when I see a post about something I was just thinking about on other platforms I feel creeped out, like the algorithm has hacked my brain and there is no escape from targeted content even in the safety of my own mind

when I see a post about something I was just thinking about on tumblr I feel happy because my mutuals and I are hooked up to the one brain cell we all collectively share. there is no demon brain worm algorithm showing me that post, just my moot having the same thoughts as me at roughly the same time
