KOFtober Day 16: Eating/Drinking

The full moon loomed over the dark wood, casting its silvery light onto the trees below. A tall figure was feasting on another deer that he killed, its blood slowly oozing onto the forest floor. Its eyes were vacant and tongue lolled from its mouth. On its neck was a large tear in its throat, as its jugular has been removed earlier.

The red-haired man - or beast, rather - was feasting on the deer's carcass. The morsels of meat he devoured were quite delicious, and he did so in a way a wolf would. As his claws and teeth tore through the skin and flesh of his prey, his bloodlust was fueled even further.

More. Iori - no, the beast - wanted more. He needed more.

(Nourish yourself, my child.)

He snarled as his hands continued to tear through the deer's flesh, which started to expose some bone. The beast greedily devoured the deer's hindquarters, swallowing massive pieces of flesh.

As soon as he had his fill, he turned his attention towards the sound of something scurrying in the brush. A rabbit darted quickly towards the other side, as if it sensed Iori. The beast smiled wickedly as he saw his new prey, blood still dribbling from his mouth.

Without warning, he quickly sprinted towards the frightened rabbit, who tried to run away. Unfortunately for the poor creature, the beast ensnared his bloodied hands onto it. The rabbit emitted a loud squeal and attempted to wriggle itself free, but it was too late. The beast quickly ripped the rabbit's head off, spilling the crimson liquid everywhere.

Without wasting any time, he bit into the rabbit's flesh and savored its gamey taste. It was delicious.
