so anyway. yeah, sorry, edward cullen is fun to criticize as a romantic interest and overall person for lots of reasons, but one of them is not that that he's 104 year old vampire going after a minor bc it ignores the fact that edward cullen is also a teenager. he is frozen at 17 years old. this is a supernatural YA romance where a tweens/tweenagers are supposed to live vicariously thru the protagonist and fantasize what having a cool hot overprotective vampire boyfriend. the twit can't even legally purchase alcohol.

i've seen people complain about INUYASHA AND KAGOME... YES inuyasha is a half-demon that's like 200 years old but he very purposefully has the temperament and appearance of a teenage boy. AGAIN there's fun things to criticize in inuyasha as a series, and inuyasha and kagome's relationship overall, but i'm not batting an EYE at this age gap i'm sorry. it's a fantasy. i am a teenage girl fantasizing about how fucking cool my life would be if i were running around a demon-infested land with my cute and incredibly strong demon boyfriend.
