Then did a silver beast descend from the cloud in the likeness of a great bird, and spat bolts of lightning from its wings into the water, and the horses of the chariots died, and the men of the chariots shook as with palsy, fell to the waters, and drown. Then a great flame emitted from the mouth of the beast and the host of the Edomite’s were consumed. To the last blade of grass, they were consumed and the Earth scorched black.
