Just suddenly thought about Hueso in CC, crying screaming etc. Leo’s wiki page mentions that Donnie and him and implied to often visit Run of the Mill together. Hueso just gets used to it… then one day they just. Stop. Maybe Leo stopped by with Mikey and Raph during the curse, but no Donnie. Thinking about them leaving him behind and being so happy with just each other, without him. Killing everything in the vicinity.

AUOORRGGGG this actually reminded me that RIGHT before the closet scene i was originally planning on explicitly stating that they'd gone out to get run of the mill and ordered it to-go without telling donnie and he just kinda. drifts in the kitchen doorway when he notices before leaving, unnoticed the whole time, which adds an extra horrible layer to mikey's "i noticed you didn't come to dinner" right before dragging him out. it honestly just didnt pan out because i couldnt find a way to pace it (+ it might have been a bit repetitive with the april scene later, which is meant to capture the same feeling of exclusion) but its always been kinda soft canonized in my head lmao more layers of terrible!

and wow im just imagining hueso noticing leo mostly coming alone when he usually comes just with donnie and asking it in a way that's meant to seem more morbidly curious but its TOTALLY because he cares a lot and doesn't want to show it and then leo under the curse just. gives the most horrible response
