Whenever I see "people wouldn't say this about <other cast member>" about focusing on a particular character: they would. They would and they do. As someone who likes Percy, Fjord, and Caleb a lot I've seen plenty of complaints about arcs centering them. I've seen it about Keyleth's Aramente, and I've seen it about Jester in Rumblecusp, and about Yasha and Scanlan's mere existences. I'm glad you haven't, but yes, if any character is front and center for a significant amount of time (or even an insignificant amount of time if they don't meet someone's exact standards for how to be the correct depiction of something, or if they get in the way of/fail to be in someone's preferred ship) I assure you, people have said this.
#like. there ARE things people specifically say about certain cast members#eg people will call Travis stupid in a way they wouldn't DREAM of calling other people#or truly just ignore Ashley's characters entirely even when they're present#but like. every cast member has been the recipient of some form of frothing at the mouth hatred within the fandom i unfortunately promise#cr tag
