Congratulations on being consistent with it I find horrible characters (morally) difficult to make

Thank you! It's funny, I've always had the opposite problem -- I can only get invested in writing a character who is some kind of bastard. My favorites are largely irredeemable jack-offs with a hint of pathos (aka evil but kind of pathetic). This also has a special bonus where you don't have to feel bad about bullying a character when they deserve it.

The downside, of course, is that I can never make a proper heroic protagonist, or any character who would be tolerable to be around, because I only enjoy writing people who make the world worse but kind of suck at even doing that. If ever a story needs a "good guy," they WILL be the least developed thing in it. And I'm not a good world-builder, so that's saying something.
