ANYWAY MY CINDERELLA BOY HEAD CANONS!

Chase: Chase is the type of person who is definitely comes off an air head, but when he wants info, ooooh can he can ALL of the deets. Because people view him as an airhead he uses this to his advantage. He’ll play dumb and ask subtle questions. He gets along with most people so he’s going around and hearing ALL sides of the drama. He knows why Josh and Becky broke things off, he knows Barbra is secretly cheating in bio class, he knows that Jesse and Claire have been skipping classes the past seven weeks. He is very intuitive and socially adept, so he is able to pick up on even the most subtle things. I think more often than not he doesn’t care enough to cause a scene or pry more than necessary lmao.

Deacon: I’m so gonna get killed for this, but Deacon has ZERO dating experience. This man hasn’t been kissed, hasn’t held hands, hell he’s never been on a date. Despite the fact he’s totally a dork who gets so anxious he can’t say anything other than “I…um…I..I” while blushing like a red hot tomato when talking to a girl a lot of it also has to do with his mom who is a complete control freak and never let him date anyone. Ever. Cause “your studies come first.” So in all of Deacon’s twenty years of life he’s never been able to have any sort of swoon worthy, romantic encounter. Sorry Deacon, maybe next time…

Buddy: Despite the in-depth character analysis I have for Buddy in my head that I will have to share another time, I definitely think Buddy is 1000% that guy. I know there are loads of different theories as to how Buddy knows the entirety of the plot of every book they enter but my crack headcanon is Buddy is just that guy. Everyone knows that one person who somehow always guesses the plot twist, always knows who the murderer is, always knows who is going to die, is able to predict the entire plot within the first three pages. Buddy isn’t using any kind of dark Ex-Libris magic he has been doing this for so long and he’s so intuitive that he already knows what the plot is. No fancy notes, no magic, no key telling him what’s about to happen. None of that. He does the books based on pure intuition and previous experience.

this is a very complicated question and by complicated question i mean im kinda a purist please dont beat me with hammers. dc already has a very muddy canon with the 6000 reboots but i understand the canon in a very specific way that cannot exist in modern comics bc of the rebirths and new 52s and please just kill me

i enjoy the webtoon! none of this is out of hatred for the webtoon because i have spent far too much time reading and crying over it… when i moved last year i literally had every single issue downloaded to my phone just for something to do. the webtoon is cute <3 they deserve a break and i love slice of life shit and i think about that stupid fucking one where dick and jason were competing for coolest uncle with lian all the time it rots me inside out

BUT i do take issue with the damage its done to the widespread understanding of the bats characterization? and thats just dcs fault. im very “block n go” so if i dont like how someone writes/talks about the characters it doesnt bug me for long bc im never going to see it again!

kyle and rex is an absurdist drama set in a stagnant afterlife where everyone lies, cheats, manipulates, and hurts each other in order to gain political power and admiration from the public.

with characters constantly haunted by ghosts of the past, trying to stay on top of the food chain despite constant betrayals and having their secrets held up above their heads, comes back kyle, from his long stay back as a guiding spirit on earth, to take back reigns of the throne in the inbetween. though much like everyone else, hes got a long list of dirty laundry that many are aching to reveal. there are no real friends here.

Man, Webtoon sucks.

How come they have this guideline

"Intellectual Property Rights: You must own all of the copyrights and other intellectual property rights to your uploads, and your User Postings must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or publicity right of any other party, or you must have sufficient ownership or other intellectual property rights required to upload the User Postings consistent with these terms.

Yet when users, aka readers and creators alike see AI content, gacha, avatar generators (Picrew) and others being posted in Webtoon Canvas, its allowed?

Honestly it doesn't feel safe that anyone can just shove other creator's works into an AI generator, grab other people's works in general, especially when its obvious it is done without the consent nor permission of said original artists, and several of them don't even approve for its usage that way. Oh sure thing, they can't monetize from it but surely they can be within other creators, oh, they so much want artists and original content so they can later profit out of it if it matches with their brand and bring into new users on their platform but God forbid showing the least of decency to protect it from thiefs, plagiarists and more.

The more they fill Webtoon and other platforms with AI and other stolen, plagiarized or traced content (And even worse, developing their own engines with our data), the more artists will simply walk away. It is happening with Meta, everywhere they want to implement or allow AI, artists will complain, authors will complain, writers will complain. We are all complaining at the moment, and honestly, this makes me want to start telling my friends and other creators to leave Webtoon because they keep on adding to their list of constant direspect towards Creatives.

This issue happened with the Webtoon LATAM staff when I reported an AI generated series. I foound out about it because its "author" was sharing it in a facebook group, guess how that post was going? AWFULLY, every artist suggesting the person to switch to writing a Novel, hire an artist or draw the comic themselves, especially if they even want to see some kind of income for their so called "Great novel of 20 volumes that has been on the work for more than a decade"

Hiii idk if anyone will see this but I have a question for anyone who posts to Webtoon

I don't know how much of an algorithm the site has? Or if it has one at all? I used to upload a series a few years back and my impression from that was that every update would gain a subscriber or two and the series would slowly grow over time. Despite this, likes on the first few episodes were always the highest and they'd go down as you posted more episodes no matter how many there were and that was normal and to be expected

But i had to take an impromptu one-month break because of circumstances out of my control (technical difficulties with a new computer setup) and it seems like not only did my series completely STOP getting views and follows after that, but that each episode is only doing worse than the last one in every stat.

I've started manually keeping track of my monthly stats (forgot Webtoon doesn't do that automatically 😭) but it just seems like my series has like. Been shadowbanned or something. I don't even think webtoon can do that but this is so far removed from my previous experience on the site that I can't think of a reason this could be happening.

Did the site change since the last time I posted?? Am I doing something wrong??? Does the time and day of the week I upload matter?? I'm using the same day/time that I used to back then so I didn't think it would be an issue but I genuinely can't figure out why each episode would just be making more people leave the series rather than join it 😭

Wait wait wait, I saw in your tags that's Time and Time Again is ending soon? But I've only just found it! (through the animation you did, it and your comic are so well done)

Ah, yeah.

So by "soon" I really mean "sooner than I think I would like" and it feels much sooner to me as the writer than I think it will to you all as the readers.

But, Time and Time Again is pretty much exactly 2/3 of the way through right now. Webtoon gave me the end date before I even finished my first season, and I've been trying to fit in all the things I wanted to get into the story before it ends...

It's why my hiatus has been taking so long, I'm trying to write to get as many moments and as much development as I possibly can, with really limited time! And... also admittedly to prolong how much longer it's sort of "around" in my life.

Because I know once it is over, I'll move on to the next comic! and 3 years just doesn't feel long enough to have Adam and Steve in my life haha

But, yeah. it's getting "close" in a way that it's starting to make me sad. like this time next year it'll probably be over.

It's okay of course, it's the nature of stories that they will end. I'm working really hard to make it satisfying despite Everything, and I'm really proud of everything I've done so far.

And my next comic will be even better for what I've learned here!

So, sorry to everyone, but I promise I'm gonna make it worth it.
