Hello, if you don't mind, can I ask, who are your top favorite romantic relationship's couples in any media, like anime/manga, tv series, books, etc (can be canon or non-canon)? Feel free if you want to write the reasons or not of why you love them....Thanks if you want to answer....
What's uppp it's been months since you asked this because I forgot to answer but I love this question!
Okay my favorites of all time:
Merlin/Arthur (BBC Merlin) - they're my forever OTP. Literally two sides of the same coin, they captured my heart a long time ago and will never leave.
Buffy/Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - they have a very complicated relationship but it's so interesting to me and I think they really understand each other in certain ways that others around them can't see.
Bakugou/Midoriya (My Hero Academia) - I started watching this a year ago and now I'm obsessed with them (embarrassing for me I know). Their relationship (whether you view it as platonic or romantic) is in many ways the core of the story and they are also just very obsessed with each other to an extreme degree.
Lyra/Will (His Dark Materials) - I read this at a very formative age and it's one of the most beautiful and tragic love stories I've ever read. Highly recommend if you love anti-religious themes and getting your heart broken.
Here are some others that I'm not gonna go into because if I did I would just keep talking for days:
Vash/Wolfwood (Trigun), Toga/Ochako (My Hero Academia), Dabi/Hawks (My Hero Academia), Faith/Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Light/L (Death Note), Jackie/Shauna (Yellowjackets), Kageyama/Hinata (Haikyuu!!), Tosh/Owen (Torchwood), Catra/Adora (She-Ra), Stiles/Lydia (Teen Wolf), Scott/Allison/Isaac (Teen Wolf), Keeley/Jamie/Roy (Ted Lasso), Quentin/Elliot (The Magicians)
i'm sure there's more but i'll stop there.

"things you were afraid to say" with june and ben from aP! i don't know if they have a ship name :0
WOW this has been sitting in a word document for, like, two weeks
i don’t believe for like, a second that ben quigley, who wanted to get to know the planet before going into space, would just quit thinking about time travel and settle down with june without thinking about the consequences at least once a little ways down the line
(though, idk, they’re not my characters so ymmv. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
“There’s someone on the lawn, honey,” Ben says, trying to keep his voice steady.
June pauses, in the process of removing a roast beef from the oven. “Not Miss Albright?” she says, sounding perfectly neutral. Ben surreptitiously peeks out the blinds again.
“No,” he says. “Definitely not.”
“Well, then come away from the window,” June says, smoothing down her skirt. “It’ll only attract their attention more. And turn out the light in there, would you?”
“It won’t do much good if they already know we’re here,” Ben says, but does as he’s told.
June has turned their old oil lamp in the dining room down very low and is rummaging around in the drawer of the china cabinet for a box of matches. “It’ll be romantic,” she says, and Ben knows she’s trying to keep her voice light by the way it trembles on the word romantic. “Dinner by candlelight.”
Ben knows better than to disagree with June in this case. He moves into the kitchen and goes rummaging for a bottle of wine. “Red or white?” he calls.
“Red tonight, I think,” June replies. “I think we’re both going to need it.”
Ben laughs and pulls the ’43 he’s been saving for a day just like this. As he makes to turn the lights off, he catches June in the process of lighting the candles on the table, humming quietly to herself as she does so.
They’ve been doing this for three years now, living as off the radar as they can given their ties to ODAR, turning all the lights out and ignoring the outside world when someone appears on their lawn to spy on them. Neither of them has exhibited symptoms of butterfly syndrome yet, to Petra and Sally’s immense relief. June often says it’s because she thinks that it’s because June never travelled through time herself and Ben hasn’t left yet. (The yet is always an afterthought, a word weighed down with grief and anger and the inevitability of their lives.)
There’s a lot Ben needs to think about and plan and do, but right now he’s standing in a dining room watching the woman he loves (and he’s not afraid to think that anymore) lay out place settings for dinner, and he knows that if he could freeze time and live in this moment forever he’d do it in a second.
June straightens and admires her work with a small smile, and then looks at him. The way she looks at him, like she’s always amazed and delighted to see him, will never fail to make Ben’s heart lurch the way it had when they first met outside that gas station on 66. “Well?” she says. “You gonna stand there and look pretty or are you gonna come eat?”
Ben shakes his head and smiles. “Eat, please,” he says, and brings the bottle of wine to the table.
