the more i learn about autonomic issues the more i'm like wow maybe i would have had way fewer problems if my mother had bothered to take me to a doctor when i was very ill multiple times instead of like putting an onion on my head about it
#like one time i was so sick i spent at least a day but i don't remember exactly how long lying on the floor of my friends bedroom#with a high fever and feeling like i would pass out when i stood up and she didn't do anything at all about it#or how when i got my period and she hadn't told me about it and i had such bad cramps i was throwing up for days and she didn't give me#so much as an advil. the only time i remember being treated for an illness as a child was one time i had those antibiotics w the weird tube#dispenser thing. besides that no doctor at all only traumatizing dentists. but im mostly over that now#the onion was supposed to be a cure for ear infections lmao. had to interrogate her to make sure i was actually vaccinated for fucking polio#as a baby but luckily i was a csection in the hospital so i did get vaccines#otherwise i probably would have gotten fucking tetanus or something as a kid running around in the woods since she never put me in school#gooooddddddddd.#i know it's bad and not realistic but i wish there were like prerequisites to having children#me
