hello, sorry to bother you about this but i was wondering if you knew when/where fiomeras' smitten face painter art was oringially posted/gen. i can only find posts after the fact with them accusing tgc and not the og post. i wanted to ask you because you seemed fairly invloved with all this and fiomeras' bio says they dont want to be bothered about sky anymore

ah im not actually involved im just. somebody who saw some of the posts/evidence and reblogged a bunch to spread it. as for finding the original post i really can't help much- I remember seeing the og art somewhere but i don't actually tag anything on this blog and a skim through their own blog's sky tags doesn't reveal it either so it might've been deleted ? which i wouldn't blame em for. the art looked really familiar when they posted their claim though

DWSA Touch Me Color Painting Set

The first is the original canvas painting, the new ones are all watercolor half sheets :)

[ID: Seven monochromatic horizontal paintings. They all show close ups of cast members’ actions at the climax of the song Touch Me in the Deaf West production of Spring Awakening. All of them have the words ‘There I go, There I go, TOUCH ME’ with ‘Touch Me’ in all caps. No faces are shown or extremely identifiable. The first is a pink acrylic canvas painting of Wendla being lifted by Ernst. The rest of the paintings are watercolor.

The first watercolor painting is red and shows the edges of Moritz and Melchior holding left hands and swinging their right elbows.

The second is purple and shows Ilse with her right hand near her heart and her left hand reaching between her legs. 

The third is green and shows Martha and Anna. Martha’s hand is reaching up while Anna’s arm goes straight out above her. The edge of Anna’s chest is visible.

The fourth is orange and shows Melitta and Thea. They have their elbows linked with their hands bent around to touch their own necks, which are slightly visible.

The fifth is yellow and shows Georg. His left arm is bent and reaching up, and his right arm is reaching to his left side. 

The sixth is blue and shows the side of Hanschen on the ground, arched slightly. His left arm is bent and raised toward the sky, and his right arm is bent closer to where his head would be.

look the mind wipe episode is a literal Work of Art. Mind wiped Randy is fuckjn adorable and Howard fucking around as the ninja, trying to copy how Randy fights yet adding his own ~~spice~~ as the ninja was really fun to watch. Howard’s intro is better than the oringial intro.

Should have been another Howard as the Ninja episode tbh. Like maybe the bros are fighting over who would be a better ninja and Randy gives Howard the mask to prove it or something idk. I just want more ninja Howard

Paula Scher Timeline

Born - October 6th 1948 - Washington Dc

1970 - Graduated from Tyler school of art with BA - then moved to New York City and worked as a layout artist for Random House

1972 - was hired by CBS records

1973 - pursued a career at Atlantic records as an Art director

1974 - returned to CBS records - remained there for 8 years - she designed several hundred album covers and also received four grammy nominations for her designs

1976 - Created famous Boston album art cover

 1982 - left CBS to pursue her own work including the development of typographic solution based on Russian constructivism and Art Deco.

1987 - Cofounded a design firm with a Fellow Tyler art school graduate

1991 - her studio started to suffer as a result of the recession in the early 90′s - Scher joined Pentagram this year and became the first female Principle of the company.

1992- Became an art educator at school of visual arts New York - she received hundreds of Design awards

1994 - Public theatre - Jenifer Lewsis one woman show poster

1995 - Public theatre - Bring in da noise

2006 - held her first solo exhibition at the Maya Stendhal gallery in New York - due to popular demand the show was extended 4 weeks - she displayed her silk screened maps called ‘The World’

2007 -  created screen prints of NYC transit produced limited edition maps of China 

2011 - London arts fair, TAG fine arts, Islington

2012 - Lonndon oringial print fair, Royal academy London

Olfactory Art

Inspired by the book ‘Art and The Senses’, I have started to look into different forms of art reaching to the different senses. One modern form of art is olfactory art. Olfactory art is an art form which uses scents as the main medium and focus. The word olfactory oringiates from Latin ‘olfacere’ which means to smell. The scent could be presented as a physical scent (at the exhibition), in a form of vapour (visual), symbolism and many imaginative ways. Olfactory art is very clever as it uses the sense of smell to affect the brain in a conscious way and subconscious way.

Northumbria Graduate Show 2017

Back in May all fashionistas swarmed to the Baltic Art Centre for Northumbria’s Graduate Show. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to volunteer at the show, guiding guests around and helping ensure the event ran smoothly. The event took a new layout by creating a ‘live exhibition’, meaning instead of having the clothes hanging on a rail, models stood and wore the garments showing their true perfection from all angles.

After the live exhibition there was then a catwalk where industry professionals came to watch. The amount of talent was extraordinary, such oringial designs executed so professionally. Enjoy the images of some of my favourite pieces so, take a minute to look at all the detailing and hard work that went into these gorgeous garments!

I thought this to be an excellent opportunity to carry out some primary research for my new brief concerning diversity within the modelling industry. However, whilst watching the models make their way down the runway it was hard not to notice a slight lack of diversity. Despite there being a range of different races, the models were all the same stereotypical body types of slim and tall. This is a tradition that has always been a sticking point since this industry was created and it is only recently that different body shapes are slowly being introduced into the world of modelling. I believe it will be a case of major fashion designers integrating all types of diverse models into their shows and once others down the industry hierarchy see that it’s ‘acceptable’ all we can hope is that everyone will see it as normal to have all inclusive models.

So, a huge congratulations to the graduates and I highly recommend visiting the show next year. Or even better volunteer as well, remember the more experience the better it looks on your CV!