They spend most of dinner in silence. Ben is toying with the words in his head and ends up running his fingers around the edge of his wine glass for a solid three minutes before June looks up from where she’s cutting herself a third helping of roast. “More wine?” she asks him.
“Not yet,” he says. “I— there’s something I want to say first.”
June puts down the knife and stares at him over the table. “All right,” she says. “You look nervous.”
“I’m terrified,” he admits. “I— we both know this can’t go on forever, not if we want time to stay right.”
The smile slides off of June’s face immediately. “Don’t you go saying that, Ben Quigley,” she says fiercely. “You promised—,”
“I’ve seen pictures of the two of us from ’43,” Ben says, “and I’m not looking anything like that right now. We got time, Junebug, and plenty of it. And I—,” He stops, and he looks down at his plate.
June’s voice is softer when she speaks again. “Ben…”
“June, it’s been my genuine pleasure to fall in love with you,” Ben says, in a rush. “And I was wondering if… if maybe I’d be lucky enough to be married to you twice.”
June stares at him, mouth slightly open. “Are you proposing?” she asks him. “Over the dinner table? On a Thursday?”
Ben chuckles. “Well, I guess I am,” he says. “I know I’m not doing it quite right, but my knees are still a little sore from the gardening yesterday, and I don’t have a ring—,”
“I do,” June interrupts. “It’s your mother’s. You gave it to me in 1943.”
Ben stares at her. “Oh, goodness,” he says, faintly. “I hope there aren’t two of them floating around now.”
“Well, you drove all the way back home to get it for me,” June says, “or so you told me, so we might be all right.”
“That’s all right then, but I notice that you never gave me an answer.” Ben says.
June blinks, and it’s only then that he realizes her eyes are glassy. “Oh, no, honey, don’t cry,” he says desperately. “Please don’t cry.”
“I’m sorry,” she whispers, and rubs at her eyes with the back of her hand, the way she does when they’re alone together and she doesn’t feel the need to use a handkerchief like the other neighborhood ladies do. “It’s just, you died on me, and I was grieving for so long. I never dreamed that we’d get a second go at this. I never dreamed I’d see you again, let alone get to have you back.”
Ben reaches across the table and June immediately takes his hands and squeezes tight. “If ODAR wants to take you from me again,” she says fiercely, “they will have to kill me first.”
“Please let’s not talk about either of us dying,” Ben says. “It’s inevitable even if we hadn’t experienced time travel. And I would prefer maybe to have a life with you first.”
June nods. And then she nods and nods and nods and the tears are properly rolling down her face now but there’s a brilliant smile spreading across it and she says, “Yes, Ben, yes, yes, I’ll marry you.”
In an instant Ben is up and around the table and swept June up in his arms. He’s still never kissed her, which seems like a serious oversight on his part, but even as he has the thought June has taken his face between her hands and kissed him on the mouth and ohhhhhhh boy was not kissing her before a serious oversight on his part.
She pulls away suddenly, staring at him with bright eyes and a wicked smile on her face. “Next time you ask me,” she says, “if you don’t get down on one knee I’m going to say no.”
Ben laughs and hugs her tighter. “I will expect nothing less, honey,” he says.
There is probably still someone lurking out on their front lawn, but for this moment, hanging in time, away from everything else, that shadow is a problem for another day.

Assorted OTP Questions! Who is always cold? Which member is always trying to bring home stray animals and which member always has to say no? Who worries more? Who is the better cook? Who is the big/little spoon? :)
Thanks so much for the ask <3 I always love interacting with you, you're literally the sweetest!
1) Jughead- I am convinced that he is an absolute wimp when it comes to temperature! I mean, think about it, we see Tabitha in PJs and short sleeve tops all the time, but when do we ever see him without a jacket/robe on, paired with jeans! I swear I've only seen his legs once in the entire show. I can also imagine her ruthlessly teasing him for it and gently encouraging him to take his jacket off- "It won't ruin your bad boy persona to avoid getting heat stroke, Jones."
2) Also Jughead. He definitely has a soft spot for strays and loves dogs in particular. It is a personal headcannon of mine that at one point, he finds a scraggly little creature living behind a dumpster and takes it home- of course Tabitha tries to convince him to take it to a shelter, but after seeing him snuggled up to it when she comes home from work, sees how much it helps calm him, and relents. They name it after a Quentin Tarantino movie, of course.
