A little while ago, I was one of the winners of @sosolenoo art giveaway. I requested one of my favorite MCs, Lissa Linnar from Ouroboros (@honeypeabrain)

Loooooook at her, I demand it!!! I love her and her horns and flowers. She's so sweet and soft in this art, even though Lissa Linnar spends most of her time being feral (and pining) at Ida and wanting to be alone. I love the moss and the hair!!! GORGEOUS.

writing Yor/Yana fills me with such inexplicable glee I want to talk about it but I CAN'T. but I will >:3

You don't know why they look at you with the wet eyes of someone saying their final goodbye, but something within you shouts that you've lost something, something of importance, and that maybe, they are the keeper of that terrible, wrought, secret.

You stutter for a second, your heart beating hard, and the words fall out of your mouth unbidden; nothing of importance, you think, and yet, a deluge of words pour out of you without second guessing. You haven't the faintest idea of what exactly you are saying, only that there is a rumble in reply, and then another; you talk and they talk, murmuring voices filling the space between you until it is so warm you can feel it, touch it, as if playing with the flame of a lone candle.

"Thank you," they say when you are idling at the threshold of their door again, worlds apart. They say it, and then place a tender kiss at the joint of your jaw, all the while your mouth wavers into the horrible placid smile you know is right, but so, so wrong. "Thank you," and the door closes, nothing having changed, at all.

Leith was more than just a friend; they were family (which means a lot to 𝐑𝐮𝐞 since he was recently orphaned when they 𝟷st met)

They're trying to heal from their trauma, though they do still have dark days (they still struggle with their survivor's guilt & suicidal idealization ☚ɪᴛ'ꜱ ᴀ ᴍᴇᴍᴇ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴡᴏʀʀʏ)

He's very touch-starved (hiding out in the woods doesn't really give you much "human" contact) 🥺

They keep their ears open for the voices of the Old Ones

𝐑𝐮𝐞 tentatively agreed to assist Lena & Bell ... for now

Despite the animosity between them, 𝐑𝐮𝐞 hopes that they can be friends with Ida again (he misses all his living companions ... but her the most) 😞

In his "prime", he had a fit build (decades of depression + lack of training/inactivity gave his body a softer appearance)

Because of his surge class, 𝐑𝐮𝐞 has always been more comfortable with signing than speaking & even though they eventually lost their connection to the surge they became much quieter during their self-imposed isolation (especially since Oma doesn't speak)

Wanted to be a Healer for as long as they could remember so that they could help people

They became a skilled healer who was respected by their patients their blunt and dry personality saw them with a difficulty of making friends with the community they helped to serve

After a bounty gone wrong Leith was found barely in one piece and brought to Cai to save. Cai spent an entire night making healing them

When Leith became conscious saw the disheveled, exhausted Healer and immediately flirted to which Cai responded that they’d not spent the last nine hours busting their ass just so they could flirt

Leith ended up needing to stay for week to heal and be monitored and the entire time Leith and his sunshine self doing his best to befriend a bemused Cai

Leith promised they be back to visit and to Cai’s surprise he did after a few months and Cai finally believed that Leith wanted to be around them despite their sometime abrasive personality

Leith brought out the best in Cai and for the first time the Village saw Cai regularly laugh and joke with someone, giving the town a look past their gruff demeanor 

Leith made regular visits and slowly over a few years they were best friends

Then the River happened

After they became a Druna they felt lost but Leith helped them learned how to use their new body to their advantage and taught them how to fight

This is when Cai realized they were in love with Leith

Became the Team Mom frequently being teased for keeping all sorts of remedies on them at all times, no one can complain or a headache or sore throat without Cai pulling something out of their bag while also scolding them for not taking care of themself

Also is the biggest hypocrite because Leith will have to make them eat and sleep because they will try and power through

After their transformation they find themselves most comfortable when not in the town

Leith and Cai both agreed that Id was hot and wanted to date him

After Ids transformation and death of their team Cai asked to be released from the Hunters

Didn’t really fight back when Id tried to kill them due to guilt for everything

First fifty years were booze and grief and then the time after was a slow crawl of learning how to live again

Absolutely threw the official summons in the fire and had to be dragged back by Id

Mostly because they didn’t want all of the memories coming back

But like Id also represses shit to the Max so it’s going to be fun when Leith comes back into the picture

Currently relationship with Id ‘Fuck you!’ No fuck you!’ While loud pinning is heard in the background
