it's a fantasy game with the exact vibes of hetalia bc every character is like "this is my country, fantasy!scotland, i am its diplomatic representative. let's start shit with other countries over grain export" but theres like three personifications representatives (they are human, right??) for each country. the countries include fantasy!france, fantasy!china and fantasy!uhh something from the middle east but portrayed extremely orientalistically. so in my understanding genshin is like if there was a game thats a crossover of hetalia and the ranger's apprentice series. no idea how you play it tho

One of the most heart-wrenching things that've ever happened to me occurred while trying to research the Super Paper Mario art style.

"Ohh what a beautiful and interesting art style! It is very distinctive! I wonder if anyone else has tried or wanted to try breaking it down and replicating it?" Obliviously, I typed in Super Paper Mario Art Style into my search bar... only to find many people calling it ugly and saying they hate it.

This simply could not be... permanent damage was done to my artistic soul.

No joy? No whimsy in this world? No love of computer graphics? Of a certain era of clipart? Of the art that was born from the computer and is difficult to replicate without one? Of the art made when this was something new and fascinating? No love for something unique?

Super Paper Mario don't listen to all those haters I love your geometric art style influenced by what shapes are easily drawn on a computer and the smooth mechanical interpolation within your animations. I love you. Also the music is banger.

Paradox versions of my two favorite pokemon

Prophecy Wings is based on angels and Absol's mega evolution. I know past paradox mons are more prehistoric, but I was going for an idea that Absol was once seen in a positive light and almost revered as a deity of sorts

Iron Seeker is based on security cameras. The orbs floating around it are small cameras and it can control them telekinetically. In whatever timeline it exists, I imagine it's effectively used as a security guard

so mcyt stands for minecraft youtube, which i discovered after many months of thinking it was either some my chemical romance album title or something mcu-related. and its a fandom for a bunch of 20-something years old men playing minecraft together and streaming it on youtube (and possibly twitch). notable members of the community include: 1. jerma (i think hes part of it? hes the man with the funny face), 2. techno (he died of cancer last year, which i know because the kids i was babysitting in july kept building shrines for him), 3. dream (i dont know what "dream smp" means and i refuse to learn), 4. some guy named schlott. having never played minecraft myself i couldnt begin to guess what they are actually doing
