SHIRO AND THE BLACK LION

shiro has a bond with the black lion based on not only trust, but on openness.  the same way the black lion revealed its past to him, of its origins and its bond with zarkon, of daibazaal and of the betrayal it suffered.  but shiro also trusted the black lion, as shown in the astral plane fight.  shiro was sure black wouldn’t let him die there, not like that.

shiro is also open with black, sharing his own pain and suffering that occurred at zarkon’s hand.  that’s one of the reasons their bond is so strong.  shiro trusts black more than he does people, they share something no one else will ever understand.  even though it isn’t always shown on the surface, the black lion cares deeply, and shiro knows it.

“I CAN’T just---” Lance pouted, his heart tripping, falling, stumbling into his stomach and laying there, keeping his weight on his feet, gluing them to the floor.

“I can’t tell THEM.” Lance said, looking away from Black, unable to meet the other’s eyes any longer, “EITHER of them.” He corrected himself before he was caught in a loop, in a hole, attempting to stop himself from falling down this abyss any further.

Blue REJECTED him. And that hurt, it pained him in more ways than he expected. Not only did she not give him any reason, but she shut him out entirely. They haven’t even spoken since the whole Paladin SWITCH-A-ROO happened. And worse of all, Red just went along with it. None of them seemed very inclined to care about Lance’s feelings toward the whole situation. 

And he wasn’t inclined to share them.

a low chuckle, more of a rumble, pshed past scarred lips the second he brought oberon close, hands securing hips in place. lips ghost over the other's, smirk curling slightly wider. " you're... even more beautiful when you're terrifying. " osuin finally leans in, firm in his kiss and a content hum.

the warframe croons appreciatively, matching with a sharp grin from the hidden mouth. a hand rests on a broad shoulder and the other on an arm, wings fluttering when he feels the scarred mouth press against his own patterned. a strange sensation -- a likeable one -- and he flicks his tongue out at the end of it as they pull away, to at least feel those lips a moment longer, chirruping softly.