3) Tabitha. Jughead is a terrible impulse buyer, despite being broke, and she has to explain to him that the money he wants to spend buying random trinkets from the thrift store needs to go towards their rent. He also frequently tries to convince her to skip her shifts for "valuable cuddle time"; she hates to say no. "Jug, it's time for me to go." "You need to let go of me now, ok? I'll be back soon."
4) Tabitha again :) I'm certain that after quite a rocky childhood, and some stressful college/early working years, she struggles with some anxiety. She most definitely worries about Jughead and his mental health, Pop's, her family and the town itself, not to mention the fact that she isn't as accustomed to the chaos as she is. Having Jughead around the diner sometimes definitely helps- whenever she's feeling overwhelmed or anxious she just has to give her a look, and he instantly comes over to give her a supportive hug or some words of encouragement. I can also picture her being a bit of a perfectionist and Jughead having to assure her that her work is good enough, and she is perfect. Maybe he'd eventually even show her his vomit drafts
5) Ooh I think they'd both be amazing cooks separately, but come together as an absolute dream team. Tabitha is definitely more efficient, as comes with all of her work in the diner, but Jughead's food is so beautiful to look at- his burgers look like DaVinci paintings but, y'know, with meat and stuff (I am so sorry for that, I'm too tired for this). Everything they make always tastes delicious, and they are the talk of the town.
6) Finally, I reckon they switch! Both of them have good and bad days, and sometimes they need just that little bit of extra attention. For example, the day Jughead found out about the severity of his hearing loss, he was the little spoon, but the day Pop's caught fire, she was. I even picture them spending hard nights together before they started officially sleeping under the same roof. It always makes them feel better, heads tucked into each others shoulders, breathing in each others familiar scents'.
Anyway, I rambled on for a while there- I hope you enjoy this! It was fun to think about. (Also I could not be bothered to proof read this so if it is completely incoherent, don't judge mua).

You know who I am gonna ask for, let's be honest. Freddy Krueger. Lay it alllll out!
[Was planning on drawing an entire comic response to this with all the Freddys making appearances but I don't have enough image space on a Tumblr post without separating into reblogs, and I don't have the time or energy lately, let alone the patience to draw multiple variations of his face in several panels. Also it should be noted I started this prior to my undercut, hence the hair.]
What do I love most about Freddy? Uhhh... If I'm being genuine, the unique nature he's got among the wide array of slashers. I think Wes Craven was utterly brilliant coming up with the character, and the nightmare sequences in-film are spectacularly executed.
If we're talking dislikes, that's an entire list. I should probably save it for a separate post, tbh. I've nursed a long grudge against Freddy since my early childhood and that's not exactly gone away yet, even if he's grown on me and I can appreciate him now. For now I'll just say I really don't like having competition for being the most obnoxious-yet-charming bitch in a room.
Got several favorite quotes from this bastard but I'll only list two. "Every town has an Elm Street" is probably the one I quote most as an adult and it's on some of the fan merch I own. But apparently the quote that stuck with kid me for years was "I am eternal" and I forgot it was a Freddy quote until this year and when I saw the GIFs of him saying that I just had an "oh you motHERFUCKER" moment.
BROTP: Can the various Freddys tolerate each other? Probably not, but I can't see him really having friends to even have a BROTP otherwise.
OTP: ...okay, this one should probably get a doodled comic at some point.
NOTP: Quentin. This one shouldn't bear explaining.
A random headcanon I've had for a while that I'm still a little on the fence about is that he probably always had some dormant hypnokinetic abilities. Probably unaware of it most of his life, but could tap into it during his dreams and it likely tied into his coping mechanisms. Unfortunately, his powers didn't actually have a chance to manifest until after the rather awkward business of dying.
Unpopular opinion time? *deep breath* The 2010 reboot had potential, really powerful potential, and the real tragedy of the thing isn't the fans comparing it to the OG '84 film (though that does get old fast.) The comparisons are inevitable. It was the fact that the OG script for 2010 was loads better than the final product we got, and the fact the theatrical ending killed it. I'm glad the "alternate" ending survived to DVD/Blu-Ray release because it's good. If we'd had that as the theatrical ending instead of what we'd got? While it wouldn't have saved the film from some of the jumbled writing and CGI that aged poorly, it would have made the entire thing better. The '84 film was about facing fear, whereas if the "alt" ending was kept in 2010, we would have had a very powerful story about facing one's abuser and overcoming trauma. And it's a shame and a travesty we were robbed of that, because it's a story I think is always needed.
