As a black girl myself I’m all for black readers but gosh sometimes I wish it wouldn’t play so heavily into black stereotypes like why if the reader is black does the character in question suddenly have to start talking like a gangbanger or it’s black! Reader x baby daddy! (Insert character) like what 😭

#daisy talks #I can never take them seriously bc it’s just like #it feels so satirical and playing off a caricature of like if the reader is black then suddenly it changes like everything #like idk man and obv they’re written (I hope so) by black people and no one should feel bad for how they talk but like YOU GET WHAT I MEAN #or at least I hope so ajsjsjs like idk I just #it takes me out of the experience more and I tend to avoid black reader fics bc I don’t. talk in the way they portray the readers #and it takes me out of it so quickly when they suddenly start talking like someone from love and hip hop like 😭😭😭😭#idk man I guess this is more fuel for irls who think I’m not black enough AJSJKS
