This is an older suggestion from my last batch of asks. Since I've been cooking up a Kirby Right Back at Ya AU in the background recently.. this old ask inspired me to draw my version of him! :D

My current idea for Galacta Knight is that he was the first star warrior and is their founder. He led the star warriors into glorious battle for a very long time. Victory after victory after victory followed any warriors that fought alongside him.

At some point though, eNeMeE came out with a new era of monsters. Unlike anything the star warriors had ever faced before.. They were faster, stronger, smarter, and had a dark power within them that no one could understand..

It was this new era of monsters that managed to strike down Galacta Knight in battle.. following his defeat, he mysteriously vanished..

After his disappearance, the star warriors spirits were crushed.. The loss of their leader along with these powerful new monsters created the perfect storm and was ultimately what caused the star warriors to lose their footing in the war and get wiped out..

Years later it is either suspected or made clear to Metaknight that Kirby is somehow directly connected to Galactica knight...

This idea is still a work in progress.. and I've kind'a stopped developing my AU in favor of CookieRun brain rot <XDD But this helped me feel inspired to go back to cooking my AU in the background again! So thank you old anon for the idea! :DD

Me: so from what I remember of the early Kirby fandom I saw a lot of people saying that King Dedede and Metaknight hated each other, but that's just straight up not true. You see in Metaknight's first ever appearance it is blatantly stated in the manual that Ming Dedede gave all the Star Rod pieces to his friends, and since Metaknight had a piece than reason would have you to believe that they are friends. But, purely hypothetically, what if they started out as friends but when Metaknight tried and failed to take over dreamland in Kirby Super Star in the process he broke Dedede's trust and lost him as a friend? That would explain how after that event in the Kirby series Metaknight was always kinda working solo unrelated to Dedede, almost like they don't associate with each other anymore? But on a lighter note, since they were forced to work together in Kirby Return to Dreamland maybe they got over their differences and rekindled their old friendship? Maybe they even grew closer and became boyfriends maybe idk? Therapist: ok that was nice, now stop being so hard on yourself it's bad for your mental health Me: no

This year, he drew my persona killed and did a bizarre hate art directed at my 'headcanons'. Dude is pissed simply because he thinks I hate Metaknight?

And here just recently gave me glorious message on Bluesky, containing all kinds of slurs and insults. This was on October 24th. He actively looked after me on his new accounts just to insult me and block me right after like a coward. The darkveemon account got deleted, but his main account is still there. (He has an interest in Digimon so that checks out as well.)

Another unhinged message under my reddit post back from August 2023:

He pretty much acts like a snake around people he's friendly with. Once you are one of the people he decides to hate on, he spews all kinds of slurs and insults at you. If he acts LGBT-friendly, remember that these are the texts he messaged me, an open lesbian. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, every time he drew Sirica, he always has this need to dunk on my headcanons lol. Appearantly my Sirica headcanons are all just about being crazy and hating Metaknight lmao

so yeah, those are the most important informations I need to share. Do not harass him back, just be cautious if you ever run into him and block him. I reported him on NG, he got a warning and one of the first images got deleted by NG self (the one with sprites got deleted by Gomogora himself, a few days earlier). Thankfully, he doesn't have a tumblr as far as I know.

It's best to stay away from him. That's all.

oh i think the mirror worlders just call each other Meta Knight, Kirby, Taranza etc. without a prefix unless they’re around people from Gamble Galaxy and need to make the distinction between them and their counterparts. they’d also probably refer to said counterparts in a similar manner (Pink Kirby, Ugly Taranza, etc.)

like i said he’s got anime metaknights backstory, except the war was with dark matter, and like the anime- they lost that war.  after landing on popstar, he separates himself from his old life and dedicates himself to being a lazy old man who lives for his own happiness

dedede in his prime is still getting his design bounced around in my head, but im very fond of basing him on the high jump ability. his current design still keeps the golden band, and his red cape has been turned into a fuzzy robe.

i’ve drawn him wings before, i’ve since changed my mind and removed them. he still has the cute pheasant feathers. he can fly but doesn’t have the same mastery like basegame!metaknight does swap!metaknight is the ruler of dreamland, and just like basegame!dedede has his own share of problems. the people don’t see him as their ruler so anytime he tries to enforce his will, swap!bandee will stop him. dedede and mk do not get along in the beginning, with mk seeing dedede as a potential threat and dedede seeing mk as a killjoy. dedede technically works under mk(eventually) but no one seems to know what that job is? mk and dedede refuse to elaborate further on it he’s fond of bandee and kirby, and while he promised to train them someday, he tries to get out of that responsibility any chance he can get. he’d rather teach them how to find metaknights secret stash of sweets instead he loves to goof off, but if he gets serious- its like seeing his prime again. however he tries to cover up just how good of a fighter he is, cause that means he might get more work dumped on him

So, in this drawing, I made a picture of MetaKnight from Kirby, and Aoba Seragaki from Drammatical Murder talking with one another in Japanese Inn.

