I realize this is absolutely not the point of this blog, but I would just like to point out how totally unhinged the Orangina mascot is.

I can't decide which is my favorite: the slutty plants, the zebra that escaped from the set of a 1980s Italian variety program, or the hyper-realistic photo manipulations that appear to show very bland, middle-aged men getting lap dances from anthropomorphized animal strippers. There is also a charming burlesque penguin from a bygone era.

I think I drew too broadly by describing the plants as slutty. Of course, the bamboo shoot is very slutty, this is a given. The lavender, on the other hand, appears to be simply confident in her sensuality as she reclines in bed. The cactus is really more of a femme fatale and the hibiscus, obviously, is Marilyn Monroe - as one would expect. But the palm tree with her flaky, palmy skin, is clearly a nymphomaniac, running down the street while undressing. Or she's supposed to be Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vita. Either way, this is complete madness.
