i have lots of respect for digital artists but i fuckin hate when some of  yall disrespect physical artists  imo you cant digitally make a gouche, watercolor, oil, acrylic painting only smthn that looks like it and thats not bad but thats also not what every art buyer wants, so pls respect the centuries of physical artists that paved the way for your digital programs c: and it makes me upset when like they spend 0 time actually learning and appreciating actual painting, the time it takes, the water, brushes, grab and weight of the paper, the patience, it will always have so much meaning to me  im always more inclined to buy physical art mostly originals, because theres only 1 no digital copy, no same art print hanging in someones house, no same two pieces  i love seeing and feeling the brush strokes on paintings! i love holding originals and knowing the artists touched this, they let me buy their only one. like dont get me wrong i do love art prints and i have/used to sell my photography prints, but for me i feel my value most when i make original paintings. theres nothing like the feel of mixing paints, theres nothing like taking physical strokes and seeing light reflect off, theres nothing like feeling your canvas/paper/wood/surface, theres nothing like the physical and the ease of change and i think thats why i never really missed digitally drawing, its rigid, having to constantly change colors, brush sizes/types, having special tools just to gradient, fucking layers OMGG I HATE, like nahhh give me some gouche n colored pencils hoe and i will see u in 10 hrs