Song that reminds me of him? Ignoring the obvious options and likewise ignoring the fact I should have made a playlist by now and haven't... In general The Python's Song reminds me of him more than it reminds me of Kaa, (despite it having been part of The Jungle Book OST my entire life.) If you wanted something more on the shippy side and you don't mind metal, Black Wedding by In This Moment is one I easily tend to associate with Freddy as well.
I'm not sure if I've picked a single favorite image of him yet, tbh. One day though!

To no one's surprise, your thoughts on Dwight!
Ooh! Dwight.. Love him lots! Ty for this ask <3
(Link to the original ask meme)
———
do I like them: I do! Once again has the OG4 status and I love em all so much lol. He's got a lot of potential, even with the little amount of information we get on him. (Tomes are a devil I rarely address.) An anxious leader is a neat mix of traits that you'd assume are mutually exclusive, but aren't, which is fun to toy with.
4* good qualities:
- Dwight's perks heavily imply that, as a person, he's very efficient when working with others. In a place like the realm, that's crucial. Teamwork makes the dream work baybee!
- With how vague his lore is and the plethora of outfits you can choose from for him, there's a lot you can work with when it comes to characterizing Dwight in a way you like and still having him seem like, well, Dwight.
Not really qualities of him per se? But,
- He has some pretty good cosmetics. As BHVR's "mascot" survivor it's not all that surprising, but a lot of them are really well done. He's got a lot to work with in terms of cosmetics.
- Bond is a god tier perk and I love it lol. Dwight mains also happen to be sweethearts.
3 bad qualities:
- Not necessarily a quality of his more than a peeve I have about his character - in his base lore, his story essentially boils down to "this guy is literally just a loser" and while it was very fitting back in the day, compared to new lore, it just.. feels out of place now. I can't even say it's bad. It was an interesting place to take it, but it feels out of place now. Tome as well but more because it doesn't really "fit" the base lore we have for him.
- if we're talking canon, the fact that Dwight was willing to drug someone to get back at them? I get wanting to get back at someone who's been nothing but a dick, but drugs? Sorry dweet but that's not very epic of you lol
- His perk quotes are interesting, because they imply that while he IS a leader, he values his own life above anyone else's. Very selfish implications for him as a character, at least when he first enters the realm.
otp: Parkfield! Said it in the Jake ask, but it was my first dbd ship and I still think it's very cute. That or Claudwight (Blame Tom for that one, they've grown on me haha. Love those cute nerds <3)
brotp: I think Dwight and Quentin would get along really well!
ot3: This ask meme is really telling me that I need to think about ot3s more haha
notp: God I don't even know. A good chunk of ships for dbd, killer and survivor especially, are a no-go. If I had to pick a ship I absolutely DETESTED for Dwight, probably him and ghostface? Big dislike.
best quote: well, we have two. The one I like the most is definitely the quote for Bond, because it's funny to me, and shows a bit of his character, whether past or present: "We have to work as a team, I need you to survive so that I can survive!"
head canon: I'll put a couple to compensate for cutting down on others again,
- Dwight is blind as a bat without his glasses. Better hope someone else can find them for him if they get whacked off or something lol.
- Dwight is often the one people go to for "dad advice." even if he thinks he doesn't have much to provide in terms of advice, a lot of the time his words are at least a reassurance or comfort.
-In the beginning, his abilities did help his team, but on his own? Dwight kind of sucked at like.. everything. Bad. Over time he's definitely improved, since you have to if you want to survive, but he still probably feels bad about not being very good at healing or loops like Claudette and Meg are.
- Very good at formulating plans in his head. He's a damn good leader, especially in sticky situations, but he's definitely nervous that he's not the RIGHT kind of leader that his fellow survivors need.
———
This is reminding me that I really want to do some more character exploration for Dwight! I think too much about Philip and Claudette and not a whole lot of anything else, which isn't an issue because I love them a lot, but I should mix it up. I still really love the OG4, Dwight especially. TYSM for the ask!! Was fun to write out <3
#dwight Fairfield#dead by daylight#allex answers#ask#drakos-oc-hoard#tysm for the ask drako!! your Dwights are a big motivation to try n think about him more often#good to see some appreciation for him#dbd
