I think we need to talk more about the fact that Richie just like killed someone, cause like wtf happened after that

Did the body just like dissappear?

Did someone find it?

Did they try to cover it up? I don't see why they would, it was very clearly defense

Did they figure out it was Richie?

Same thing with Bev, let's acknowledge the fact that she killed her dad; except I think she said she was gonna run away at the end of the fist movie? So that atleast kinda explains what happend afterwards, but even then it was very clearly self defense
