it is so crazy to me how anyone who is remotely a public figure has to choose their words so absurdly carefully in order to condemn the ongoing genocide of palestinians and still lose out on job opportunities and face mass harassment but pro-israel celebrities are just openly like 'genocide is awesome and palestinians are subhuman rapists' and they face no consequences from it
#folks online might have been mad at like amy schumer or regina spektor or noah schnapp but they will never lose anything material from this#compared to the absurd number of. say. journalists who have been fired for not dehumanizing palestinians essentially#or even look at the hadids who are incredibly famous and beloved and how carefully they have had to tiptoe around things to still lose out-#on job opportunities and have their numbers leaked by their friends
