#was reminded of a gal i was pretty good friends with#in my earlier 20s#who i lost contact with when i turned her down romantically and she ghosted me irl#I just had the brief thought of Oh I Wonder What She Might Be Up To#so i googled her name figuring it would pull up her Facebook#and it autofilled#her obituary#from 2022#its a very odd feeling thats settled in my chest#very hard to describe#its unlikely we would have ever spoken again anyways if she were still alive#she moved several hours north and even then i had moved several hours SOUTH in 2022#but theres no chance at all now y'know?#its an odd feeling#i wonder if she ever fondly remembered watching horror movies together#or talking overtop the toll road on a summer evening#or helping me when my dishwasher flooded because I'd never used one before#i still have the towels she ran and bought me#i wonder if she kept any of my gifts to her#i hope she passed peacefully
