in front of a door but before they can go through that door sometimes he tugs people underneath the water surfaces in lures them into making a deal with them once these people give their sanity to him they may live again but they become serial killer feeding Ava basically. So imagine it happens to Setsuka as well and once Setsuka gets killed she becomes one of Avas shadow wolves. Lorenzo- completely desperate that his fiance had this fate tries to kill himself and be dragged down to ava as well and as ava tries to give him the deal he lures ava in before he throws a knife at haku which is the only living wolve and a part of ava and kills him like that.
