when I began building a freeze team, I chose ayaka, xinqui, kazuha, and I was on the fence If I wanted to build chongyun or diona for it

I also donf believe in meta, kazuha was my first 5 star and he's was my DPS for a long time (I also want klee for him tho) before him tho, I was a Noelle main all the way

I have diona half built but chongyun is a claymore and I'm more used to claymore than bows, I still don't know I haven't decided. I have my mind set on getting ayato and zhongli tho (ayato bc siblings, and zhongli because xiao)

sometimes when I run scara/kaz I add Raiden into there for fun, it's just their skills work so well together yk(also understated combo, qiqi+Raiden has saved me in abyss many times)

also i recommend chongyun. said it before but he + xingqiu = permafrost. you have swords so it won’t shatter and his skill infuses normal attacks w/ cryo, so swirling hydro w/ kazuha means constant freeze (mostly)

yeah diona heals but xingqiu does too so i. call that a win. also i’m biased against bow users bc i don’t like their normal attacks :/

scara kaz and raiden sounds fun from a playstyle perspective but like….. do i even wanna think about that in terms of sagau— sorry that’s exactly where my mind went lmao- like the two offfield are 100% glaring at each other (bc i’m assuming you use raiden for her skill then swap out? idk i don’t play her :/ ) kazuha and scara likely get along (i’m told scaras voicelinf abt kazu is positive? but i haven’t done the quest yet to unlock it so no spoilers) since they’re both: wanderers ✅ wronged by the raiden shogun ✅ have dead friends ✅ anemo vision w/ skill for height ✅ so i think they’d get along well.

qiqi n raiden superconduct (i’m assuming?) sounds incredible, and i can’t imagine how useful qiqi is in the abyss. since kukis permanently on my team and at low health, she does p easily at the highest floors, and i hate having to reset so qiqis passive (whichever one idk i don’t have her) would be a lifesaver. (provided it works in the abyss? idk i don’t have her-)

But first, a little update since my last ask... in the end, I decided to sacrifice and skip Mr. Otter BUT I managed to get both Wriothesley and Ayato! 💙🩵 I love playing Wrio because I just get to smack everyone and his Itte~rasshai! is just *chef's kiss* lol xD Ayato on the other hand is still on building process, but he is to this day my luckiest 5 star because he came home on just 10 pulls! I still can't believe it, it's not even that big of a feat lmao but those kind of things never happen to me so I got really happy lol! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

Okay, enough with the ramblings, now to the original issue: I'm planning to pull for Raiden on 4.3, I have enough saved up to guarantee her even if I loose the 50/50, but I also have some spare primos that I was thinking on using to try to get Mistsplitter Reforged (Ayaka's weapon), I don't have Ayaka but I also don't have many 5 star weapons sadly T T, so do you think it's a good investment as a weapon for other characters as well? Or should I just save those primos for another weapon and/or character?

Oooh really long time no see Genshin anon-chan ! First of all let me congratz you for getting two of three your wanted list (lol). For your question, as youre not a whaler there's one thing need to be reaffirmed, are you play Genshin for ikemen hunter or gameplay or lore wise ? For me it's 50%-15%-35% while that sometimes different if cute gameplay like Charlotte came out (that curse too much 4* pull which makes me getting C1 Furina lol)

So as I'm lean into lore wise a bit, this could inviting some haters but I'm one of so little players hate Raiden specifically Inazumas and coincidence enough Raiden is their leader (lol). Even in my account I only have Ayato (ikemen), Ayaka (her fontaine costume cute lol), and Yae (I'm HI3 Yae die hard fans lol) only and won't increase anyone

Kazuha from Beidou crux fleet Liyue and Scara from Sumeru, I won't argue on that !

Mistsplitter sword is good for any dps, so even if you don't have Ayaka you can use it on Ayato (even sometimes I saw that sword on Bennett at coop lol) so yeah I can recomended you to pull the weapon but then again good luck with handguard farming. Btw mistsplitter lance had an universal user too~

PS : if you plan getting Raiden + mistsplitter sword while raising Ayato means you can't get out from Inazuma handguard farms for a while (lol)

today was your birthday, your friends in sumeru had thrown you a lavish party with cake and music and a special performance by nilou herself at the grand bazaar. though it was very fun, indeed, anyone would need a break after something as exciting as that, so you decided to step out into the streets of sumeru for some air.

it was here that the wanderer, or scaramouche, emerged from the alleys, offering his hand to you with the most innocent smile he can muster on his face.

"I'm just taking you to vantage point. isn't that a normal birthday activity?"

reluctantly, you place your hand in his outstretched one and he grips it tight, beginning to lead you down the many winding streets of sumeru city. his hand, despite it being cold, spread a warmth through your body. it was late in the afternoon, the sun would be setting soon, and you had to admit that in this lighting he did look quite pretty, though you'd never say that out loud.

he seemed to sense your gaze on him, sparing a glance behind him quickly.

