Opening Tonight: This painting is being shown publicly for the first time @rmgoshawa in the @oshawa.art.association 51st Annual Art Exhibition. . Based on an old photograph and named for the words scrawled in the back: ‘Give This To Jack And Alice’. . This deeply personal painting is a portrait of my Baba and her sisters standing in front of one of the family farms in rural Manitoba. My Baba was always encouraging of my creative work. She always asked me how it was going. She had an incredible sense of humour and quick wit. She passed away never having seen one of my paintings in person. This is for Alice.
