Like honestly so many ppl have this approach to art n drawing like they are waiting for a cheat code that makes you good....

Like drawing is one of the most accessible artform (you only need a pencil an eraser n a piece of paper) and sure there are tips to look for but you can't subside on those alone... You need to walk the walk n figure it out yourself that's how you learn... There are no strict guidelines to things bc your art is a reflection of YOU and how YOU see things and figure things out... But also it's not that serious just make some pictures lol

#quenthel special #like i tried to get into sewing and knitting and the problem w those is that if you make a mistake you waste expensive fabric ...#w drawing its not an issue bc you can draw on printer paper w the shittiest pen just as good as you can on a canvas w expensive paints #or w a difital tablet... like the tools are different sure but the skills you get skwtching w a pen directly translate to everything else
