I live with one of my best friends and to the even mildly discerning eye obviously do not look like heterosexuals, and it’s so very funny to experience different places in the small town we live in accommodate for the nice young lesbian couple/trying very hard not to galpal us while also not saying the “l” word out loud and ofc the funniest thing is

neither of us is a lesbian, nor are we women, nor are we in a romantic relationship

#our next door neighbour is a very nice 50-something yr old man who's lived here all his life #and he gave us a christmas card with two muffins on the front that says *seasons greetings to the both of you*#where do you even get that card? it's so non-gendered and so fascinatingly put together so as to seem ambiguously queer #idk what you both are but wishing you seasons greetings -- the card (affectionate)#keeping the straight cis population on their toes #the restaurant we ate in in which 7 different waiters kept making sure we were having a nice dinner together #they have got the spirit!