I think they're both on vacation and striking up a friendly conversation.

The person who requested this informed me that both of these characters are voiced by the SAME man:

Atsushi Kisaichi (私市 淳), which I thought was pretty funny because these two are both completely different characters.

MetaKnight is a serious, mysterious guy who is actually pretty cute underneath his armor, he tries to hide his cuteness to be taken seriously. Aoba is a serious, calm and caring guy who has a deep desire to help people, but has very bad luck.

Metaknight is an antagonist in a series of friendly kids' games by Nintendo, and Aoba is the protagonist of an erotic yaoi otome game produced by Nitro+chiral, a company well known in Japan for producing intense yaoi games.

What is your Headcanon for Kirbys Birth? did MetaKnight find him right away or was Kirby alone at first?

Kirby just showed up on Popstar one day, already slightly grown. How he got to that point no one knows, and Kirby can’t articulate it either (assuming he can remember).

I honestly like the idea of Kirby being a total mystery xD Why is he so powerful? How did he get to Popstar in the first place? Where did he even come from? We may never know.

Zooble up to this point just hasn't been a pleasant character most of the time for me- She swears like a sailor, is always flipping people off and being rude left and right. Not my kind of character. 💀

Now you might say "Zooble clearly has some issues going on deep down that makes her act that way" or "Zooble is mean to Caine because she doesn't like her body" In this case, I point you to what I said on that post-

"while I know many characters are likely to turn out evil or turn out to be really sweet, I'm taking them all at their current face value. Hope this helps some of my maybe.. surprising? Tiers make some more sense" This was directed at Zooble and Jax. They've probably got some lore that will make me sympathize with them but currently I just don't like it when those two characters are on screen :|

I will say though that Zooble was saved from being moved even lower in the tiers for the tenderness she showed in setting up Kaufmo's funeral.. <XD

Now Funky Kong, he is in my AU :00 and I intend to incorporate most other Kongs as well! Maybe I can tie in his "traveling salesman" type vibe and make him a brave/reckless Kong that likes to explore new areas on their island..? :00

As for Kirby, the Anime has a special place in my heart. And I also know barely anything about the games lore- The characters also seem to have a lot more personality in the Anime. For better or for worse <XDD

My favorite from the anime is definitely Metaknight. His only downside is he doesn't appear to have wings. <:/ (I remedy this in my AU >:) )

Nextgen Elfilin is either absolutely terrified of you or sees you as a family figure, there is no in-between

Nightmare isn’t Metaknight’s creator, but his influence did have a hand in Metaknight’s creation. Nightmare and his overall power was around waiting in the shadows, and a passing nebula gathered the positive energy from Popstar as well as some of Nightmare’s strange negative energy, giving way to Metaknight’s birth on a nearby planet. So Metaknight is a Light matter being with some of Nightmare’s power in him.

Magolor’s curse tattoos are from the Master Crown which were applied to his body after his initial defeat via Kirby. So the dude literally had to claw his way through Magolor Epilogue with this curse on his body.

I really liked Magolor Eplilogue, it has a good story to explain how Magolor got back to Dreamland as well as some extra hints of lore we haven’t gotten. I enjoy the challenge and how I actually needed to grind if I wanted to beat the final two bosses. And unlike a lot of people’s opinions I’ve seen , the ending is great. It’s one of those “happy but not in the stereotypical happy ending way as there’s still more to conquer” endings. Sadly there was no Marx though, which I was hoping he’d cameo in the epilogue, so a good 8/10 or 8.5/10 for me.

When a Dark Matter being reaches a certain amount of power they do grow into beings like Zero, however to me and in the event of Nextgen Zero2 is a Soul form of Zero, similar to Drawica soul or Marx Soul.

Yep! I’m alive! And I I will continue to be active on this account with Kirby stuff. I may kinda fall off once I graduate from college (which will happen either in 2025 or 2026) considering that’s my jump into real adulthood but that’s a while from now.
