The #FRāMist went to view a project for a client at auction where we spotted an amusing #OrderofthePug #figurine attributed to #Meissen ...hairline crack and old repairs being auctioned #asis $800-$1,200. Since we have a #gaggleofpugs we naturally pulled a #Duke&DuchessofWindsor and beelined for the #arabesque #gilt #porcelain . We were even encouraged to handle it. Good thing my #tchotchke days are behind me - the bidding war over floor and phone brought a hammer price of $21,000. Talk about a conservative estimate.
