soooo… i was listening to sad songs rn and a very painful scenario got in my head tHAT ACTUALLY MADE ME TEAR UP HAHSHHWHWBW 😭😭

“hey, what are you doing here all alone?” your head perks up to his voice. the sea breeze dances across your face as you smiled at him.

“the sun’s setting at this time. just wanted to watch it .” you answered as qimir smiles at that, choosing to sit beside you by the rocks. one of your favorite places on this planet. even though most of the time the weather here was rain, it did have some sunny days, which you loved to go outside and just sit in silence to watch the twin suns set in the horizon.

“how’s osha?” you asked, knowing qimir had done a particularly rough sparring session on her.

“good progress. still not there though.” he replies, looking at you with soft eyes that were reserved solely for you.

“i’m sure she’ll exceed your expectations like i did.” you assured him and he shakes his head.

“no one will be as great as you are.” he says with much admiration for you. you let out a soft laugh, rolling your eyes. his chest swells with love for your laughter.

“well, thank you, i guess.” you shrugged. “but… you got to train osha in a different way than what you trained me. take a look at her skills, focus on that.” you suggested.

“i don’t know about that.” he confesses, there’s a sad look in his eyes in which you sadly smile at that.

“think about it. i’m sure she’ll progress much faster if you do it.” you take his hand in yours, rubbing soft circles between his thumb and pointer finger. qimir lifts your hand up to his lips, gently kissing it as you smiled at him. “and it’s good that you have someone finally, qimir.”

his eyes stare at yours. “i have you.”

“you do…” you nod as he got closer to press his forehead against yours. this moment he feels is like a dream, as if he has forgotten everything that just happened in the past few days. you beside him, in his home, by the seashore, hand to hand, enjoying each other’s company. “but…”

“hm?” he closes his eyes, reeling in to your voice and touch.

“when will you let me go, my qi?” your voice is a hush sad whisper he wishes that it was otherwise. his brows furrow as he refuses to acknowledge the reality of what he’s witnessing now.

“in a while.” his eyes water as he holds you close, you put on a sad smile. a silence transpires and the crashing waves are ringing through his ears. his throat constricts as he finally opens his eyes to see you gone. he lets out a shaky sigh as he looks to the horizon, heart aching as he realizes he’s alone. you always knew when to appear when he’s deep in his own feelings. tears dampen his cheeks as he lets the night fall while he reminisces about you.

in a while, he’ll let you go. but for now, he’ll still hold on.

Some points to note before you move to the event visualizer : 

🟣 My anchoring style is highly energetic and bubbly so you can imagine me doing a lot of hand gestures, changing pitch and tones of my voice, moving around on the stage a lot, etc. Hehe.  

🟣 The theatre/event venue has been engineered by the best engineers of the world, with the most modern technology. The petals of the lotus can close or open to hide or reveal the night sky. It can also change its colours. For tonight, it's indigo!  

🟣 The "OUTFIT CHECK" were clicked in different places (according to where the member was spotted first) hence the different background. 

🟣 I didn't want to write too dialogues on yall's behalf but I can't really bother you with every small detail, so I hope whatever dialogues I've made up are not too out of character! 

🟣Ignore the contradiction of same blue locker entering the scene multiple times, pretend there are a few copies of each member 🥰👍🏻

🟣 Ignore the outfit mismatch in the edits (any edit after the outfit checks please, our editing skills only go so far 🙏🏻 ) 

🟣 I highly suggest that you listen to songs as you keep finding them being embedded in links for added feels and extra hype! 🔥

🟣 The performances where multiple songs have been used is supposed to be a mashup. You can imagine the mashup to be as you please! The songs I've bunched together are for the sole purpose of creating a particular vibe, so as long as to they are fulfilled it's all good! 😌🤝🏻

GX WINNER ANNOUCNEMENT

It completely went over my head to make a winner announcement post, so even though this tourney has been over for some time now, here is an annoucnement of the winners!

Our two quarterfinalists, our bronze-medalists, are none other than Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle & Treeborn Frog! Ruby was not a surprise to me, as its one of the aces of fan-favorite Johan Andersen and overall is so cute & iconic, but I was still glad to see that little guy get so far! Treeborn Frog on the other hand WAS a surprise to me, as it was a card that I forgot about yet this little frog was able to get farther than many fan favorites. Good job you guys!

For our runner-up and silver medalist is none other than Rescue Cat! This OSHA-approved kitty got soooo much father than anyone thought, again beating many fan favorites, and even looked like they were going to beat our eventual winner for a while (and I mean it, there was a good chunk of time in the finals that Rescue Cat was beating the eventual winner & even I thought it might have won!) This is no small feat, considering how popular our eventual winner was, so don't take this cat lying down! Congrats Rescue Cat!

Finally, our winner was none other than WINGED KURIBOH!!!

IS IT ANY SURPRISE? Kuriboh was the winner of the DM tourney and Winged Kuriboh is such an iconic and classic monster. It is the MASCOT of GX, no context! Winged Kuriboh, we salute you!

Anyway, thank you for the great GX tourney! As you guys might have guessed with how how it took me to post rounds of GX tourney I have been losing interest in doing Yugioh monster tournaments. However, I do still want to do a 5Ds tourney, but that might be the last one. Submissions won't open for a while in any case, maybe a few weeks!

In your opinion, what characters from asoiaf were better adapted on the show? In terms of writing/ story/ appearance/ acting. And what characters turned out to be a disappointed compared to their book version?

oh god okay so, given that to me they had started well for almost all and then ended up in a mess

well-adapted + good acting:

bronn (I mean he’s probably had more screentime than book page-time and he’s less of an ass but I do enjoy him so)

davos (he has his moments of wtf but in general he’s one of the few that actually didn’t get the WHAT IS THIS OOC MOMENT treatment)

... I guess cersei though they softened her up too much and did a fairly bad woobification job in s2 but in comparison to the rest...

jon (he’s the one out of the main three whose storyline I always enjoyed regardless of the targaryen crap at the end of S7)

tyrion (a+ acting, the character is way less gray than he should be but at this point I’ll take it)

bran (I mean okay but what’s this emotionless crap from S7 get out)

arya if we count S1-6, S7 was atrocious

brienne because gwen is a+ but they destroyed her with ooc-ness in S5 and they seem to think she’s the hulk 90% of the time

I guess margaery but I think they tried to make her look better than she actually is and idec that much about her so

the blackfish ie a+++ until his absolutely uncalled for demise

sandor because they gutted his S2 story but he’s fairly okay for the average

cat (a++++ acting throughout, so sidelined in S3 I wanted to punch someone, total ooc writing in S3 half of the time)

sansa (I was good with sansa until S4, then S5 happened and I just - blergh. half of the time she’s okay and half I’m like wtf, but fucking S5 turned me sour forever)

theon (started well, then went into torture porn and whatever but then they sidelined him from HIS OWN GODDAMNED STORYLINE AND HE STILL DOESN’T KNOW RAMSAY IS DEAD AND don’t get me started on how much I loathe theon’s sl, this last season was sortamaybemoredecent but I still think they robbed him)

asha (yara is not asha EW I love gemma but nope)

jaime (best character arc ever after theon, TOTALLY BUTCHERED FROM S4 TO S7 and the fact that he relapses into being an ass when cersei’s around and brienne’s not just shows they didn’t understand shit about the fact that after brienne gives him the kickstart he wants to be decent and stays wholly decent idk why they did S5/6/7 SIX ESPECIALLY but good fucking grief I’m so angry about jaime you don’t even wanna know)