"stop staring at me."

it was a somewhat long walk, but where you ended up was on the balcony in front of the sanctuary of suransthana. finally, he released you hand here while you wandered towards the railing, staring at the sight in front of you.

in the time it took for you to get here, the sun had begun to set over the horizon, painting a pinkish hue over the vast lands of the deserts and forests of sumeru while the branches of the great tree framed the sight perfectly. scaramouche found himself mimicking you, with his hands on the railing, almost touching your own, the only distance between your bodies caused by his hat.

"how is it?" he asks, cocking his head towards you. a smug smile laid on his face as if he already knew your answer. "the scenery here should be quite breathtaking."

"it is, very much so," you whisper back, too in awe of the view in front of you to notice just how much he's staring at you.

you, still in your party outfit, hair blowing in the breeze that comes from being so high up, the light gracing your features. while scaramouche has never been one to appreciate the sights before, he can still admit you do look quite nice in this very moment.

still staring ahead of you, you begin to speak once again. "thank you, really, this means a lot to me."

"there's no need to thank me - i see little point in it," he sighs, eyes leaving you for the first time since you got up here.

"this really isn't much to be thanked for, especially compared to the party thrown in you honor."

he sounds disinterested saying this, you almost thought bringing you up here was something he was forced to do, but the fact that he can't meet your eyes tells you otherwise.

"i don't care about how much someone has done for me on my birthday, all the matters is that i spend time with them. like right now, for example."

it's silent for a few seconds, your words processing in his mind.

"i understand," he hums, and he truly thinks he does, because he wouldn't mind coming up here again to spend some time with you in the future.

i know that as a childe main (as i have mentioned many times before) i shouldn't be telling you to pull for him because i am inherently biased, but if you do need a good DPS, he's amazing

the only issue is that he needs a second, equally-strong DPS in the team because his active time is quite short; if you really care about his active time aka you want him to be the sole DPS on your team, you'd need his c1

but as long as you build him well and he has a good weapon, he can do great damage! he's my second most-built character and each slash does a consistent 1000-2000 dmg >:)) so i usually pull him out when i don't want to waste time on a battle or if i need to do heavy damage hehe (i just need to get him a better weapon :( )

but, similarly to you, i am also pulling for albedo, so i can't talk HAHAHA

oh yes! let's speak about the harbingers!! the ones that shocked me the most when i saw all of them were arlecchino and sandrone - not because of their design or anything, but because both their names and the characters they're associated to are well, distinctly males. not that i mind the extra female harbingers (i think their design look cool!!) but it was very funny to me and my italian friends bc a girl named sandrone is like the equivalent of if you met a cute lil american girl named like, Big Jeff (the -one in sandrone is actually like a particle you add at the end of certain words to mean they're big lol)

as for my personal favourites... while i absolutely adore the restyling of dottore (he looks so hot omg ;;;) my personal favourite has to be pantalone? which is very funny to me again because he's all hot and refined and his name literally means pants lol

1. Oh my god, really? That’s hilarious she’s the least threatening one there lmfao. Maybe the big could refer to that giant ruin guard she was sat on? But it’s still pretty funny. I still giggle at the fact that Xiao apparently means small and my lil baby is absolutely tiny.

I’ve never really seen myself as perfect in any way, nor did I think about the fact that Albedo really does have it programmed in him to be utmost perfection, and having a ‘flaw’ on his neck is the only real way for him to be human so he’s not too perfect that it’s uncanny. I’m not good at receiving compliments so I always sound dry when I get one, but truthfully I think about those words every time I doubt myself or feel bad. Oh people are talking about their 5 stars?

C1 Keqing , C1 Mona, C1 Qiqi, Jean, Childe (literally the only 50/50 I've won lol and it was my favourite character I won it on I was shook XD) Zhongli (I had to sorta whale for him qwq it took nearly 180 wishes, he just did not want to come and sent Jean instead lol) Venti (was a guaranteed pity since I lost the 50/50 on Hu Tao) Xiao I was pretty lucky with since I got him about 20 pulls after losing the 50/50 and he's never left my party since XD and finally I have a guaranteed pity for Kazuha since I lost on Klee so I'm excited for that!

I also can't wait for whenever Albedo gets a rerun (I mean I really hope he does lol I tried him out in that battle event thing and really like him. Plus I have far too many DEF artifacts he's gonna be op by the time I get him XD)

And, well, if Scaramouche gets a banner I'm absolutely going to whale for him too lol.

when you have the extra cash to drop, it does make a huge impact on the game -- i usually buy those like 5 dollar gem things every once in a while but try not to do more than that ... though it’s tempting lol 

BET - the character i WILL drop money for is Dain -- when he gets a banner release ya’ll will get annoyed by my excitement
