At the start of Endgame after Tony does his little speech and goes to lay down he does this little smile right when he closes his eyes...BECAUSE HE IS DREAMING/PRETENDING THAT PEPPER IS THERE WITH HIM BECAUSE LIKE HE SAID ITS ALWAYS YOU.

JUST KILL ME.

do u ever think about how at the start of the MCU, pepper and tony’s relationship consisted mostly of the two of them constantly talking over each other (read: tony talking over pep)?

and that by the end of the franchise they had, like, real conversations with pauses in between where they actually let each other talk?

that’s character development.

you can also think about how their very last conversation was entirely one-sided in a way you wouldn’t expect, but i strongly suggest not doing that for your mental health

pepperony week 21: the ways they say i love you

Can we talk about this real quick?

I think one of my favorite glimpses we get of happy Pepperony is all the stuff at the lakehouse. Like they have lived together at the Tower and in Malibu but this is really a home. This is where they get to just be Tony and Pepper and raise their daughter and their alpaca and chickens. 

I especially love all the pictures they have all over their house. There’s already been a post with the breakdown of pics you glimpse during Tony’s ending goodbye speech with legit pics of the actors and that was beautiful. And then of course there’s the pic of Tony and Peter in the kitchen and I think there was a Howard one too? In the deleted scene with Gerald though did anyone just notice this giant picture collage in the background?

And this other group of pics behind Pepper’s other shoulder?

You can spy a baby Morgan picture with a couple others and a little note on the wall.

The other collage is hard to make out any definite pics but you can make out a few of what looks like Tony.

They were just so happy ya’ll. They built this life in those 5 years, a culmination of their entire lives together and they just lived it to the fullest. That house is full of happy memories, and pictures, and notes. 

They knew how short life could really be and they made the most of the time they had together as a family before the next crisis came for them and i just think it’s beautiful and they deserved 100 more years and a million more pictures together and i just have a lot of feelings right now...

*gasp* I have been chosen.

I was tagged by @garciiaflynn to list my top otps. Is it only five? lol. I have so many more than five. Let me see what happens. In no particular order.

1. Garcia Flynn/Lucy Preston (Timeless)

Garcy. Newie but goodie! Oh, these two, I swear. So much chemistry and such unique possibility I began shipping it the very first time I saw the trailer. No lie. By now I have written literally thousands of words of meta and conclusions on why I love them, and if I start here, it will quickly go that way again. I’ll just hit the high notes. They meet and Flynn already has pre-established fondness for her because he’s read her journal from the future saying they’re going to work together. And from there it’s just a roller coaster of emotions on Lucy’s journey to understanding and helping this sad, sad man who is not evil.

2. Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams (Hawaii Five-0)

McDanno. Proof that I can have a healthy ship between two people who love and support each other. lol. I can do it! I just usually choose not to. Steve and Danny’s relationship. It’s been such a good thing since the Pilot, and sometimes it’s the only thing that keeps me watching H50. What’s more beautiful than two people who would go (and literally have gone) to the ends of the world for each other? They regularly say, “I love you.” They genuinely want the other to be happy. They’re best friends who fight like an old married couple. It’s perfect. I love them. And I want it to be canon. It practically is already.

3. Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham (Hannibal)

Hannigram. Proof that, for the good of humanity, some people should have never met. But I’ll buy tickets to the disaster. One of the most unhealthy relationships it has ever been my pleasure to watch unfold. Mutual murder attempts, friendship, gaslighting, sensual hand bandaging, a deep understanding of each other that no one else can come close to, cannibalism, this ship has it all! I love unhealthy relationships, especially one so codependent.

4. Guy of Gisborne/Marian of Knighton (Robin Hood)

Poisoned my water supply, burned my crops, and delivered a plague unto my house. 9/10. Highkey ruined my life for a very long time. I don’t think anything can come close to the agony these two gave me on a regular basis. (Like please don’t come close. My heart can’t take it. Flynn/Lucy is trying to get close. Back off.) Always painful all the time. Always frustrating. Guy needed a relationship like the one he had with Marian so we could see that other, kinder side of him. He really loved her. But he screwed it up at every turn. Why... Why are you so horrible? Why? Like... why?

5. Tony Stark/Loki (The Avengers)

FrostIron! Because why the eff not? That is just hours of guaranteed fun right there. They are both so sarcastic and witty. They have an amazing repartee. Their scene in The Avengers remains my absolute favorite to this day. And because of how their characters act, there’s such a wide array of ways to ship them. You can go funny. You can go angsty. Everything is possible and everything is in character.

My character trails their tongue up your character's back. What does your character do?

He'd been half asleep when Tony had crowded against him, hands on his hips and nose in the small of his back. It would be too much effort to speak up about it- to ask what the man was doing- and the rough scrape of his twin's beard sent tremors up his spine every time Tony's lips moved against his skin.

He wasn't in a hurry to interrupt.

There were hands to consider as well- dragging down his thighs and pulling them open. He managed to stay quiet until the wet slide of the other's tongue started up his spine, counting vertebrae and nipping his skin after every third. "Tony--" He started- unsure of where he was going with that- not wanting the man to stop, but...

His twin went still for a moment, leaning over into his space like he was waiting for something. Like Tony could possibly forget he was there.

Tony reached back for a hand- entwining their fingers and pinning them to the bed. Don't stop. The little hitch in his breath said it all- and his twin was laughing, something low and affectionate as their bodies fit together and Tony arched up into him. He wasn't going back to sleep any time soon... But his twin was whispering endearments into his skin, now, marking them with teeth and tongue as they curled around each other.

He wasn't in any hurry.
