Okay, so I normally don't make promos, but also I fucked up.

I'm Dandy! I was trying to clean out my sideblogs the other day, and managed to delete my main in the process, deleting it and all my sideblogs with it.

Right now I'm mostly looking to reconnect with my mutuals and find new blogs to follow. (Looking for other artists, nature/animal blogs (specifically bugs and reptiles), Pokemon stuff, etc.) I remade my artblog, @dandysphinx, too, and am going to be posting old art on there, too.

So uhh. It’s Dandy.

I was trying to work on cleaning out old sideblogs last night and deleted my main on accident.

I’m gonna work on refollowing people but if I’m gonna be totally honest I don’t know how much I’ll be able to dedicate myself to a new blog.

I already contacted staff and apparently when a blog is gone it’s Gone, so my main that I’ve filled with inspiration for art and just things that made me happy over the years, and art account I’ve had since highschool are gone for good and I won’t lie. I’m bummed out about it. The fact that theres no grace period or any real failsafe for deleting your main and everything with it is. Kinda absurd.

honestly pride online gets more and more discouraging every year like. whether or not the people starting it are doing it to make bait posts or are whole heartedly believing it, theres always really egregious discourse that pops up and really upsetting infighting and even with things like merch it's getting really discouraging Especially as a lesbian bc i still see people make merch sets and very much exclude the lesbian pride flag despite it being mainstream and despite the creator of it still financially struggling or i see people blaze their posts on here with trans pride merch and it feels so sour to give this site money to sell merch when they go out of their way to silence trans women on here. it just all sucks and i wish i didnt dread using websites like here more and more each year but here we are.

like. nothing about what i see online with pride says anything about community to me. this does not feel like a community.

I think one of the most fucked up things too about allegedly not being able to restore my old tumblr is I am Literally looking at the icons of people I had DM's from FROM MY OLD BLOG

but sure there's no way this is able to be restored. Sure.
